Maggran at Sun Rock Retreat wishes you to slay Bloodfury Ripper and bring her remains as proof of your deed.

	Bloodfury Ripper's Remains

Description

Limiting the number of Bloodfury Harpies will not be enough. The only true cure for their disease would be to slay their leader, Bloodfury Ripper!

She is all but a queen to those filthy creatures. Slay her and their numbers will surely diminish.

Go back into the Charred Vale and you will find her along the western hills. She will not be easy to vanquish, but the reward will be great.

Killed her with my lvl 27 rogue. Very tough got me down to 70hp before she dropped. It is possible but u have to use every single trick your rogue can use at lvl 27 to do it. I've found so far, that with elites if you build up max combo points and then dmg there armor with it they tend to be much easier to take down. GL :)&nbsp

Found her around 30,61 or so. Just made a macro with /target Bloodfury Ripper and ran until I found her.

I'm a 25 frost mage and I had to use one Mana potion, mainly becouse I @#$%ed up and got an add I had to resheep now and then. Anyway, easy kill just frost kite her and you'll be fine. Frostbite is godly here.

This one is possibly bugged. I was looking all ove the zone for the Bloodfury Ripper but could not find her. So, as I was killing all the other mobs I could get my pet on I happen to kill another Bloodfury Slayer. Well, she dropped the quest item and my quest was complete.

My result:
You gain 2100 experience.
Your reputation with Thunder Bluff has increased.

The location without Cosmos Coords is in the North West corner of the Charred Veil. If you view it as a clock, these harpies are located at 10:30/11:00.

the only real problem with the fight is that 17 different regular mobs pat around the area where you fight her. pulling her and fighting her is fine until something else jumps in.

as for the fight itself, i pulled with starfire, then rooted her, faerie fire, starfire, shift to bear, enrage, start mauling her, bash, feral charge, shift out and root her, heal and repeat. shifted to cat near the end to dps her down.

She is though. She enrages when her hp is down to 40-50% and gets crazy. I had trouble with her with lvl 26 sham. Luckily a 29 warrior ran by and helped me.

I recommend at least 2 lvl 26+ players to kill her.

Loc 30,61 as mentioned below. If you don't have coordinates, Northwestern area of the Charred Vale.

She doesn't cast.

She has A LOT of other harpies around her. I cleared them away so I could fear kite her. Soloed without too mcuh difficulty as a 28 warlock. I did have one respawn which almost screwed me though.

for all who doesn't have the loc mod the NW loc. is dead on the money. Just hug the west walls then head north.I did it with a 3 ppl group and it was a peice of cake. A 21 shammy, 25 Mage, and myself (26 Hunter w/ pet of course) we killed her in like 10 seconds. After I pull her I only had to take 5 shots that combined with the mage DOT,the shammy totems, and my pet. She went down quicker then the Titanic. So a peice of advise guys "get a group and get this quest done and over with."&nbsp side note: surprise it was quick, so we decided to take on the mobs around her, us 3 vs six or seven harpy( lvl 25-28), came out VICTORIUS w/ minimum health left.&nbsp LOL

Found her and her branch at west side like the quest log said, not up the mountain or anything. She's on the ground with a bunch of other harpies&nbsp I tried solo with my shaman 28 and got kill 3 times.&nbsp When she enrage = you can't heal = you die.&nbsp She's 26 "ELITE"

30, 61 are indeed the right coordinates.

I pulled her to the hill at 29, 60 after clearing only one harpy out of the way. Pull her far enough back on that little hill, and you won't even aggro the pat that paths that way.

Cake for a 28 druid. Pull with faerie fire, dot with Moonfire, throw on a rejuv and have at it in bear. When she goes into a rage, pop out of bear, Warstomp, and root her. Bandage up, dot her with Moonfire again, and reapply faerie fire if necessary. When you feel ready, go back at her in bear form (preferably with a rejuv on ya, and a regrowth if you are paranoid). Didn't get me down past 70%.

Granted, being a 28 feral druid does help. I don't think I would have tried this at 26 though, just to be on the safe side (stronger rejuv at 28 after all).

for those of you 12 year old newbs who haven't figured this out yet, This posting here is mainly for those want to give helpful advice on how to do the quest or give coordinates for the Mob/NPC...THAT'S IT! No one givies a flying F**K how you soloed this at 10th level with your flaming nerf-bat of fiery monkey-spunk. i was a level 24 mage and did this w/ a level 26 warrior but w/o him i couldn't have done it, w/ both of us it was fairly easy, only problem we had was when we got swarmed by 6 harpies.

Tried to straight melee her the first time and died after she became enraged 'cause I couldn't keep up to her high DPS. 2nd try, I rooted her when she got enraged and the kill was easy.

Just finished this quest. You should kill all the surrounding harpies so you can pull to a save spot. I soloed this with my lvl 24 warlock. Had my void tank out. I shovef some dots on him. Curse of agony, corruption, and wait for retaunt from my pet then Immolate. I wait a little bit then do the sequence over again with some small nukes inbetween. My pet was close to dieing around when Bloodfury went into rage, so I sacrificed my pet for the armor boost. Casted fear on Bloodfury and resummon my pet. When my pet finished being summon I had to quickly recast fear and then tell my pet to attack. I then finished her off by casting fear, curse of agony, corruption, fear, corruption, and then the finishing blow with my shadow bolt.

She is in the charred vale near the north west corner. She is easy to see since she is blue and all the other harpies are red or white. I killed her about 10 times at lvl 28, she hits in the 50s and has a nice dot (possibly rog attack, didn't take time to look). She dropped the quest item the first kill, she also drops 1sil+, regular harpy drops, and a vibrant plume that i only found on her.

As the quest log says she is flying around in the west part of the walley close to the entrance. She is tough, I almost managed to kill her solo at 29 as a warlock. She was 26 Elite. Didn't succeed so I don't know what she drops. Doesn't seem to have a lot of HP but do a great deal of damage, so go full DPS or have a healer to take her down. Should be easy if you are two or level 30+

I did this with my 28 hunter and his 27 pet and it wasn't too bad. I got one add, but I just threw out a multi-shot to get the add to aggro me and then I just concentrated on the elite harpy. She went down fairly easy.

i soloed at lvl 29 theres alot of harpys around her so i recommend to wait till shes on her own before pulling her (that is if you want to) and then take her out i got her first time =D but she goes berserk after her health passes half way and she goes faster

possible but very tough solo i died 3 times finally had her running and was dropped from behind by other harpy. Coor are correct. i'll try her again now with top line gear for lvl 27. Best to take 2 or 3 players in and get her and not waste time solo. i usually pull her to NW after clearing other harpy's. i got her with help 4th time was tired of wasting time.

I soloed her with 29 rogue, she had another bloodfury with her. Had to use a healing potion, but otherwise an easy and fast quest. I didn't clear the area or nothing just a quick hit-loot-run. Cloak is nice for a rogue.

does this quest give any ogrimer faction or just thunder bluff? ive noticed a lot of times thunder bluff faction doesn't give any ogrmier faction like the troll faction does
