Make sure you're using the correct container to gather it. There are two very similar quests, both where you gather liquid from a moonwell. Make sure you're using the right container at the right moonwell.

This quest is cake compared to the one previous to it. Here's what I did.

Enter the "Jadenar" section of Felwood. Follow the path to the area you would've gone to on the previous quest but this time stick to the right and go down the path. You shouldn't aggro whatever is near the door.

Stick next to this wall. In other words keep to the right, or if you wanna go by your mini-map, stick next to the north wall. You'll eventually come to the wall. Instead of walking around to the 'open' side where you can just walk in, try to get a running start with your mount, jump on the nearby mushrooms and then try to jump/walk again to get into the moonwell. I tried this a few times. It may seem like you keep falling off of the mushrooms but then I got close to the moonwell, and after walking in place for a few seconds I got inside.

Fill the flask, jump out, mount up, leave. Nothing aggroed (unless of course you're unfortunate to run into an adept or something on the exit path.

This is what I did at level 56. It might be different if you're a level or two lower, so you may need to fight a few things. If not, then this should work for ya.

All I know is the quest says it's in Shadow Hold, but I went through that entire area and it's not.&nbsp I wasted at least half an hour stealthing through the entire thing.&nbsp It must be outside, but not sure where.&nbsp I'll try all sets of coordinates listed and try to remember to report back.&nbsp :)

It's in the larger, wide open area that the previous or second previous poster gives the coordinates for.&nbsp The pool is rather tiny near the entrance to Shadow Hold.

Go up to jadenar and follow the path left up a small hill,as you get to the top where it levels out and you see some buildings you can enter its just there on the right abit..full of green water.Just done it as lvl 50 rogue solo`d in stealth.Easy.And what the poster of "stfu rogue EVERYONE knows what i mean" the intellectual poster means i dont know..

It's on 35.60!

I just did the quest. And the pool is in the middle (pretty guarded) and it's filled with GREEN slime, not orange. It's not in any caves or houses, it's just at the back.

35,60 is correct. Had no problems finding it. One thing I have noticed about coordinates and comments on this website is that one person says, for example, (35,60), and then you get another person that says (35,59). It's always one number higher or lower. Being one number off is no big deal, even two isn't. If I saw it was really 35, 60 and not 35,59, I'd just go with the 35,60. Funny how you can read someone's video-game persona and see how they must ALWAYS be the leader no matter what it is.

can someone tell me why when i go to the moonwell in Jaedenar, i can't collect anything? do i have to corrupt it somehow or what may i be doing wrong?

nvm figured it out

when you travel north the place is tp the left - cross whar looks like a small bridge - 1 mob - then stay to the right up the hill - stay to the right - fewer mobs. Continue and you will run right into it.There is onle 1 well with greenish water.

&nbsp What I was looking for a well that had an openable symbol -- you know, that gear thingy that appears....

&nbsp At any rate...that GREEN POOL, which may look orange to colorblind ppl is exactly the correct place.

&nbsp You click on the canteen you need and the water is drawn for you...quest complete.&nbsp

There Are Two quests, and two moonwells!

Those adepts are tough!&nbsp I'm able to silence them and they still gave me trouble!&nbsp They'll hit you with a firebolt and then quickly fireblast you for close to 500 damage...it hurts.

BTW its not IN the den its outside forgot to mention that and when i mean its not orange i mean the color of the well water

Wrong. This is the one in jaedenar, "collection of the corrupt water".

Both are blue dots on the map.
The one this thread is discussing IS at 35,60.
The OTHER one is at 32. 66.

Open air, no cave

A canteen is used for this quest. Do not confuse it with the vial used in Felwood Ancients. The two quests are picked up in close proximity if not by the same NPC.

thanks for coord. this quest has been giving me problems. i found what looks like a moonwell in the back of the ruins, surrounded by burning blade nut heads. however, when i try to take a sample, i receive, 'requires corrupted moonwell in jaedenar.' either there's another pool, or my quest is bugged.

Pool full of gren water. Right in front of Shadow Hold, which has entrance at 35.58. Go past the Shrine of the Deceiver.

From road, follow path into Jaednar, and almost directly due west is the pool.

Is it in the "cave" to your left when you enter jaedenar? the one which goes downstairs? Or is it in open air?

You will find the moonwell at the back of the ruins.....just jump in and right click on vial job done ^^
