Last night I figured out the wrong way to do this quest. It was myself (36 mage), a 41 Warlock and with a 38 Druid (Kinelory), so you'd think that it would be a piece of cake. Well it was until we got to the house ... and it was empty. There were quite a few people camping the Forsaken Courier down there that night and apparently they'd finished off the Apothecary and Courier shortly before we got there. After a moment or so, everything respawned inside the house with us and we suddenly had six 35+ enemies to fight. It got ugly ... I nuked until I had no mana, then died ... quest failed. Next time I'll make sure there's no one around camping the Courier before trying this.

I did this one by killing off some of the orcs first that r down the hill, and around were the quest is. The ones for the quest will respawn when u go up to start this part but there wont be as many extras to jump u. Get a bow or something to pull mobs to u, don't let her get ahead she aggroes everything. if its 2 mobs, easy kills, if 3, gets scary, 4 and 5 and she or u might die. So try to thin the heard first, then start it, and pull mobs to u with the Bow or whatever u have.

Best Escort Quest Ever. Kinelory has an awesome AI as she heals you, herself and tanks in bear form. She's a HealBear!

Unfortunately, either it was bugged for me or this quest has become very hard, the Courier and her bodyguards now have an insanely short respawn timer and don't patrol anymore, they respawn immediately after you kill them making it very hard to complete.

Kinelory also had a fairly long respawn timer of 5-10 minutes.

It's a good idea to clear the area directly beneath Kinelroy (60,55) before you begin the escort quest, as two orcs will ambush her there.

What to do if you fail:

Go to your questlog and abandon the quest. Quae will reappear where she was standing before and you can redo the quest!

Funny thing, nearing the house with the undead guy, she finally pulled four mobs, then aggroed two more when one ran off. She was at 1/4 health, and I pulled all the aggro I could.. then couldn't pull it off. Died.

Ran back, thinking I was going to restart... (remember that I left her with 4 mobs?) and she just finished the fourth one off, at about 2/3's of her life.. and kept walking. Completed the quest fine.

Just thought that was so funny, she is a good fighter.

(Note: She is a druid, with bear form, will regen you, it's all kind of nice.)

I echo the remarks on this being easy. She's a Druid, and casts the appropriate level Druid Heal Over Time on you when you get hurt( Rejuvenation, around 304 damage over 12 seconds), and takes most of the aggro when things fight her, plus she's very tough, and most likely won't die. Very nice for an escort quest. If only all other escort quests were like this, with your escortee being so hard to die, and actually giving heals to YOU, instead of the reverse.

I don't think you can die at this quest.Mean it's not possible when Kinelory heal you/her self, cast Bear form and he make somewhere like 80-90 damage.Quest is realy easy solo and will be much easy to kill the orks with her.

I soloed this one as a 32 priest, quite easily.

Remember, only ever heal her when she needs it, because she can more or less support herself with her heals. You should only need to heal when you get attacked by 3 mobs and at the apothecary. The only damage you do is some occasional dots, and some damage on the mob she is attacking when you pull 3. Otherwise, save mana for heals. This should work, if you need to, you can also jump out and mana drink at sometimes.

Ok, so I think this quest is now bugged.
Besides the fact that she vanished on me once, the forsaken bodyguards now respawn as soon as they're killed, so unless you are a much higher level and can kill them really fast, you won't be able to even get into the house.

By Surprincess on 12/09/2007 (Patch 2.3.0)
Well, the quest started well and we were killing all the orchs without pain, peace of cake. Then the forsaken courrier spawned exactly at the same time. We got them all down (good!) but the courrier and her guards spawned AGAIN (bad!) and that made it. They really spawn right after you have killed them so if you see them spawning just give up and abandon the quest without trying if you're not a high lvl.

i did the part before this and then immediately ran up and started this part. everything was going just find until we get to the house with the courier and the bodyguards outside. we manage to take down all the body guards and courier and immediately they respawned again. by this time i was half health half mana (41 mage). we took down the body guards and guess what...they respawn AGAIN! i just turned tail and ran. ill take the above advice and do something else then come back to this.

Did it with a 32 Warlock. Used the Void to tank, I probably shouldn't have since she can tank pretty good, but who knows she might have died. The void died half way through, and you can't heal/restore mana/summon since she moves as soon as you kill one. The most I got on me was 4, hardly made it, but she heals well.

I found this very easy to complete on my 36 Shadow Priest. Kinelory is an awesome druid, changing to bear form and casting her HOTs when injured. She never casted on me, and I was taking quite a bit of hate. Luckily, she barely takes a scratch, as I died and came all the way back while she was still fighting orcs at full health!

