You look like a capable <race>. Perhaps you're looking to make some money? Cork and I started this caravan to make a bundle of money; little did we know the dangers of turning a buck!

Up ahead is Mannoroc Coven... normally the demons ignore us but something has the kodos spooked this time. I'll pay you to protect the caravan past Mannoroc Coven. Once we are safely past you can receive your reward from our business associate Smeed at Scrabblescrew's Camp.

This is the second of two quests on the caravan trade route between Kormek's Hut and the Gelkis Village. It is also the harder of the two. After returning to the Gelkis Village, the caravan sets up shop and rests for 10 minutes. Then it departs headed east along the road and stops just outside the entrance to Mannoroc Coven. At this point the quest becomes available for only 4 minutes. If it is not recieved within that period, the caravan continues east along the road and then north past the Kolkar Village and finally west to Kormek's Hut. You have to then wait for the caravan to complete it's circut before you can pick up the quest (which takes approx. 40-60 minutes! depending on the quests being picked up or not along the way)

For the quest, you are attacked by three seperate mobs as you pass through Mannoroc Coven heading east. All three mobs spawn the same units and they are as follows :

1 Lesser Infernal (level 36-37)
1 Doomwarder (level 37-38)
1 Nether Sorceress (level 39-40)

After the third mob is defeated, the quest objective is completed and you can head directly to Scrabblescrew's Camp to recieve your reward.

The quest is really tough to do if u dont know how. So, as few of you said before, get involved as less as possible, just stay aside and assist a little. I soloed as a hunter level 32.
Note: If u fail the quest (as i did once), go to 40.80 where the caravan stops and wait them exacly 10 minutes, after that, the caravan start to move again and before they enter in Mannoroc Coven u should speak with the goblins and take the quest again!(leave the failed quest before that)

The Caravan travels back & forth on its trade route.&nbsp After its southern stop & when it heads north and it gets to 45,75 west of Mannoroc Canyon one of the goblins shouts it needs help being escorted.&nbsp At this point it'll have a yellow "!" above its head.

Easy if you're 35+.
All npc caravan members will help kill if the mobs are close enough.
Two to three fights of about 3 mobs each, all lv 34-38 range IIRC.
You can heal any NPC if they get low on health.
If you fight a mob that isn't part of quest, any mob on side of road, if you bring it close enough to caravan they'll start killing it too.

The Caravan made 3 stops with with 3-4 mobs per stop.
The kodo will charge against mobs so just pick one at the time.

Return the Quest at 62,62.

When the quest becomes available he will yell his location and ask for assistance.

Reminded me a lot of a player when he did that. :)

Tried as a lvl 34 priest...

As far as I've seen there are 3 waves:

Each wave:
lvl39-40 Sorceress,
lvl38-39 Infernal (fire immune),
lvl37-38 Demon

I failed because the last wave just killed one of the NPC's just before the wave was killed... >_<

Also... I wasn't able to heal the NPC's you have to guard =/

The trick is to NOT GET INVOLVED too much :D
Just help a little with the lvl39-40 Sorceress but don't attract too much aggro.
The Kodo's can handle the other 2 baddies.

During this quest there are 3 'ambushes', each consisting of 3 mobs.
They consist of a Nether Sorceress (succubus), infernal and felguard each.
They are the same level as the mobs in Mannoroc Coven, so if you are having trouble with those, you might need some help with this quest.

Of the 3 mob ambushes (there are 3ambushes) the kodos can take care of the infernal all by themselves, and I suggest that you take out the sorceress first, she hits you with a frost slowing spell that really makes things difficult. As a 39 rogue I soloed this successfully without dropping below 80% I suggest at least 1 other person in your group if you are below lvl 37.

It should be noted that when this quest is available (when the caravan is in the right place) the quest is given by Rigger Gizelton, just west of Kormek's hut. (At the moment the quest info above doesn't show who gives the quest, nor does it say on Rigger Gizelton's page that he gives the quest.)

I camped these goblins for over an hour, speaking with them ~ every 5 minutes just in case there was no exclamation mark due to my level (41). The goblins never moved and never offered the quest. If anyone can share any more information about when these two quests start or how to get them to start, it would be much appreciated.

I am a level 35 warrior and if it wasn't for the kodos attack I would have died a lot. I was down to like 10 life but luckily the kodos took the attention off of me.

I believe a level 40 spawned also. Be careful.

Actually, this quest isn't that easy for those on a PVP server. Desolace is constested territory and the road that you do this quest on is highly travelled by wHorde.

I've tried to finish the quest three times now and all ended with me dead and not being able to get to my corpse in time to win the quest. This is ESPECIALLY irritating because you can only take this quest once an hour. First time was solo (at lvl 39) because it's a very easy quest. The other times I had a group to back me up but I was unable to stay alive because i'm a druid and the smart wHorde focus on me because of heals. This causes you to fail the quest.

You have to watch out because this is an ambush area and you make very tempting targets because you are fighting NPCs.

Just tried this quest yesterday on RP server, got to Rigger Gizelton just as an Alliance char got to him. I accepted the quest from him and thought I was good, went through the escort without any troubles, got to Smeed at the end and found out that I did not get the completed quest, the Alliance char completed it! Apparently you can get the quest and not be able to complete it! A rare bug I imagine. Anyway, he was PvP flagged so I got to work off a little frustration.

There is 2 stops for that caravan - near Gelkis camp and at north near ALly base (on road). Then someone already escorting then - you can follow him (or gank, if opposite faction D). After somone complete that Q? caravan start run like crazy to their destination point. Then they aproach Vendor-Tron 3000 will apear. After 15 mins of Iddle caravan leader says, that caravan start to moving and approach another poin in 1 hour. But 1 min later there will be /yell, that they need help with demons/kolkal centaurs. Demon on is a bit more harder coz mobs here can be up to 40 lvl. Kolkal part (if caravan move from north to south) is more easy. After saving caravan from 3 waves of mobs you will done escort objective and can go to Scraweblablabla camp (goblin wich give Q for tame some old kodo).
Yea, then you get that Q goblin says that you earn 100 gold, but other one will say you won't and give you 1 of 3 greens. =)

I soloed this quest with a lvl 32 hunter.. pretty straight forward.. as it has been said already the kodos help out and if you have a decent pet to tank, you wouldn't aggro any of the demons...

This quests starts just west of Mannaroc Coven (north and slightly east of Gelkis Village) on the road. Generally he'll /yell into the zone to let people know he's there, otherwise you'll have to wait around for him. On the trip, you'll be attacked 3 different times, each time by at least 3 different demons (generally around lvl 37-38). The goblins and kodos will attack to defend themselves and will heal naturally after each attack, so it's a very easy quest.
