Description

In the depths of Maraudon lives a creature of chaos and evil, <name>. Princess Theradras is an elemental force of earth related somehow to the Old Gods. Ages ago, she was sought out by Zaetar, first son of Cenarius. The offspring of their... relationship are the creatures known as centaur. Ever-thankful creatures, the centaur killed Zaetar, and now Theradras keeps his remains. My quest here is to find those powerful enough to slay Theradras so we may recover Zaetar's remains before returning to Stonetalon.

Princess (the mob you need to kill for this quest) is a level 51 elite which hits pretty hard, has a lot of HP and does a fear attack as well. A balanced group is required to take her down, with at least a 50 tank and a good healer.

She drops very good stuff as you'll notice reading the appropriate page.

After Princess don't forget to jump down in the water to kill Rotgrip.

They screwed something up in the latest patch or something.

Died in my party while killing her, but the remainder took her down anyway.

And my quest log didn't show credit for killing the princess.

GMs didn't answer my call after 3 hours, I just gave up.

I hate this game.

She can be a bit tough if you are not prepared for her. Clear some of the turtles in the water area around her. Have your priest shield your tank, and have the tank pull her towards the edge of the island, or just into the water (this alleviates line of sight probs, esp. for the healer). Nature resistance potions work very well to combat her "fart" effect, and when she does the fart, just let it carry you away from her. If anyone has a Dragonbreath Chili or two, give them to the melee classes, it procs often, and is quite effective for dealing that extra damage to her.

Even though I am a hunter, I prefer to let the tank pull the boss mobs like Princess, it keeps the mob away from your healer, hopefully. In this situation, once our tank had pulled her, we all ringed out around them and went to town, she'll aggro onto the healer every once in a while, but if you are paying attention, she will never get near them.

In my opinion she isn't that difficult. Anyway she is worth the effort considering she drops some very nice items! The most annoying thing is the long time
it takes to get to her..

This quest is given by Keeper Marandis, the Cenarian, at Nigel's Point. He's in the building just above and behind the Flight Path.

The princess is really tough. It took us 3 trys to get her down with 2 Palas, a Druid, a Hunter (me) and a Mage. She casts some kind of Dust-Wave that pushes the Chars back and makes u unable to attack and she used a Fearspell on our melee fighters. Anyway the rewards are worth the stress and 6100 xp (at level 50) is a nice reward too.

If you're with a Hunter, ask him to put up Aspect of the Wild, it makes the fight against princess so much easier, it reduces the fart damage by quite a bit.

Just did this with a 50 Mage, a 50 Warrior, a 47 Rogue, a 47 Lock, and me a 46 Resto Shammy, very doable, though I had to pop Mana Tide and Jade Owl in order to keep enough mana to heal everybody through, they moved a bit much and I got hit a couple times from her fart blast, but even still we made it through
