Better Late Than Never

The ramblings of the ghostly woman indicated that she needed a package delivered. She claimed that it was where her horse was. As to where the horse is or where the package was to be delivered - the ghost remains incomprehensible.

Description

"The package must be delivered... delivered before I'm trapped here!"

The cries of a panicked woman feel almost like a whisper floating through the house. Cowered in the upstairs corner is the apparition of a woman. She does not seem to be fully cognizant of her surroundings, and she is only vaguely aware of you.

"Are you here to deliver my package? Please, before it gets much worse! I was going to ride out of here. It should still be by my horse... or am I too late?"

***The first farm in from the Bulwark has a house and a barn. Talk to the woman in the house's second floor (there are 3 mobs downstairs, one upstairs).

Next go to the barn and get the package that is right behind the wall as you go into the barn.

Go back to the woman ***

Now in the alliance version she sends you to find her sister in Stormwind.

You go to City Hall in the Cathedral District of Stormwind and you will find a Stormwind Census taker. He babbles about the Emma mentioned on the package being a NPC called Ol'Emma in Stormwind.

Exit the Cathedral District through the NE gate and turn left (do not cross the canal). Ol' Emma is upstairs in the first building you can enter on your left.

Emma will give you half of the Good Luck Charm from the package and will send you back to her sister in Felstone.

The sister will say she wants you to find the other half of the charm which is dropped by the Jabbering Ghoul that spawns in the SE corner of the farm, close to the Scarlet Mobs.

Kill the ghoul, combine the halves and take them back to the the NPC that started the quest. Ta-Da! Reward is a +13 Shadow resist necklace ] Felstone Good Luck Charm

At level 50, this gets you 2550 XP. There is no reputation adjustment.

Next go to the barn and get the package that is right behind the wall as you go into the barn.

Go back to the woman

Then head to the Undercity and talk to the Census Taker beside the guild tabard vendor

Then talk to the cockroach vendor under the bank

Then go back to the girl at the farm and she will tell you to kill the jabbering ghoul (lvl 54) at the farm - it wanders around and will drop the other charm half.

Click on one of the 2 halves in your inventory to combine the 2 parts. Give to the girl.

You get a resist necklace and about 16k exp for the whole quest line.

Really easy to do solo.

The map seems to be misleading. I found the package in the barn, next to the house where this quest starts.

The package is located 38, 55, which is right outside of the house, inside of a barn.

If you're around lvl 50, watch out for the undead mob inside of the barn.

This quest was even great as a level 59 warrior.&nbsp I got 1550 XP for this part.&nbsp 1550 XP for the next part in UC.&nbsp 3050 XP for the next part in UC two steps away (cockroach guy).&nbsp 1550 XP to return back to the girl.&nbsp Then 5350 XP to kill the ghoul ten feet away and return to her.&nbsp All in all I got about 14K XP and it took 20 minutes as a level 59 warrior.&nbsp Very nice don't pass this quest line up!

The crate (as mentioned above) is in the little crate near the entrance to the stables with lots of undeads inside. Once you finish the quest, click on the crate again to start another one that sends you to SW or UC depending on your faction.

Watch out for the Scarlet Crusade, a patrol of them comes pretty close to the barn and sometimes they'll chase after an undead mob and come close enough that you might aggro them as you come out, that and they tend to pull mobs into a crowd just to the left of the entrance as you're coming out.

After you have clicked on the package once and completed the quest you need to click on it again to get another quest that sends you to Undercity.

Best effort<->xp quest ever! I did this with a 53 rogue and after finding the package (it is indeed at 39,55 in the stables) it's such a breeze. I completed it within 15 mins after reading the info on thottbot. Everyone around level 52-54 or even higher should absolutely do this quest if theyre grinding in wpl!

The quest begins with Janice Felstone who is located in the house at Felstone Field (around 37,57) in Western Plaguelands.

She'll ramble on about a package and being stuck in this life. Once you accept the quest, head out to the barn located to the right of the house where you found Janice.

Fight the three mobs if necessary, but the parcel you need is on the floor immediately to the left as you enter the barn.

This is the part that is misleading. Click on the package once, go through the prompts, then click on the package yet again to pick it up for delivery to Undercity.

The guy you need to talk to is in the guild tabard section of Undercity on the left. He'll tell you that the package actually belongs to the roach vendor. See the roach vendor (Jeremiah Payson located under the stairs in UC) to complete this section of the quest.

If you so choose you can then pick up "Good Luck Charm" which leads to the quest"Two Halves Become One".

The pack is inside the stable, behind the first wall, u will need to kill 3 undead to get it, after u finsih quest dont forget to take another quest from this pack, it will elad u to UC

I followed the directions to go to the woman, then the barn. I got the pkg and the quest just ended. Says Better Late than Never completed.

Shady#$%'s explanation is right on, but for the sake of completeness, here's the link for the next quest in chain: "Better Late Than Never".

By the way, when I opened the package, the message showed up that I completed the quest. Then, I had to click on the package again to get to the next part of the quest, which directed me to return to Janice Felstone.

Same thing happened to me. Horde (demon soul)Picked up pkg. Said complete. Tried to go back and talk to here, still no go....is this a bad quest now?
