Bring Malyfous Darkhammer 6 Enchanted Thorium Bars, 2 Essence of Fire, and 4 Star Rubies. You will also need to turn in your Unfired Plate Gauntlets.

More importantly, are you willing to part with them? Naturally, I would pay you for such a noble gesture.

I'll tell you what, <name>. If you give me those unfired gauntlets, I will teach you how to make a set all your own. All you need to do is collect the parts for me so that I may narrow down the exact recipe.

The gloves are lying on the floor in a small side room in LBRS next to a lava pit. When you click on them, you get the quest (no baddies spawn).

Does anyone know if you only recieve the plans to make the gloves or do you recieve both the plans and a pair of the gloves?

You do not have to be an Armorsmith but you must be a Blacksmith.

Well, I was in LBRS with some guildies. One of them let me know where the unfired gauntlets, or whatever theyre called, were. I went over to them, but i did not see any skeleton giving quests. I tried picking up the gauntlets, but when I "opened" them, it was empty.

I dont know If you need to be a certain level of Blacksmithing, or and Armorsmith.. Im only at 235 right now. I doubt that.. but I dont know where you need to go then to get the quest.

Unlike every other quest reward in the game, these gauntlets DO NOT bind on pickup, so you can give them to someone else or sell them. Much to my relief as I only did the quest to help a guild tank get some more FR gear.

I'm Blacksmith and I've 300, soloed it as the video shown (thanks).
First I've click on&nbsp the unfired gauntlet, then I've clicked on skeleton and all works.

First check the movie above it shows the most but as people are still asking

when you get to the skeleton, click on it to get the quest then pick up the gauntlets laying next to him. After that you need to find the dwarf smith

hes in Everlook, in Everlook he gives you the task of giving him

4 star rubies
2 essence of fire
6 enchanted thorium bars

i suggest getting all that before flying to winterspring.

When you turn it in you get the Fiery Plate Gauntlets as well as the plans for making them

The gauntlets are actuly BOE so a rogue could very likely solo this quest easily (with stealh) and give the reward to a warrior

Note: you must be an armoursmith to create them but anyone can get the from quest so none Armosmith tanks (well i feel sorry for those) you can still get this gauntlets

i hope that helps for anyone who wasent realy sure

i have the unfired plate gauntlets, the enchanted thorium, the essence of fire and the star rubies.&nbsp &nbsp Im in winterspring and the guy is here at the forge.&nbsp He sees the gauntlets cause he says " what ya got there (pointing to the unfired plate gauntlets hanging outta my pack)&nbsp BUT&nbsp he wont do anything, take em, talk to me etc...?&nbsp WTF&nbsp do i need a better reputatiion with the Thorium Bros to make this work&nbsp causse it dont say that anywhere?&nbsp any thotts?&nbsp :(

Tried with my BS pala and still cant get any quest and the gloves disapear when i try to pick them up.

I didn't pick the gauntlets up in the prequest, completed it, now I can't pick them up anymore - GG blizz.

guess the gauntlets are in the bones near the corpse ?

The possition of the gaunlets has been changed, both the skeleton and gaunlrts are both now on the beach out of the lava.

As a Paladin this is pretty easy to solo to get these (especially if you get a Lock to put a SS on you 1st).
What I was headed into the instance and waited till the pats were on the ramp on the UBRS side of things and ran towards LBRS, from there I Used Divine Shield (Rank 2) to give me 12 damageless seconds, in which I ran and jumped off the nearest "Cliff" that goes down to the lava.
If you have the SS don't worry about this part just swim till you die then rezz and keep going.
Otherwise, this technique is fairly useful. Once you hit the Lava start jumping, and spend as little time in the Lava as possible (preferably be out of the Lava when you are supposed to get burned) and you can go great distances, if you get in real HP trouble use your Lay on Hands or a Pot. Then just click on the Gaunts and pick em up then click the Skeleton and it'll start you on the Quest. (Best to be Standing outta the lava to get the Item/Quest so you don't get interupted) Then Hearth out quick before the mobs have time to work their way down to you.

euh , i cant pick up that q ( or i dont know where it is ).What i do can is right click the gauntlets and then there is nothing in that bag ....after i close this ' bag ' it disapears

Oh this one was fun, u get the quest from the bones, the gauntlets u must pick up are in the lava, you can't just jump in and pick them up because you get interrupted each time u click to 'open' the gauntlets. the solution? in the lava there are a set of bones protruding from the lava, you must jump onto the bones to get out of the lava, then search for the gauntlets, the skeleton that you got the quest from points toward them though u can't see them because they're under the lava, just move your mouse over the lava until u see the little gear indictating u can manipulate it.

I picked up the gloves, and saw the skeletons, but never thought to hover the mouse over the skeletons. >.< Guess I'm running LBRS at least one more time today.

Got this quest today, got knocked down from UBRS and then I took this quest.. Never been down there where you find the skeleton and the skeleton hand.. Funny to find it when you got knocked down from UBRS! :D
