Better Late Than Never

Check with the Royal Factors of Stormwind to learn the whereabouts of an Emma Felstone. There is usually a census officer located in City Hall.

Description

You pick up the package, wiping off a small layer of dust and grime that had settled on it. It is addressed in a hurried hand to an Emma Felstone of Stormwind; the delivery of the package is dated for well over four years ago.

Though it is unclear if Emma Felstone is even alive, it is widely known that the Stormwind City Hall keep records on the populace of the city. This is handled through the Royal Factors of the Stormwind Census.

Once you get the package from the Barn, you take it to the Cathedral Square in Stormwind. There is a city hall building there, and the man is on the second floor.

Go upstairs in the house at the first field and talk to the ghost. Then go into the barn right next to it. You'll need to use the package inside twice, once to complete and again to pick it up and continue the quest.

1. Talk to Janice Felstone in the big house on the second floor (yes there are mobs in the building, standard lvl 50-52 level with spellcasters)
2. Get the parcel from the barn next door to the house. (Mobs in there too, 3 I counted, make sure you don't pull the Scarlet dudes either, unless you want to cause some trouble)
3. Go back to SW and talk to Bathrilor in Cathedral District (He'll appear as a yellow dot if you don't know where he is and wander about enough.)
4. Find Ol'Emma in SW. She wanders around quite a lot, luckily she was in her home (Well, I assume it's hers) when I did it.
5. Go back to WPL and give the first half to Janice.
6. Killing the jabbering ghoul. I think the necklace only drops from him, or it was a coincidence for me.

I found the package, but I neglected to read anything more and ran into three undead mobs and aggroed the Scarlet mob group on the way out.

Next attempt, I tried to draw the nearest one out, but they have that group aggro thing. I ran and aggroed the Scarlet mob again on my way out.

Third attept was a wild one. I drew all of them out and ran just out of Scarlet aggro radius in an attempt to get the three undead fighting the Scarlet group. Unfortunately, they were occupied with ol' farmer Dead Macdonald and his undead kight cohort to notice me.

At that point, I decided to try again tomorrow. Annoying, it was.

This is a pretty decent quest chain !

(1) Talk to the lady {Janice Felstone} in that house there in the house at Felsted....

(2) Travel to Stormwind City, and go to the Cathedral District, the town hall, upstairs..has the guy you gotta chat with next, dont know his name right off hand

(3) Then you gotta go talk to Ol' Emma...she is in Stormwind...on the bottom Right sector of the catherdral district area...however, she is not in the district, she is in the canals...she is in a house, or if you are lucky..you will spot her just walking around town. she travels for cathedral district and trade district.

(4) Finally, go back to the house in WP, and talk with Janice Felstone to return the half of the necklace....

(5) Kill a bunch of skeletons and ghouls, the other half will eventually drop, and its a pretty decent necklace !

Good luck !

I did it as a 51 priest, piece of cake ! All together I think i got nearly 11,000 XP

This dropped for me and my party from a Jabbering Ghoul. He was in front of the barn, and was carrying a pitch fork. He was the only Jabbering Ghoul on the farm. Hope that helps speed up your search.

After talking to emma in the house located in felstone field, go into the barn house beside the house you came out. the parcel is on the floor.

You can get the quest from a human ghost in the second floor of a building at Felstone Field.

You go to Stormwind to get a half necklace from ol'emma (not sure where exactly) then for the other half you come back to the same farm at Felstone Field and kill undeads for the other half of the necklace. (Also, not sure if you kill random undeads or a specific one, but it is from the farm)

I haven't done it yet, but I was told by a trusted friend. Going to do it tomorrow.

just a tip: you need to speak to the lady first then go and get the package (lady is in the inn type building - package in the barn to the right of the inn)then you go to SW to complete the rest of the quest as above.
