Get the Sceptre of Light and then return it to Azore Aldamort at the tower in Ethel Rethor.

Description

The Burning Blade in Thunder Axe Fortress to the east is rumored to have acquired the Sceptre of Light from the Naga. Legend tells that the sceptre is able to sink entire cities under the great seas. The Burning Blade must not be allowed to possess such power.

To that end, you must retrieve the sceptre yourself! It is held by a Burning Blade seer, who studies the sceptre from atop one of the Thunder Axe watchtowers.

When you walk through the gates of Thunder Axe Fortress, there's a watchtower immediately to your left. The seer is in the room at the top of the tower.

For all the nubs who cant post...

Guys, the tower is inside the fort. Its the 1st tower on your left.

Its easy saying "he is on the top of the tower", considering the place is full of them.

If your gona help, then please do it propely

You get this quest from Azore Aldamort, 38, 27 in Desolace.

Go to Thunder Axe Fortress in Desolace to get the sceptre.
Enter the fort and go left. DO NOT go into the main building.
Go up the left watch tower (open, stick-built structure). There was an Augur at the base, a Felsworn on the 2nd level, and two Felsworns on the edge of the top level. Then inside there was an Augur with the Seer.

My main problem was I didn't go up the tower far enough. Once you go up one level, there is a ramp on the outside of the structure that will allow you to go up to the top. Keep climbing until you find the seer. Seer is always there and always drops the sceptre.

1. Enter main gate at 56, 30
2. make a left
3. Go up free standing tower killing mobs on the way
4. When you get to the top, solo pull the outter two guards if any
5. Go through the opening of the tower on top and kill the seer and his buddy
6. Loot the seer

Note - this quest causes confusion because you can't see the guys in the top of the tower. Anotherwords you can't target through them, so many don't realize they are actually in there.

I had trouble finding him so going give directions...

in Ethel Rethor (NW desolace) go 1/2 way over the bridge to the closed tower then jump off to the side. where you land go north then west and he is standing in a clearing.

Burning Blade Seer is not in 52,28. She is in a watchtower that in 55,30. There is a small room on the top of the tower.

Sceptre is drooped from seer at 55,30 in Desolace, that is the first tower to the left from enterance to camp ! Quest giver is right from the brifge leading to tower at 38,27 in desolace (you don't need and you can't enter this tower)! For one who don't have coordinates i sugest to get addon for coordinates from www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/addons.html&nbsp
Instaling addons is very easy, once you have addon for coordinates you go into your wow directory usualy that is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns&nbsp and just copy them inthere. I sugest that you download " TITAN PANEL " full addon wich contain coordinates ! Enjoy

Goto the fortress wooden fence(palisade), look for the attack tower directly to the left. /tloc is uselss due to the small area.

Climb up and up and around, he's on the inside of the structure.&nbsp Usually 2-3 other casters with him, so you may need a friend to help out.

for those without tloc, approach thunder axe from the south
to the left of the entrance, just inside the fortress is a tower
he's at the top
don't worry about attacking the ogres, you wont go PVP

Enter the fort. Swing left, you'll see a watch tower. Dont get the watch tower confused with the adjacent building-NOT the building. Usually there's an Augur at the base, a Felsworn on the second level, and two Felsworns on the edge of the top level. Inside there's usually an Augur accompanying the Seer, so expect two.

I did this with my 33 Priest. I Mind Controlled the Augur (2 lvls below the seer), and pumped out as many spells as i could before it wore off, rinse and repeat until the Seer almost killed Augur. Finished Augur with Smite, two Mind Blasts later Seer was dead too.

Case anyone was wondering, in the adjacent building theres a lvl 36 Burning Blade Night Elf, named like Tyranis or somethin. Believe hes used in a quest here.

Stand on the center of the stone bridge that leads to the closed tower.&nbsp If you look down to the right, you'll see a path directly under the bridge.&nbsp This path leads to Azore Aldamort, who is on the right side of the mountain that the closed tower sits on.

Jump off the bridge and follow the path to the ruins that are next to / below the base of the tower's right side.

Yep, coords confirmed: 55, 30. Make sure you follow the path all the way around. I got up to the top, saw a felsworn and left, since I saw no seer immediately. The seer is actually inside the tower, rather than on the platforms outside.

This guest was pretty easy with lvl 33 rogue, just stealthing into 55,30 top of the tower, killing the mobs outside it (3 pieces of lvl 30-32), then inside of it there is one lvl 33 (the seer) and other mob which is lvl 30. Seer dropped it.

ok to make it even easier ill tell u instead of coordinates.

ok the scepture is heald by a guy named Seer over by the Thunder Axe Fortress. You straight in then to the left there is a tower. NOT THE BUILDS. there will one gaurd on the ground. Then another on the next floor. On the final floor Seer is inside with a gaurd while teo others stand outside. Seer is lvl 33 and guards are all 31.

the seer is found at the Thunder Axe Fortress.. When you enter the main compound via the front gate, the watch tower is directly LEFT of you.. all the way to the top.. careful as you get near the top.. clear them one by one, but in room at the top there are 2 of them..

You need to enter the fortress through the main gate (56,30).

Enter Ethel Rethor, in northwestern Desolace. Walk up to the big tower. Take a look off the ledge to your right and you'll see another ledge, with a table and some little columns at its end. Jump down there and Azore Aldamort is there.

Jumping isn't necessary, but I can't really describe how to find the path up to him - not enough landmarks. Take note of how to get there without jumping, once you get there.

the npc that gives it is azore aldamort.. he's is ethel rethor, on the west side of the zone near where the nags's on the beach are. he's argent dawn, and he gave me the quest (ne dru).

you need to kill the seer ook mentioned.
