Earn an Honored faction with the Hydraxian Waterlords, then talk to Duke Hydraxis in Azshara.

Description

If you truly wish an allegiance with us, then I invite you to wage war on our foes, the servants of air and earth and fire. Each defeat you heap upon them will weaken their foothold here, and further prove your adherence to our cause.

The campaign will be long, but if you persevere then your glory and honor will be great.

I wouldn't exactly say you get "hundreds" of rep points from each kill in MC, but rather it's more like tens. I think I receive between 20 and 50 rep points per kill of Molten Giants, Ancient Core Hounds, Lava Surgers, and Firelords. This is with a full 40-man raid group and at lvl 60. Not sure if these latter facts make a difference on reputation received, but those are the numbers I have received. I think domo and the other bosses gave me about 200 or so...possibly as high as 400, but I can't remember.

Killing elementals will give u&nbsp 5 rep per kill until 5999/6000 friendly now.&nbsp It no longer stops at 3000.&nbsp This is as of 12/14/06.&nbsp This quest is part of a thread for MC to fight a boss

1a Poisoned Water (kill things in EPL)
1b Stormers and Rumblers (kill things in Sithilus)
2 Eye of the Emberseer (kill the fire elemental in UBRS)
3 THe Molten Core (kill some trash)
4 Agent of Hydraxis (get honroed rep)
5 Hands of the Enemy (kill 4 bosses)
6 A Hero's Reward (go get your ring)

It's typically 22 rep points per general kill in MC.AnThe elementals in Silithus give 5 reputation points for this until half into friendly (3000/6000)From there you eighter got to grind the Emberseer (20 points) or get to MC reputation runs

If you have 5999/6000 friendly with Hydraxian Waterlords, you need to kill 1 in MC to get Honored!

Obviously not a good source of rep, but when I was about 500/6000 rep. into friendly, and at level 60, killing Lord Incendius gave me 11 rep. points with the Hydraxian Waterlords. Not sure if he qualifies to give rep. after the halfway mark, but since he isn't a good source of rep. anyways, it's not a huge deal.

I somehow got 25 rep with these guys, and I haven't even really BEEN to Silithus yet, nor have I talked to this guy or anything.&nbsp I just noticed I had faction with them and wondered where it came from, so I ran a Anonymous search.&nbsp The only thing I can think of is either elementals EPL, which makes no sense because they are water, or something in BRD.&nbsp Incendius maybe?&nbsp Or maybe that fire giant, Bael'Gar?&nbsp Those are the only types of elementals in the 50s I killed, unless elementals in the Searing Gorge also count.&nbsp I killed some of them today, too.

EDIT:&nbsp Okay, upon further examination of this guy and the quests he gives, one quest IS to kill water elementals in EPL because they are affected by the plague, so maybe just killing them straight up gave me rep ...

In MC you gt 22 from Molten Giants (Level 62), 44 from Molten Destroyers (Level 63) and from bosses I think it was 110. Anyway, yesterday we killed 3 bosses and in total I got about 900 reputation.

I have confirmed that you can also kill lord incendius in Blackrock Depths for the point to get bumped to honored. No need to get a raid group and do a UBRS run just for one reputation point - you can do BRD up to incendius with a couple of friends in less than 30 minutes.&nbsp

Has anyone finished this yet? I got halfway done with friendly faction and the silithis mobs stoped giving me faction. Are there any other places besides MC to finish the faction? any info is appriciated thanks :-)

In reply to the post below, you can only get half the faction from Silithis Mobs or some of the rock mobs in Burning Steppes.

After that, you can gain faction from the Emberseer in UBRS or Molten Core. This is what I have found so far.

After 1.9 comes out you should be able to kill the random elementals all the way to honored, since they are changing how rep gain goes.
