<name>, you have served us well in the past, so I now entrust to you an important mission. The Grimtotem Clan is up to something secretive. Three agents of unknown origin were seen visiting the Grimtotem over the recent weeks. We discovered that separate chests in Darkcloud Pinnacle hold these guarded messages.

31,36 To find the ramp, come off of the Great Lift, follow the road to the south until it deadends, then go left.&nbsp Immediately on the left is a totem.&nbsp The path up is there

I just did it without cosmos...it may be easier w/out coordinates:

a) circle around the base of the darkcloud pinacle found on your in-game map...ramp is on western side
b) climb up 3-4 bridges
c) when you find the "city" note #2 is in the main tent
d) note number #3 is the small "village" connected to the city
e) note number #1 is on a bare peak connected to the city

I did the entire thing as a level 26 druid & used stealth to bypass anything I didn't feel like fighting

go to these cords and you'll find the entrance to the hill tops 31,37 and just make your way up and you'll find one of the notes outside on one of the hills and the other two you can find in the village area guarded in huts. all of this is on top of the hills keep in mind. nothing on the ground level

From atop the pillar at 35,31 You can see all 3 "village" type cliffs you need to visit for the notes.&nbsp It's a network of pillars connected by bridges - all accesible from this point.

All 3 chests can be found in the Grimtotem Compound which is the Tauren area built on top of the peaks in Darkcloud Pinnacle. You can find the ramp leading up to it south of the Great Lift.
Each chest is on a different platform so you'll have to fight your way through quite a few evil Tauren to find them. 2 are located in tents, 1 is out in the open.

To save time, you can also do the bounty mission for Arnak Grimtotem while you're up there, he's located in the compound, across a bridge leading back toward the Barrens cliff. Right next to him is an NPC who gives you an escort mission. Make sure you've already found all three chests before you take her mission or you'll have to fight all the way out, then all the way back in again.

The second note is in the middle building in their main camp (the one that shows up on the map) when walking up to it (for the first time - the First note is on the mount / bridge to the right (this is the top of the mound you walk past as you first walk up) it isn't in a building

in contrast the bridge on the far left which leads to a small building contains note three...&nbsp tloc really didn't help with this one :D

It is NOT found on the way up to notes 2 and 3, but is above you at loc 32, 31 as you walk up the path.

To find it. Face the tent you got note 2 from then take the bridge to the right. Go across the next bridge and it is in the chest there.

Ok i did have some trouble finding the first note but with thotbott i got it done the easier way to me of discribing it is while looking at your world map in the area of this quest you see the dark pentical area which you had to pass to get to Freewind post. The pentical is made up of 4 small mountians and one large one in the middle the notes are on three of the hills. number 1 is on the first hill which has no town on it, while looking at the map it is the one fartest to the left <-- the last one, second note is on the large middle mountian inside the main tent, the third is on the last mountian farthest to the right --> in a tent.&nbsp the way to get up the moutian is i beleive on the largets moutian circle around it til you see a free standing flag and go up its simalar the the second way up Freewind post. GL

A little tip, after you get the third note before the bridge there is an area you can dive into the water where the water elementals are, you don't get hurt if you jump, becareful not to jump on a boiling water elemental.

this was easy - i soloed this as a lvl 24 druid. just sneak past all the mobs in cat form, then kill the lvl 28's in bear form. easy as that.

One of the chests is on a completely bare "hill" to the right hand side of the town as u approach it, and has one lvl 25 on it.

The second is in the massive tent in the main village, and has 2 lvl 28s in. If u sneak to the end of the chest and attack the other will not notice.

The third is to the left of the village in a hut with a lvl 28 in, and a lvl 26 outside.

Go first up to the camp on hte hill and go right there is Note 1 and then go in the big House in the camp there is note 2 and the go left it's a litte house with a lvl 28 Reaver Note 3

Soloed it as a 27 Tauren Warrior, fairly easy, just dont agro too many guys at once and it's all good.

Died like twice cause I aggroed 3 of the evil taurens.

Buffed with Elixir of Firepower, Elixir of Defense and Demon Armor.

on chest #2 u can actually avoid any fighting at all, just walk on the outscirts of the camp (to the very edge of the mountain) when u reach the back of the largest tent u can open the chest trough the tent wall, just move ur cursor around until it turns into the yeallow open chest icon.

the ramp is at location 31,36 if u come from the Great Lift its on your left side, u can't miss it if u look to the left with some concentration.
If you're a rouge or a druid u can stealth around and take the first two boxes without killing anyone. Otherwise u have to kill lvl 27 and 28 mobs, not to hard ones though. Soloed it easy with my 26 druid.

All of the notes are in "Document Chest's" they arent like the usual silver type chests, they are more black.

The starting ramp to Darkcloud Pinnacle is located directly at 31, 37
Secret Note #1 is located at 31, 32
Secret Note #2 is located at 34, 39
Secret Note #2 is located at 39, 41

By the way... if u read the quest it says to go to Darkcould Pinnacle, if u read the co-ordinates and dont read the quest... you'll probably end up on the ground searching and being like "what the hell, it says right here." go up the ramp like it says at the beginning of my co-ordinates list.

soloed as a 28 hunter no problem. i could pull 3 at once easy without dieing, rick for hunters is to send in ur pet so he has all the aggro, take the first one til hes almost dead, then multishot. 2 get on you , one of them gets aggroed by ur pet, and pssh all downhill from there.
