Supplies for the Crossroads

Find and return Crossroads' Supply Crates to Thork in the Barrens.
Crossroads' Supply Crates

Description

That attack on the caravan contained supplies we desperately needed.

You've been brave enough to take on the Razormane tribe so far, and I will ask you to do so again, but this time, I wonder if I could ask you to keep your eyes open for some of our lost supplies. You can probably find them throughout their camps, the quilboar getting fat off their dishonorable acts.

The people of the Crossroads would be in your debt.

The supplies can spawn in multiple spots (relatively close to one another).

I found mine at (59,24). Immediately Northeast of Thorn Hill.

Easiest one is at 58,25 come over the little hill, kill one Mystic, done. Can get the named for "The Disruption Ends" here as Kreenig is in the same camp area.

Do this quest along with The Disruption Ends (http://classicdb.ch/?quest=872). The mobs you have to kill for that quest surround the Crossroad's Supply Crate.

The Correct Coordenates are 58:27, at the sloop of the mountain, it's a pile of wood boxes in the Razormane Camp, the Razormanes are from level 12 to 15. At this coordanets I didin't have a Elite 15 to fight with.

It's not hard to find the crate if you're a little active. As far as I've read the supplies should be hidden somewhere at the eastern side of Thorn Hill.

I found the supplies at the first cords, and yes, there was a lvl 15 elite Mob there that drops totems and continually heals itself..

I am a lvl 16 holy spec priestess, so I dont know how other people want to solo it, but this is what i did.

First I buffed myself (obviously)... But then i went around to the back of the camp that he spawns on, up on the mountains, If you pull him there, you wont get aggro very easy. I pulled him a little along the mountain ridge and basically wand/sw:p/mind blasted him to death while i kept myself shielded and hoped that his totem didn't eat my shield in one hit.. which it did.. frequently.

It died eventually.. and i got some..(Drum Roll)... lvl 10 green gloves x_x

So it isn't to hard to solo this without being a crazy lvl, just have some patience and some healing pots ^_^

get add-on at www.curse-gaming.com/en/ called koordinates, otherwise go NE from XR to Thorn Hill, then East towards Far Watch Post, but don't go down cliff. Kill Razormanes there.

I followed the first guys coordinates and found it just fine.&nbsp If you cut across the hill you can sneak into the very last camp, there are a set of boxes near the tree.&nbsp In total I only had to kill 2 people and I was in and out of there GL!&nbsp For those without coordinates its the furthest set of razor guys you've had to encounter so far.

Recommend you be lvl 13 for this quest.

I cleared out the other mobs and my 15 Shaman was holding her own against the Elite but after about ten minutes it wasn't clear if there was ever going to be an end to this fight/heal cycle for both. Then a hunter respawned and I couldn't handle three (hunter + pet = 2).

I thought about the logistics but it's still a basic problem. You can clear out all the other 12 or 13 mobs in the area but they will simply respawn. You could drag the Elite out of the area but you'd need to drag it for a mile or so to clear the area. You can't kamikaze the supplies because the Elite's attack stops the loot timer. Interesting. Maybe I'll come back when I'm about level 20, because time is the one thing we don't have a lot of.

That level 15 Elite mentioned by a few other people keeps showing up for me, and he's always hedged about by a ton of other mobs.&nbsp At this writing, my hunter is level 17, and I kid you not: with the Elite and his entourage, this quest is a booger to solo even though it's greened out in my quest log.&nbsp Even being careful, I tend to pull 4 and 5 at once...

...and then there was that lovely time I pulled 8.&nbsp (Though I think that was probably just bad timing and judgment on my part.)&nbsp But despite what other people have said, he is always there for me.&nbsp Perhaps this is something peculiar to the newer patches?

Anyway, I'd say...bring a friend.&nbsp Or a nuclear warhead.&nbsp And good luck.

Crates at about 59,25.&nbsp If you go around to the back (east) it is much easier, as you can get a crate by just stepping up on the building.&nbsp You only have to kill like 4-5 guys that way, and don't get double-teamed.

ones which i found were at

58,26

may vary...i know there is another area but not sure where yet. Just head to thorn hill north then follow the mountain round to the east and you will see a group of mystics and defenders...near mountain side are the crates.

Just soloed this at level 12 Orc Warrior with plenty of greens and a Sharpening Stone II on. I died twice, once approaching the camp at 59,26 then a second time after popping the crates, when a Geomancer aggroed from behind the hut I was using to hide in. All in all, it wasn't difficult to take on one on one fights when I could begin them, and with other people around farming and questing the mobs, I was able to get the item and get out without more than two accidental deaths.

Also spotted some Tin/Silver Ore in the same camp.

There are two locations where you can find the Crossroads Crates. One is easy to get to (and soloable depending on your level) and the other is guarded by a Lv15 Elite Mystic, who's a pain to beat.

The easy place to get the crates is located at 59,24 for those of you using Cosmos. The second place is at the previously mention coords 58,27. The easy place is the first settlement you run across after crossing the bridge from Durotar into The Barrens. However, it is not as close to the bridge as other posts make it seem. Continue walking until you see a mid-level bluff to your left (as you walk towards Xroads). The easy place is a settlement that's based on the edge of the bluff, not back against the tall mountain. The crates are guarded by Geomancers IIRC. Be careful to take out all of the Hunters and Defenders surrounding the settlement first.
The second set of crates is located in the settlement across from the first one, placed up against the taller mountains. If you are a miner, you should expect to find ores beneath one of the thorny vines that surround the city. The crates are guarded by a few Mystics and an Elite Elder Mystic. This is the same area, incidentally, where you'll find Kreenig Snarlsnout, the target for the next part of this series. You cannot get the necessary crate unless you defeat both Kreenig Snarlsnout and the Elite Elder Mystic, so come with a group if you want the extra challenge of getting the Crossroad Crate from this location.
