Kim'jael's "Missing" Equipment

Find Some Rune that the naga have in their possession in the Ruins of Eldarath and return it to Kim'jael in Azshara.

What?! What?!

That wasn't good enough for you? You know how expensive those explosives are? They sell for... oh, nevermind. Fine, you want to make some real money? Cause that's how business is done: you prove you're a valuable employee and then you're rewarded adequately after you stick it out some.

If you're a "valuable" employee, then hit the Ruins of Eldarath and find me some rune that them Blood elves were lookin' for. The naga apparently have it in their possession.

Talked to a few people on my server, seems it easily drops from the higher level naga. I made one pass around that fountain thing in the middle, killed about 7 and it dropped.

The drop rate is not great, the quest can take a little longer than you would expect (it took me about 25 minutes of killing).

Based on the Wowhead drop data and the comments I tried both beach and up in the ruins, it finally dropped off of a Myrmidon on the beach. Many of the mobs in the ruins themselves do NOT drop it, so the beach might be a little better. Only kill Myrmidons and Sirens, which the beach is crawling with.

Grind for this down on the beach, the serpent guards in the ruins do not drop the item!

For those who don't know (and I didn't), Kim'Jael is on top of the mountain at 53,21 location. You have to go to the North side of the mountain and then head South up the mountain. He there by himself.

This is quest is simple, kill ANY nagas in the ruins and it WILL drop, just be patient, i gt it after about 30 but its free xp.

"some rune", i think "some guy" at blizzard got lazy with coming up with names :P.&nbsp This item dropped in about 15 mins for me.&nbsp I'd say they likely fixed the drop rate judging from previous posts.&nbsp Remember its myr's and sirens only.&nbsp

Got it on my first kill also, around 51,40 on the beach. For a quick route to the beach with out taking your chances nose diving off the cliff, the first available path down is 45,36 and leads right up to the beach. Either that or you can run east (lol) and dive into the water like I did. I found the path on the way back up /sadface

Kill your mobs inside Temple of Zin-Malor.
Right mobs and good chance of rare spawn on second floor named "General Fangterror"

"Some Rune" Dropped of 52 Spitelash Siren... lol... first kill. This is at the end of the top road after it forks at the Ruins. Good luck guys. Sorry I don't have co-ords, but its pretty simple, I think. Oh, and there hasn't been a server restart lately, so I don't think that really changes things.

Dropped at 35, 54 I think if you hunt the Sirens around the main ruins (near the loc I mentioned) you have a higher chance of getting the drop.

If you are looking at the Legash Encampment, there is a red tent like structure next to a ruined building(a bunch of broken columns).&nbsp Next to that is a big hill.
Looking at the hill with the red tent behind you, will you see a tree with red foliage on the left an a cluster of trees with red and orange foliage on the right a little farther up.&nbsp Go up the hill and turn right just after the cluster of trees.&nbsp At the top you will see torches marking the "entrance" to Kim'jael's camp.&nbsp Climb up to the torches and you will see Kam'jael and his tent.&nbsp

Drop rate for me was terrible, took me an hour of farming the Myrmidons and Sirens on the beach. Luckily the XP (at lvl 54) was decent, and I got 4 Golden Pearls in that time, to make it worthwhile.

I spent about an hour and a half looking for this thing. I read what different people have written on this q on several sites and tried the temple like some have suggested, however, i then tried the beach and that seems to have the better %. I finally got mine off a siren they seem to have the better drop rate. I hope people find this post useful in doing this q.
