Description

Heavens no! Poor Rustlocke. 'Tis quite a tragedy indeed.

We must not let his death pass in vain. This parchment you discovered indicates that Kam Deepfury, the mastermind behind the original attack, arranged for a cache of explosives to be stashed just across the Thandol Span, in Arathi Highlands.

If those explosives make it to the bridge, our major supply line to the north will be severed! The cache must be destroyed, <name>! Return to me when your mission is complete.

You're our only hope.

You have to go across the big bridge, and then to the right after the bridge there is a smaller wooden bridge, that leads to the explosives.

Cross the bridge into the Arathi Highlands and go across the little wooden bridge directly to your right.

The cache is right in the middle of the camp, guarded by about 5 level 30-32 dwarves. Just right click it and watch it blow.

Just so you are warned, destroying the explosives has a casting time, so you cannot just just in, hit it and run out, you'll actually have to do some killing.

Location is at the border of Arhati Highlands and Wetlands.

Big Stone bridge and from wetlands left you see wooden bridge.
When walked across wooden bridge you see the waggon full exposives you can't miss it.

Jump into the water to go behind them and kill them one by one.(lvl30)

This quest is after you find the corps down in the bridge in one of the 2 pillar/collums entrany's.

I soloed this as a 28 Resto Shaman
Ran in
Aggroed all
ran half way back across the bridge
dropped a Stoneclaw totem
ran back and blew up the cache!
then I ran down to and across the river to lose aggro

You have to literally go into the Arathi Highlands and it is at the very BOTTOM/SOUTH of the map. As soon as you enter that area there will be another small bridge on your right. It is across that.

1 IS on the big bridge, their are steps that go down take them and&nbsp kill the guys then you will find him(hes the corpse)
2 Next talk to the quest guy and he will tell you about the cache of bombs go across the big bridge then across the small bridge kill them blow up the exsplosives DONE.
Hope this cleared up things if help is needed im on the Chromaggus Server whisper Gpop.

Okay, no mage tricks were used.&nbsp I tried to just "go up" and got attacked and ran to the top of that little hill next to the area.&nbsp I died, then resurrected on that hill at the furthest point from the dwarves, but so i'd still be on the hill (and not fall off).&nbsp I put my ice armor up, my intellect, dampen magic, then tried to sneak up again, but a dwarf lock got me, but no one else.&nbsp I pulled him away from teh others and pwned him (counterspell, ice block, some fireballs, etc.).&nbsp I then one by one killed one or two others that could aggro, and then snuck up.&nbsp It's important, I think, to sneak up from the path side, NOT the bridge side, if that makes sense.&nbsp :)

did this one at lvl 36 hunter, so melee w single mobs no big deal. i think they are all low 30's.

trick is to pull so u only get a few. if u go just short of the end of the rope bridge you can see all the mobs. to your left, behind two other mobs, is the highest lvl guy. tanked him w pet, then pulled the one next to him, two came, took them down, went back for mr. big. could also set a trap on bridge and pull to that.

then pet tanked far mob while i ran in and blew the cart. most satisfying.

ps: no way to sneak in to camp w/out aggroing the whole deal so u need to deal with it from the bridge IMHO

yes very easy, just solo'd it as a 29 lock
didnt even die once, the most you should have to pull at a time is 2.
only had to kill 4 mobs, all low 30's (highest mob was lvl 32)

Easy quest... I did it with my lvl 29 Druid. Go to the middle of the bridge (Coordinates: 51/9) and then you will see an entrance on the right side. Get in, kill the two Dark Irons and then you will see the body of Rustloke on the groung. Click at him and leave.

As a lvl 30 rogue, this was ridicculously easy. Just jump in the water, theres a place on the nort-eastern bank where you can get out and you can get at them from behind. Pulled three of them, one at a time, and got close enough to the wagon to explode it without the others noticing. Poof, done. No need for pets or potions. :D

Easy quest. I have done this and the first part solo as a 29 rogue. You just need to have no CD and 2 healing pots ^^ I did it and the highest is 32 killed 5 people.

theres an easy way to do this quest, but you need two people, i did it with a mage friend (me, rogue 29, him mage 28) he ran into the camp getting all the dwarves follow him, and i blew the thing easily.

and its pretty funny jumping from the cliff into the water :)

There is actually another way in. If you jump into the water and head east from the bridges there is a path leading up the mountain at around 57,7. Not only does this get you in, it gets you in closer to the cart of explosives and you can do less fighting. :)

The dwarves guarding the explosives are not elite like the ones on the bridge so don't be scared to go in with only 1 or 2 groupmates.

Pretty easy to solo as a lvl30-ish hunter.
Eyes of the Beast - send the pet in, run around in circles, draw aggro.
Then, while they're all distracted, sneak in and blow the explosives, then run...

I had some real problems with this as a 29 druid. Both the mobs closest to the cart where level 32 so I started out by rooting the melee, hoping it would last until I had killed the caster. Unfortunately I wasn't getting any luck and had to face them both pretty much the whole fights and being 3 levels lower didn't help any either. Many misses and glancing hits and it took me 6 tries until I managed to get the caster down, then I died because the melee-mob had gotten loose pretty early. Corpseran and blew up the cart.

The caster did some nasty damage with his shadowbolt + he puts an immolate up on you. Add that with the melee's crushing blow and you'll have some trouble if you're not lucky.
