no one died, although it was really hard. I would suggest to cast the Power Word: Shield before starting the quest.

If you have thought previously, the charms that destroy elementals don't work with the ones that Myzrael summons, so the best advice is carrying some health potions.

1-. Right click on the summoning scroll. Myzrael will appear, and she will atack.
2-. Once she is dead, get the bracers from her corpse. You need them in order to use the stone of the myzrael circle.
3-. Once you have them, right click on the stone, and you will get a nice necklace and 7100 exp points.

With a caster-only group you're gonna need to be close to lvl 50 to have a chance. With 2 45 shamans and mid-to-low 40s priest and warlocks, she's going to resist practically everything you throw at her. Wait a couple lvls or get some melee members in your party. She's not immune to Horde :)

Focus on the Princess and ignore the elemental minions until she is dead because she will continue to summon more and more of them if you focus on them.

The quest reward is total garbage given the chain you have to go through to get to the end and the difficulty of the end kill, but the XP makes up for it. I was lvl 52 when I turned in the last portion and got 7000xp for the turn-in. And you get thousands more turning in the other steps leading up to this.

I must add that she's immune to fear, really annoying as a warlock

Myzrael has been nerfed drastically with 2.3. If you skipped this quest because of bad memories, how hard it was (and it was), try it again.

Careful with her, will take 3 or 4 people to kill her, healer suggested. Spawns a random mini-elemental that do not despawn when she dies. Elemental dismissal charms found at the Circle's will help. Found at the Shard of Myzrael.

She is not level 50 elite anymore,she is level 44 elite now =)

I'm not in a guild and my server is relatively new, so I couldn't get anyone to group with for this quest. I decided to get it over with at level 54.

She spawns a lot of elemental adds. I was using an owl that has the Screech ability (AoE attack power debuff), but the elementals seem to attack whatever the princess attacks instead of having independant aggro. When my pet died I activated Aspect of the Cheetah and started kiting.

The elemental adds seem to run at about the same speed as the princess, who is immune to stuff like concussive shot. After the princess died I used Feign Death, which made some elementals run away and some disappear. I looted the shackles and went back to the summoning spot to claim my exp and reward (apparently the elementals despawned).

I had just read all the posts here about failed kiting. I thought I had no chance, but if you are a good kiter its really not very hard. She was only lvl 43 or 44 for me. I forgot to time the fight but it was at least 5 minutes. Specced 2/34/3 at the moment, finishing off improved aspect of the hawk.

To start I used the scroll at max range from the shards, then ran when she spawned. She spawns freindly to you, then quickly starts chasing you. I had trueshot aura and aspect of the cheater, as well as track beasts so I could easily avoid the raptors and spiders around the field.

I marked her, and as soon as she was in range I tossed a serpent sting and distracting shot (to make sure my pet didnt get aggro), sent my pet in (with growl off), started running and cast another distracting shot just to make sure.

She spawns an amazing amount of elementals, There can be at least 8-10 at once, quite intimidating. I strafed counter clockwise in a big circle between the shards and the road to hammerfall, re-applying serpent sting every 15 seconds and using rank 1 arcane shot everytime it was up to keep her tapped.

Unfortunately the water elementals kept frostnovaing my pet so I had to keep whistling for her throughout the fight and sending her in. I occaisionally dropped a frost trap when I was headed in a straight line to make the adds drop back a bit.

I had a few close calls with running into the grey beasts in the field but beast tracking helped a lot. At ~25% this 44 warrior rode up and watched as a horde of elementals with a huge giant lady chased me, at ~20% he tried to help me and somehow while the princess still chased me ALL the elementals went straight for him and wtfpwned him. At first I thought this was a good thing, but since he made such a big gap between the adds and the boss I had to make course adjustments.

At around 5% I turned around and started using highest rank arcane shots and mulit-shot. She went down fast but then a spider dazed me while there were still 10+ elementals coming for me, I feigned death, but they went for my pet... so I took off and came back for the shackles.

As of patch 2.3, Myzrael is a 44 elite, ignore the color of the quest in your log. Easily soloable by a 46 hunter, the adds she summons are 1 hit kills. 10.2 k experience =].

This quest starts in arathi highlands... you must go to the northen part of arathi above dalries farmstead then talk to a large floating crystal... everypart after that is easy to do explained in each quest

She is a level 44 Elite with adds. You can easly do her with 2 people if both is 41+. She doesent hit hard and she would be soloable if the adds would be gone. Bring 2 people and set one on her and one on adds and she will go down in no time. Before she was Suggested players 5 and now she is only Suggested players 2 so she is absolutely nerfed.

The summon place are around 61,35 in Arathi Highlands.

(NPC #2755) does everyone keep saying she's lv.42 when her pic here VERY clearly shows she is 50. Am I missing something?

