Barov Family Fortune

Venture to the Scholomance and recover the Barov family fortune. Four deeds make up this fortune: The Deed to Caer Darrow; The Deed to Brill; The Deed to Tarren Mill; and The Deed to Southshore. Return to Weldon Barov when you have completed this task.

Description

My dear brother Alexi. What a fool I was to spare his life. I looked into the face of the enemy, one of the undead, and let him live.

<Weldon spits.>

He now searches for MY inheritance. This simply cannot happen.

Find my family's deeds before that vile retch gets his boney hands upon them and I shall reward you with vast riches. They lay in the ruins of the Scholomance. Make haste!

Deed to South Shore: in the large room after you cross the bridge from the instance portal. It's in a small corner next to a bookshelf on top of a desk.

Deed to Tarren Mill: It's on a desk to the right corner of the room before Dragon whelps.

Deed to Brill: In the room where Ras Frostwhisper is at. He is a Lich.

Deed to Caer Darrow: In the room where Lord Alexi Barov is. It is one of the Six room with mini bosses at the bottom side.

The only deed that tends to be difficult to get to is the deed to Southshore. It is in the NW corner of the first room after you open the first gated door. The reason it can be difficult is that fear can end up being a huge problem, as groups of enemies are relatively close together. But if all goes well you should only have to clear about 3 extra groups (meaning groups you wouldn't need to kill if you were skipping this room) in order to get to it.

we did it today with 5 man, all was pretty easy until alexei, we couldnt kill him with the adds so the only way was for someone to draw aggro and run up the stairs and others loot deed. hope this helps

Got into a group last night, 60 warrior, 60 druid, 60 mage, 60 shaman, 60 rogue. right after we killed rotgut our rogue had "mom agg" and had to leave, we ended up 4 manning the rest of the instance , until the headmaster that is... It was alot of fun to 4 man Scholo, Alexi was the toughest but our warrior kited him while the druid bear formed the guards with the shaman healing and the mage nukung.&nbsp Gandling is definately 5 man material tho.&nbsp It's all about the group set up, like everyone has said before

The guy to wich you should hand in the quest is standing in the Bulwark. He will then send you on a quest called "The last Barov" that is in SV in EPL. You will need to kill a level 6o elite guy who has 35k HP.

Bring a frend to help you with that.

we managed the quest with:
- hunter
- warloc
- 2 pala
- rogue
(lv.60 players from our guild)

only the last boos is hard (this one with the aura), we killed him first, and came later back and finisched his 2 skeleton guards, and taked the document

you can take a shortcut after a rip, when you enter the instance jump on the right side from the bridge, and go through the student room, this makes the life more easy,
a warloc is very usefull when the enemys have respawned

it's not easy, but we had a loot of fun, and the items we found on the way were great, like my new 42 dps axe, or my new bow (this with the skelet look)

done&nbsp with&nbsp a 4 man group&nbsp 2 times in a row&nbsp
first&nbsp time with myself&nbsp a 60 fire mage, 60 rogue, 60 priest&nbsp and a 58 shammy&nbsp

second time with same&nbsp as above but&nbsp a 60 shammy&nbsp NO problem! mobs&nbsp die&nbsp almost faster then u can target

Scholo isn't hard with the right setup, just don't do it without a priest (shackle undead) and a mage. And take your time to clear everyting, because you WILL add more mobs if you don't.

We did the whole dungeon in about 6 hours, slow but we never wiped untill we took on Gandling. He first teleported out priest and then the warrior :( We managed to get him down to 900h, but then suddenly he restored 50% and wiped the last member of the group :(

Okay, best way is to have a priest and a shammy/druid avail. The group takes out the first two officers before Alexi and the other two. Once this is done, the priest will stand right at top the stairs on the left, just ouside his AoE (Alexi's). Priest will spam heal the tank, who will hold aggro in the same spot he starts (to keep priest out of AoE range and still in line of sight). Priest shackles one officer while the group then concentrates on the other (tank still on Alexi). Once that Officer is down, the group heads over to take down Alexi. Alexi down, take out remaining officer. Deed on table....

UGH this is just annoying. Im on the alliance side and I've had Barov's Family Fortune complete for almost a week now but I cant find the guy to turn in to! Someone told me Alterac Mountains. I searched every inch, never saw him. Somone said WPL....again nothing. Can anyone tell me where I can turn this quest in please?

Search a long long time for this guy but could not find him. Next day i loggend in an found him easily at chillwind camp. Can't miss him. Think he might have been killed or bugged before. He stood next to the well in chillwind camp.

The Southshore deed IS soloable as a 60 rogue (i had 5/5 imp stealth)

-It is Located in the first room (same as blood stewart)
-The deed is on the table in the north east corner (minimap)
-Position yourself behind the bookcase that is near the deed and click the deed through the wall.

also you cannot sap + blind the 2 adds at the table...more pull when you do this.

Deed to Tarren Mill - Room after Chamber of Summoning (corner after entrance to Jandice's area, on a table)
Deed to Caer Darrow - Alexei Barov's Room (on one of the caskets)
