Bring the Eye of the Emberseer to Duke Hydraxis in Azshara.

Description

You have shown me that you can defeat our enemies and perform missions to further the cause of the Waterlords. But until now you have only faced lesser foes... if pitted against a powerful enemy, can you prevail?

That is your new task.

High up in Blackrock Spire the orcs have captured a servant of fire, the Pyroguard Emberseer. Find his place of imprisonment, slay his captors, and then slay the emberseer. Bring me his eye and it will show me your worth.

If you've done Poisoned Water (https://classicdb.ch/?quest=6804) and Stormers and Rumblers (https://classicdb.ch/?quest=6805) then you can do these quests.

You need to do these quests to get Eternal Quintessence (https://classicdb.ch/?item=22754) which is used to dowse the runes in BC. It has a one hour cooldown and some bosses share rune so you don't need eight for Domo to appear.

The prereqs to this quest are "Poisoned Water" and "Stormers and Rumblers", given by the same guy.&nbsp Was misspelled by the OP.&nbsp But the info is accurate otherwise.&nbsp :-)

Please note that the quest is listed as taking place in Azshara, but the quest is done in UBRS - Why they didn't list it under black rock spire I'm not certain, but don't let that confuse you ---

Kill the first boss in UBRS loot the eye, go and turn in the eye to the hydraxian boss you got the quest from.

From there, it's just a matter of looting the fallen bosses in molten core and bring the hands of each of them to the hydraxian lord -- your faction increases each time with them and eventually you will get the choice between a couple of rings from the hydraxian waterlords.&nbsp Fire resist rings that have some stats.

If nothing else it's easy if your guild is raiding MC frequently, and the ring you choose is a nice addition for fire resist / stats.

This is simple! Go to ashara&nbsp &nbsp talk to the quest-giver.
Go to ubrs and kill the first boss&nbsp and then go back to ashara!

Does anyone know if this item disappears if you log out? I definitely looted the Eye off the boss. But when I went to turn it in a few days later, it was gone from my inventory and it's not in my bank. It's *possible* that I'm just a moron and destroyed it when I was trying to delete something else, but I really don't think that happened. Has anyone else seen this happen?

The quest line starts at Duke Hydras who is on a tiny island at 79,74 in Azshara - preq is Poisoned Water in which he gives you a vial which you use on the water elementals in EPL and collect 12 of their bracers. You must return the vial along with the bracers (don't ask how i know this)

He has a second quest called Stormers and Rumblers - not sure if you need it for this quest or not - did both quests but dropped the vial and had to do the Poisoned Water over - did not get the Eye quest until I handed in the vial and bracers - Stormers and Rumblers had been handed in previously.

it says that the QUEST is completet and I have an yellow dot on my minimap when iam close to him, and he has also a yellow questionmark over him, but still i cant give him the eye?

he says only iam worthy.. bla bla

This quest is from Duke Hydraxis, not Malyfous Darkhammer. If possible, this should be put on Hydraxis' page so that people know where it comes from.

This is a raid quest, I got this quest from Duke Hydraxis (NPC #13278) after doing his other 2 quests (which are the prereqs, NOT "hot fiery death"). Real easy to complete if you have this quest & do an upper blackrock spire run with others.
This leads to (Quest #6822) .

The faction with the Hydraxian Waterlords will make your guild being able to get Major Domo, only if 8 members have completed the full series you can get him.
