Northfold Manor

Kill 10 Syndicate Highwaymen and 6 Syndicate Mercenaries.

Return to Captain Nials at Refuge Pointe.

Description

We are fighting a war for Stromgarde, and we are losing. The ogres, the Syndicate and we have divided our once great city, and each faction battles the other into a bloody stalemate.

But our forces dwindle while our enemy grows.

We need help from the town of Southshore, but supplies are difficult to receive while the Syndicate holds territory between us.

Go to the Syndicate base in Northfold Manor and slay them. Then, perhaps, pressure on our supply trains will lessen and more will get through.

Northfold Manor is on the eastern side of the road when you head towards Hillsbrad. After you pass Stromgarde (on your left/west), the path splits with a dirt path (to your right/east). You'll walk along with raptors abound, and eventually find Northfold Manor.

Northfold Manor is a crucial position in the battle for Stromgarde, as whoever controls it, also controls the trade between Southshore / Tarren Mill and Stromgrade Keep. At the moment the Syndicate are in control, preventing valuble supplies from reaching Stromgrade and Refuge Pointe.

15-20 min quest from pick up to drop off as a 30 paladin.&nbsp I Just followed the road and got 3 highwaymen on the way.&nbsp They are spread out enough where you take them 1 on 1, and you'll see them (stealthed) before they see you.&nbsp I then got 2 more highwaymen by the windmill and 2 mercenaries.&nbsp I entered the farm w/ the cows(safe zone).&nbsp And picked off 4 more mercenaries.&nbsp Then I ran back towards the the path for the windmill, got the same 2 highway as I came in, and the same other 3 as I left out on the road. Pretty freakin' easy. You take them all 1 on 1 and I didn't fight anyone higher than lvl 33, and those didn't even take me to half HP.&nbsp I just made sure I Judged each of them w/ Seal of Justice first so they couldn't flee and grab more buddies.&nbsp Easily do able for a 30 Paladin, just take them one at a time which is NOT a problem at all.

Right past Storm guard keep, east for Refuge Point. There is a road to the right side, follow it and youll end up in a farm.

this quest is as easy as walking left from the horde outpost ... ya just hope no allies kill you.

oh i counted.... 1032 tauren steps west of the horde outpost exactly.

This is the easiest quest for a hunter, i did it in 15 mins, from getting it to completion. If you are a hunter wait until lvl 32 then you get flare. Go there and use Stealth Detection and Flare to see the stealthed Highwaymen. Then when you kill em all jus run back. This was the easiest quest ever! ( if you know where the freakin manor is, i spent half an hour tryin to find the place lol)&nbsp &nbsp : )

I dont know why everyone says highwaymen are hard to find. I just headed down the main path and had 7 before i got to the farm.

i found it extremely useful when the area seemed a little to empty to tap the "tab" button... it will highlight any hidden highwaymen so you dont get ganked.

Although, this will only work if you're a couple levels higher.

Soloed this as a level 31 warlock with my voidstalker. Not hard. Detect invisibility really made finding the highwaymen simple

Leaving Refuge Pointe turn right on the road. Head past Stromgarde on the road. Its the first right after Stromgarde.

not too surprising the highwaymen are on the road going in and out of stealth.

if u are a hunter put your pet on aggressive and he will find them. they dont pull together.

in the building farthest from the where you first get to the farm, are a couple of mobs in the back room that aggro together and bring a big guy w them . dont go in if u are a solo. you can kill plenty around the buildings, and didnt get one multiple pull in the whole crew.

The ones i met, was lvl 35 all of them(Courier and 4 guards), met them with my 33 pala.
Just attacked the courier directly, with my Corpsemaker. No probs getting her down. Bubbled at 20% health, bandaged up and killed her.
Rest of em got me, but pretty easy none the less.
Found her at 24,45.
But she can be anywhere between Go'Shek farm and Tarren Mill.

The Highwaymen are along the outside of the area, they're stealthed. The Mercenary's aren't stealthed, you'll find them around the just along the outside of the field of the cows. They run and get help when they're about to die. If you're a warrior, keep some rage built up and use execute as soon as you can to keep them from getting help, cuz that just turns into a pain sometimes.
