Corruption of Earth and Seed

Slay Princess Theradras and return to Selendra near Shadowprey Village in Desolace.
  •
Princess Theradras slain

Description

Deep in Maraudon lives an evil creature of chaos--Princess Theradras is an elemental force of earth related to the Old Gods. Ages ago, she and Zaetar, first son of Cenarius, began a relationship. The offspring of their time together became known to the people of Kalimdor as centaur. Ever-thankful creatures, the centaur killed Zaetar, and now hold Zaetar's remains. My quest here is to find those powerful enough to slay Theradras so we may recover Zaetar's remains before returning to Stonetalon.

They are right around 27,75

Basically as you leave town, look to the right and they are standing around a tree. it isnt even 30 yards away from town.

If you do this at 50ish, a mage and a hunter would be good to bring. Frost traps, sheeping, and all the AE nuking will be pretty important.

Did this with a group of:
49 rogue
49 paladin
51 shaman
50 hunter
50 warrior

Killed the Princess boss on our first try, noone died. But she hits very hard, especially with the attack that pushes you away.

To return the quest to Selendra, cords to her are 26, 77. If you don't use cords, open up the map, you'll see a mountain in between Shadowprey Village, and an open land area. She is in that open land area under the mountain. She is under a tree with 3 others.

If you don't know where Mara is, cords are 29, 64.
Again, no cords, open the map, it's the cave opening in 'Valley of Spears'.

Good luck :)

Just south of Shadowpray Village as you're leaving, when the road turns left you'll see the quest giver named Selendra near a tree to the right.&nbsp Hope that helps anyone looking for her.

She can be killed by 2 players.&nbsp My 59 hunter plus a 60 warlock were able to take her out.&nbsp She was no picnic but both of us survived our pets died but no big deal.&nbsp Our equipment was a mix of greens and blues with no epics.&nbsp

Eventually the warlock drew too much aggro by mistake and got chased all over the place while the pets chewed on her and I kept shooting the whole time.&nbsp Then she turned on our pets and killed them, then resumed chasing the warlock.&nbsp

She was immune to our stun and fear effects also she seemed to shed dots pretty fast.&nbsp She occasionally came after me with some kind of concussion effect and knocked me around but then went back after the pets and/or the warlock.

Just to let you know, this boss is incredibly hard. She looks like a big fat oger and every few seconds she uses an ability that blows everybody near her away and deals about 500 damage total each time. We had a 53 priest, 49 rogue, 51 shaman, 50 mage and a 48 warrior doing this and managed to kill her on our 3rd attempt with 2 members left alive. Good luck.

(60 priest) I've seen a video with a 60 priest soloing princess. They have made it tougher so i dont think we can anymore. But i've killed her twice with a 60 shammy and once with a 60 mage-.-so its doable with 2 ppl.

Directly south of shadow prey village, a 30 second walk away from the entrance. There stands a group of girl taurens. The one in the middle gives the quest

Hey some of my 60 friends were gonna take me through Mara, and I wanted to know if 2 levl 60 Shammies, and me (47 rogue) could do it, or if a levl 60 shammy, a levl 60 rogue, and me could do it.

P.S. Krillyn, you were probably in a raid group, and when you are in a raid, it wont let you do quests...

Ran this today with a group, the Princess is very difficult if your group is primarily lower than 50. Took my group three times before we killed her.

The quest drops three really nice items, a staff, a bow, and a one-handed sword. All of which are very strong weapons.

Did this at level 47 and gained 6600 experience for completing it.

I'm a lvl 50 Druid, Resto Tree Form, with a 48 Warrior, 51 Paladin, 53 Warlock, and a 48 Mage. Very easy to beat her.

I just kept handing out heals while the group layed down the big hurt. The fear-clone move didn't really stop us at all. I just healed whoever needed it, and then the tank went right up and grinded on her after it was done. No bigge, not hard at all.

Turned it in for the Resurgence Rod, but I dunno whether I'm gonna use it or sell it. I'm using Soulkeeper for everyday stuff/off-healer and Fist of Stone/Gaia's Scepter of Healing when I'm main Healer, so those pretty much cover all the bases. Might hold onto it just for recovering after a fight, but I dunno.

I tanked her at LVL 45 as a warrior with a 50ish priest, shammy, warlock, and mage. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. No one died and things went smothly. It's just too bad that I didn't have the quest at the time :(

They got me to come in as a tank before we went in. LOL

I just did this with no levels 50 or higher.&nbsp It's not too hard if you know what you're doing.&nbsp Just stay away from the aoe and make sure your healers have line of sight.&nbsp Remember that the aoe drops the tank's aggro, so let him get it back before everyone does dps again.

The group:

46 Shaman
46 Paladin
48 Warrior
49 Priest (me)
49 Rogue

I did dps.&nbsp The Shaman and Paladin both did healing.&nbsp We killed her with me and the paladin dead (I died due to line of sight issues, the paladin had healing aggro after the aoe).

All this means that it isn't too hard of a fight once you know what to do.&nbsp It certainly doesn't require a level 60 or more.&nbsp That's ridiculous.&nbsp

pretty hard quest for a 45 rogue - my reccomendation is to get a few high lvl guildies to do it ya.

Did this with me (LVL 45 UD Rogue), 47 Mage, 47 Druid as healer, 54 Shaman as tank, and 54 druid as seccondary tank.

The boss you have to kill is EXTREMELY hard, have lots of bandages and potions ready if your below 47.
