Hints of a New Plague?

Speak to Kinelory.

Description

<Quae begins to go through the folder.>

This IS interesting. Seems Apothecary Jorell has been working on some deadly experiments here at Go'Shek. Not sure what that has to do with Hillsbrad, but Phin wouldn't like it if we let it continue.

We had a run-in with some orcs while you were gone, and I'm not in good enough shape to help Kinelory. If you're up for it, she's going to need some protection when she goes down to the farm to steal whatever research Jorell still hasn't sent to Tarren Mill.

Ok, she will march to the left and down into the farm. Once in the farm she will walk along the base of the cliff until the silos. From there she will cut across the farm to the first building on the left if you were to enter by the road.

As she walks this path there will spawn some orcs to block her way along with the regular spawns in the area.

Once she kills the apothecary and gets back to the road she will run back to her point of origin. Be sure to keep up with her, if you get too far behind in an escort quest you will not get credit at the end.

I read the comment of the poster above just after failing the q! You really have to make sure she's near you, if some one attacks wait until she's fighting too or she'll keep walking, you kill the mob and she's too far away and as a result of that you fail the q. Great isn't it?

Don't bother killing off the Orc Grunts near the farm silos in Killroy's path, those guys respawn as she gets there even if you just killed them (watched 2 groups do this before I got my turn).&nbsp
However, it is a good idea to kill the Orc Peons in the barn, and in the field near the barn they dont respawn when Killroy approaches.

Killroy pretty much takes care of herself, best way to help is to keep mana up and use a wand or spell that doesnt aggro the Orc into coming at you. (lvl 34 Mage when I did this).&nbsp Used my wand mostly, with a few CoC & FS when the Orcs tried to run off for help.&nbsp

Worst part was on the way back to finish the quest Fozruk the Giant chased me because he & minions were walking by.

Solo'd this as a lvl 34 hunter.

No pre-cleaning of the mobs required. Just make sure to keep your pet on a leash and keep an eye out on the girl's health as she fights her way through the mobs. I tried to juggle aggro between my pet and her to be able to put out consistent DPS.

Bandage the girl after the turn when 4 orcs jump her and drink/eat as soon as she starts walking to always be at full health and mana.

This wasn't hard at all.

Pro-tip: Start this quest when you've verfied that the courier and her entourage have spawned and started walking off...

I just did this as a lvl 37 warrior.&nbsp was pretty easy.&nbsp Dont worry about having to keep up with her.&nbsp Loot the bodies, she can handle herself.&nbsp Just help her after she pulls them.&nbsp Make sure to have a Superior Healing Potion or something better, cause u will need to heal once. also, if u take more damage then that, just step back and let her fight.&nbsp if u let her pull them, they will focus on her and u can step back and heal. Was easy.&nbsp Good xp, easy escort.&nbsp Just make sure the courier has already spawned and left like others have said.

Solo'd as level 36 feral druid.

NPC was actually v. helpful in fight. Big mobs I bear formed to tank, growled at any target hitting her to get them to hit me instead. As long as there's only one-two things hitting her, she will survive because she can both heal (herself and you) and go into bear form also when fighting. Only got into one hard spot and it was my fault - had to use a potion instead of my usual healing skills.

Actually fairly easy. I was surprised. :)

Things never go smooth for me >< Somehow I lived.

Just after coming down the slope.. Killing a single mob here and there... She warns that this is when it gets tricky... Or something similar. Heh. Let the chaos begin. She, me, we somehow aggrod and aquired 4 orcs on us. I was still a 36 lock. .. Scary. We won, though I lost my void. I quickly bandaged and summoned a new void just in time for her to get jumped again. No prob. 2 more adds... no prod. 2 MORE? Holy crap!

I fought my brains out, lost two voids, almost died, yet I won.

Fighting the "key" mob was easy compared to my last two battle royals >< And made it back with little to no trouble.

Moral? Nothing for me is ever easy =/

was a little bit tricky when they'd run away and get reinforcements... so at one time we had 8 people on us, i ran out of mana and actually had to run away to regenerate..
when i came back she was still alive somehow, then we killed the person in the house.. Running back was extremely easy compared to going in...

Yeah...follow her. The spawns are about 34/35 but if you're 38 with a pet this is no problem. You see them before she does! Just target them before her and keep well back. However, she says in the house after killing the Apoth..."we'll just run for it" but she runs through monsters and then goes back to fight them. Be aware....do fight the monsters and don't just go chasing after her. My idea of 'run for it' is just that...no stopping until monsters run out of steam. However, she goes back every time. Mop up behind her, she'll come back to help and you'll find it even easier than I did!

Wasn't sure how difficult this would be as a L39 NE R, so just before accepting the quest, I cast a Scroll of Protection II on myself, became "well fed" for extra stamina and strength, then accepted the quest.

Followed behind in stealth mode en route to Jorell's house. Things got intense at least once when three Orcs engaged Kinelory. Was able to hit them from behind with Backstab and take them out. Continued to house w/o incident (only pulling one mob at a time), Kinelory grabbed the goods, then literally took off.

Had to unstealth to keep up. Only hit one mob on the way back up the ridgeline, just before the link up with Quae. Probably didn't need the Scroll of Protection...but it was good insurance.
