Donova Snowden in Winterspring wants you to kill 8 Winterfall Pathfinders, 8 Winterfall Den Watchers, and 8 Winterfall Totemics.

Description

I came to Winterspring to investigate the Frostfire Hot Springs. I've noticed that the water seems to have ...strange qualities. I haven't yet been able to discover the source, and to tell you the truth, I've had some difficulty lately, due to the Winterfall furbolg.

They seem to be drawn to the springs, just as I am. They have become extremely protective of the water, and won't let me come near the two larger springs to the north of here.

I'd like to continue my studies, so won't you help me?

30,35 is definitely the best area.&nbsp There simply aren't a lot of totemics.&nbsp They respawn quickly, though.

Take both the "Threat of the Winterfall" and "Witnterfall Activity" quests and go first to 31,36 to kill Pathfinders, Totemics and Den Watchers (both quests need den watchers so you only have to kill 8 instead of 16 if you get both quests as I said)).

I did this with a lvl 54 hunter so I had to wait for 2 more lvls to kill the shamans and ursa's...

40,43 is a good spot for all of these. fast respawn rates also. it's in timbermaw post which is off the road, south and a bit east of donova snowden. fast respawns too.

This quest has you killing Winterfall Furbolg. As such, you can expect every decent spawn of mobs to be camped. What you will need to do in order to get your kills is plant yourself in one of the Furbolg 'villages' on either side of the road in western Winterspring and kills mobs as they spawn in. Expect to be competing with at least one or two other players for the kills, and don't be surprised to see mega-geared level 60s among the competition. These Furbolg drop items needed for Timbermaw reputation, which is why competition is usually fierce.

I recommend getting all your Pathfinder and Totemic kills in the western part of the zone, then heading east of Everlook to the other big Furbolg camp. There are many Den Watchers outside the camp, and they tend to garner less attention.

Just make sure you have the quest: https://classicdb.ch/?quest=6241 at the same time. It will at least save you from killing 8 mobs.

I was helping someone grind these guys for rep, and it seems that respawn's replace each type sometimes the totemic ones at the camps, and sometimes they were den watchers, just kill em all, and some more totemic ones should show

A note to Rogues, the Pathfinders have a troublesome ability to reduce your armor by about 1200 and impede your ability to be invisibly or turn to stealth, so make sure when you fight them, there is enough room to regen some health without getting mauled by a wandering enemy.

I dont get it. I see people all the time saying quote , "They are to lazy to re-install Cosmos", yet they are not to lazy to post here and keep coming back. Geeez, in the time it took me to type this I could have already had Cosmos or CTMod downloaded and intalled.

You can do this quest at the same time as Winterfall Activity, plus it gives you Timbermaw reputation too. Anyways, I killed my Winter bolgs around 30,36 area. By the Frostfire hotsprings. 54 BM/MM specced. :P Happy hunting!

I noticed that they are all Easy to kill,and due to the volume of the furbolgs I managed to complete the qst in the space of 10 mins \0/

Got 5800xp at lvl55 for completing this quest. Was simple enough, though killing the Den Watchers was a bit harder cause only 3 or so would spawn at a time in the area I was at. It was well worth it, though -- I also got patterns for Frostsaber Gloves, Tunic, and Leggings as drops killing them for this quest! That alone made it worth it!

Do both Threat of the Winterfall and Winterfall Activity quests at the same time. You get credit on both quests for each shared MoB you kill

Thankfully this is old news. Winterspring is essentially deserted these days. So unless you run into a twink run or a new person, you wont see anyone past 58-59 here anymore, or rarely and not taking your kills :).