This was the smoothest escort quest I've ever done. Only problem besides dying was the named mob that spawned inside the house (I wanna say like, 'Apothecary Julen' or something along those lines)... but he went down fast. :)

Did it by 32 holy priest, mostly heald myself, she did the last. The only problem was that i aggroed mobs much further than she did, so once i had to stand being attacked by 2 ogres 35 while she was killing another couple, but we did it)

THE BODYGUARDS AND COURIER RESPAWN TOO FAST TO COMPLETE THE QUEST

getting to the house is not hard, but once there, the respawn rate for the undead was about 60 seconds, no joke. i cant even count the number of waves i fought through hoping to complete the quest... i spent about 20 minutes inside that house before abandoning the damn thing.

even if you manage to kill all four bodyguards and the courier before any of them respawn, with how slow your escort walks youll inevtiably have to fight a new wave.

My friend and I did this quest today. As mentioned above the courier and his guards were at the end house.

I'm not kidding when I say they are on a 10 second respawn timer. Hardly enough time to grab a bite and a drink. We must have fought 8 or 9 full respawns before Kinelroy managed to get far enough away for us not to aggro the respawns. We were also getting added mobs engaging us at the same time.

When I say that it was completely insane I'm not even slightly joking. However, the XP we got was superb and it was one of the most epic fights I've ever had, so in that respect it was made of glorious win.

Just don't try to do this one alone, don't say I didn't warn you because if that courier and his guards are at the end house you are toast!

This is a must do quest though and is now one of my favourites as we were simply 'WTF' the whole time at the end, we so thought we were going to die :)

You will get multiple mobs, but i was able to solo it at level 37 as a warlock..

She is a good fighter, but you need to pay particular attention to the mobs she is on..

These guys run real quick, and if she gets one down low, he will run off and she will follow, meaning the mob or her will aggro others.. maybe way to many.. (like 10 or so, sometimes.. ugh).. so kill em quick. I used my blue meanie to hold off the aggro while I helped her with dots and nukes..

And you wont have much time to regen.. but if you keep other with her and keep runners from bringing in assists u will find time to regen a bit here and there.

At the end, just run with her, she doesnt stop to fight if u dont.. we outran the aggro.

good luck.

I died thanks to 5 mobs at once on this one. I tried to pull the aggro from her and succeeded. So, I'm ticked an reconsidering how to do it on the next try. Last I saw Kin, she was running through the field with 5 mobs on her. I get back to my corpse, and she was finishing off the last one in the field! She killed like 8 and was barely touch. Just rez - use the last mob or two as a chance to heal and regen mana as needed. Then we resumed and rocked the rest of the quest.

Moral of the story - let her get the aggro and you don't die. She can handle it. If you do die, get back to your corpse as you can still finish the quest as she's a major tank.

Very fun quest. Did it as 34 rogue. It is easier if you have some sort of way to slow the enemies down, as they run like mad. I used crippling poison and we owned them. She is very good, almost did more damage than me. Fun quest, good luck with it!

just solo'd this as a 36 lock. very chalenging. but did it the first shot. i would go ahead of her and start fighting them off. she can hold her own. her track takes her around the back and all the way to the southern shack. that is where the undead is. or where the courier starts at. good exp by the end

This is an excellent and very easy quest, soloed with my 34 rogue.

You simply gotta stay in front of her and pull the nearby grunts so that she can back you up and heal.
Dont let too many attack her.
Overall, piece of cake.

I make no secret about how much I abhor escort quests. To be honest, when I saw that's the next stage in the chain, I almost ended it right there. Lucky for me I read these prior posts first. This quest was a blast!

She's a very capable fighter, and manages to pull off being both tank and healer, something I have only seen a real player pull off twice, but never this capably.

This was a cake walk for my Lvl 36 pally. She healed herself and me, and once during a 4 mob attack, my health went down to about 50%, but she kept the aggro, so I was able to bandage instead of Holy Light and save my mana. As a pally, all you really have to do is pay attention to which mob she's smacking around and cast Judgement of Justice on them so they don't run away. That's it. You can even loot while she's battling it out. just make sure you hit each orc at least once, so it'll be lootable. Once, just for the hell of it, I ran and aggroed a couple of more just for the loot, came back to her and we smacked em down. I did use one mana potion and one bandage throughout the whole thing.

As mentioned earlier, she won't stop running on the second part unless you start fighting. The only trick to completing this quest is making sure she doesn't run too far ahead of you. If she's pulling too far ahead, find and aggro the nearest orc and she'll come to your rescue.

My only advice: Whatever movement limiting abilities your class has, be it JoJ, Frost Nova, Hamstring, concussive shot, whatever... USE IT. She'll do most of the fighting for you. Your job is just to make sure they don't bolt.

If you fail the escort quest you do NOT have to start the whole chain again. I failed it the first time because Kinelory ran too far ahead of me. Later I came back to her starting spot and she was there. I think she takes about 10 mins to come back.

This was easy, I completed this on a lvl 34 paladin. Never needed to heal her because she didnt have any agro most the time (like 2 mobs when I had 4 on me). I used 1 pot for mana because I had to keep debuffing mobs. She healed me every once and a while. This mission shouldnt be called lvl 36 it should be 35 at most.