Soloed as a 46 affliction lock with only about 130 +damage. Tried it a few times drain tanking her and kiting her, neither with much luck due to adds so I tried a straight up blueberry tank and that worked fine.

Sent him in and dotted her up with immo, CoA, corruption and SL and just kept those dots up, no shadowbolts or drains so he wouldn't lose aggro. Each time an add popped just threw a corruption on it and it died. My pet got pretty low when she was at 5-10% so just in case I sacrificed him and drain tanked the last few %. She was dead already but with no pet and my bubble gone I assumed I was dead to the adds although I had a soulstone so figured I'd just loot after but after a few seconds of the surviving adds beating on me I realized they were only doing 10-15 damage each on cloth so were cake to clean out even without a pet.

Easy solo as a Lv 46 Feral, didn't even drop below 60% HP without heal. The adds have very low HP (like 100) and literally die in one swipe. When she summons the mass adds at 20% just keep swiping until they're all gone. Interestingly, she's not immune to nature spells.

Blizzard never bothered to adjust the quest level when they nerfed their mobs. She used to be Lv 50 Elite and that's still what the quest level implies (50 Group). Very easy Exp.

I'm sorry that ya'll hate this quest so much, but I personally find it hilarious that you can get it at 38 and are expected to kill a mob that a 60 would probably struggle with...

OK, like so many others I messed up by getting there and getting stuck in the logic that I needed to use the shard to summon her.

You summon her with the scroll in your inventory, (reading it helps figure that out,) then you loot the shackles and can cash the quest in with the shard.

I'm a level 56 undead shadowpriest atm, and I figured I'd try soloing her. If she was a level 50 elite, I shouldn't have too much problems taking her down. She turned out to be a 44 gold-elite, which only means she has a lot of HP and does a bit more damage..

After about 10 seconds, her first elemental spawned (had her on about 80% hp). Then 5-10 sec a new one spawned. And a new one. And a new one, and a new one, and a new one... When I died, I had no possibility of casting spells, there were 10++ elementals constantly hitting at me.

It was 8AM so the server was empty, my friends list was empty, etc, etc.. and the scroll disappeared from inventory.. I've had that scroll for almost 1 month now, so I really don't remember where and how I got it.. Can someone please tell me that, I hate having unfinished quests (and I hate abandoning them even more)...

As for if you want to do this quest:
Either you need to be someone with aoe and healing (+ highlevel, preferably my level or higher).. I have high dps (240) and I can heal myself, but I don't have any aoe spells, so I can't do this alone. My suggestion is a party of 3 if you're level 50s (warrior, priest, mage). If you're not that high level, go for more party members (aoe for the win, so add 1 more mage and 1 healer (random)..

I just killed the Princess with a lvl 44 Warrior, 59 warrior, and a lvl 60 Druid... No Problems

Just as a side note: Myzrael summons lv 43 elementals to help her (no limit to # of spawns out apparently), so unless you are too high to do this quest in the first place, go find a party.

people plz your not all looking at the picture here. the quests are never just bout the rewards blizzard designed it to make u travil gain exp,explore, get reputations,knowledge not just lootage.to much people think that a quest or mob drop or stone turned over should always generate an uber item.

Ok, i've defeated her, got the shackles but can't figure out how to bind the shackles to the shard. the little gear comes up when i mouse over it, but it does not turn gold. What am i doing wrong?

I did the quest with a lvl 60 Warlock, and myself (lvl 43 paladin).
Healed the lock 1 time,
Healed myself 2 times,
casted lay on hands on myself,
drank 1 suprior healing potion.

AND DANG DEAD WAS SHE!

7100xp at lvl 43

I solo'ed this as an lv 54 warlock , let my felgaurd tank here and the mobs , when she died I ran away , waited for adds 2 remove and grab the shackles.

Im a lvl 44 paladin and ill be doing it tonight. sounds like it shouldnt be too bad with a couple mid 40s paladins, and maybe 2 hunters.

well, went to do this quest at lvl 49 with a lvl 49 pet and all i can say is i wish i had her HP...whacked her till both my pet and myself died (about 30sec) did some nice 500crits and only took her down about 1/2 a centimeter...definitely an endurance mob :/

Subject says it all. The Item is nothing even close to the level elite you have to take down and the amount of time you spend on the entire series of this quest. The only reason to do this quest is to travel to other locations and to get XP while grinding and finishing quests anyways.

So in summary:
Good XP overall.
Forces you to get Badlands flight path (If Horde)
Bad End Reward.

so... whats the story behind this quest chain? why are we to summon her only to have to destory her later?

The 42 dude at the end of the first part wasn't much of an issue with a few buddies.

I've yet to get this one, but it sounds like an Alliance thing. Is it?
