Description

Something is amiss here in Stonetalon. Can you feel the tension in the air, <name>?

Southeast of here lies a deep cave in Boulderslide Ravine. The kobolds there are frantically mining a rare crystal called Resonite. I need you to bring back some ore samples so that I can understand what's happening in that cave. I also need you to investigate the depth of that cave.

Go young <class>, it's imperative I know what evil lurks under these mountains.

The cave is at the very back of the ravine, there are a few types of monsters in it, casters and melee.&nbsp The monsters respawn VERY quickly (2-3 minutes I would say) and there are many of them, so it is more fun with a group but easily soloed.&nbsp The good news about the respawn is that the crystals respawn fast too, so you don't have to go far to get 10.

The other aspect of the quest "explore the cave" just means to get to where you can see the pool of water and what is across it, so go straight ahead that far.

the Cave is 62, 92

To find Mor you have to go up the path in Sunrock Retreat, that leads up into the mountains. Then turn left hes there with some water elemental.

You finish investigating when you reach near the water.

The guys in the cave are pretty strong I did this at lvl 20 and I died once, as a shaman. They have an instant 100 dmg earth shock.

THERE ARE 2 CAVES - THE RIGHT CAVE IS AT 62, 92
IN ONE OF THE CAVES THERE IS NOTHING AT ALL ITS JUST EMPTY.! THATS TH WRONG ONE

(62, 91) may be the coords for the cave itself but the confusion lies in getting there.

There's a path off the main road beside a signpost at approximately (67,86). Follow it back to the actual coordinates of the cave entrance.

61.93 is the actual entrance to the cave, 67.86 is the entrance to the ravine.

None Cosmos directions, from Malaka 'Jin take the main road NW going through Grimtotem Post until you reach a side road.&nbsp There's a sign that points you to pertanent locations in Stonetalon, hang a left there.&nbsp Follow the road and take the cave on the right up the hill.

Go into the cave and just run forward until you come to some water, walk in the water and then collect the crystals.

After you got the quest from the tauren upside a hill south for Sun Rock Retreat head south along the path. When you are near Malaka'Jin look to the right and you will discover a path leading you to the ravine. Follow the path and head to the right when youre inside the ravine. Then have fun attacking the kobolds. They respawn quick and the resonite crystals too. If youre rogue use stealth so you can discover the cave. When you reach a lake you discovered the cave. On the island in the lake there are plenty of resonite crystals you can pick up without being attacked by kobolds. Get your hearthstone ready and use it to get out of the cave.

Done it as a lv. 18 UD rogue.

The entrance to the path is just before you exit Sun Rock at 46,63.&nbsp The path climbs and he's in a hut at 46,65.

I found that I could do the quest more easily as a druid because I could "prowl" and walked to the water to do the 'investigate the cave' part of the quest. Then I killed a few mob at the front of the cave and mined the crystals there. The crystals 'respawn' quite quickly and I got all 10 just at the entrance to the cave without having to kill more than 10 mobs. I found that I could not effectively pull the mob without having the entire cave swarm around me.

I did what was mentioned about going southh slightly, looked EVERYWHERE. Cant find the guy anywhere!

As i was paddling in the water the far end I looked at the quest and it said I had explored the cave. Didn't see anything before that. Just headed straight there and didn't explore anywhere else so think all you need to do is get in the water then check the quest box.

Try leaving the Malaika'Jin Village heading left along the path towards Sun Rock. After a short distance turn left up a small ravine. You will see the Kobolds and the mine up there on the right hand side.

I hadn't had any problem with the quest but you have to go through EVRY corner of the cave till you've got a V behind that subject of the quest.

This quest is not worth doing, difficult to solo pull mobs, and if you die, the whole cave will have respawned before you have run back

the crystals are on a very fast respawn timer. so you really don't need to hunt them down. just stick to the ones in the area you are most comfortable with. in fact if not for the investigating part, you wouldn't even need to go to the water.

if you follow the obvious route you go past a pool and up a ramp to a platform. what you want to do is drop down the hole at the base of the ramp up to that platform then go down to a cave. This iw where the next quest - Earthen Arise

I've collected the 10 crystals, but i cna't complete the exploration part of the quest. I thought i had gone deep enough in the cave but it doesn't seem so.
