Mor'zul Bloodbringer

Speak with Mor'zul Bloodbringer in the Burning Steppes.

Description

<name>, your delvings into the dark arts are deep. Your mastery over otherworldly denizens has grown so strong... perhaps you are ready to bind to you one of the infamous dreadsteeds.

The ritual to summon the beast from its home requires great power and resources, but if you desire to dominate that epic mount, then speak with Mor'zul Bloodbringer. He is camped near the Altar of Storms in the Burning Steppes.

Go, <name>. This quest will be perilous, but a Warlock of your stature does not shy from danger!

This IS the start to the dreadsteed quest.

Just incase any of you didnt know.
Both Alliance and Horde can get it from their main demon trainers. Suppose it depends on your race as to where you would get it.

I'm an orc and I got it from the main demon trainer in the cleft of shadow, in orgrimmar.

It's a long quest that requires alot of patience and cash.

But it's worth it in the end.

Good luck!

Just a warning to those thinking of starting, or have started the quests to get your dreadsteed...This is a major pain in the ass!&nbsp

You do a few quests (not hard), then have to get a bunch of stuff.&nbsp Some of the items you have to gather you may be able to get yourself depending on your profession.&nbsp But, expect to pay a fair amount for the ones you can't get on your own on the AH.&nbsp Then, do some more quests.&nbsp Then go to Scholo, then to DM east to get the key for DM west (wasn't that hard to get key).&nbsp Then venture into DM west.&nbsp Oh, that's after you've paid about 350 gold for items you'll need for the quest from vendors.&nbsp So, I'll end up paying about as much for my mount as I would have if I just bought the damn wolf instead.&nbsp

I've been a 60 for over a month and still haven't been able to finish all of them.&nbsp I'm finally at the point that I need to go to DM west for the summoning.

If I had known then what I know now, I would have just got the AV wolf, or even just my race mount.&nbsp This was a much bigger pain in the ass than I would have ever imagined.

If u get teh mats ahead of time and know what you're going into its not bad, I myself am only a 56 lock, but I have all the mats that one would need basically. I got the arcanite bars, i got the 35 black dragonscales, the 10 elixir of shadow power, the 6 large brilliant shards all for under 50g and 5 hours of farming on higher accounts. I, as most people do, have a warlock in the guild who has the mats so that will save me 250g. So all thats left for me is the shadowy potions (6g) and the xorothian stardust (150g) and of course to do the scholo run and dm west run. So in all, I will get an incredible amount of xp from doing all the quest, and get my epic mount, and obviously the epic mount training for about 220g. Of course, if you dont look this up and sit around to lvl 60 and throw yourself into you are going to pay ur ass of by getting everything off the AH. As with anything spend a lil time on looking these up (20 mins) and save urself a lot of gold and frustration.

I am a level 60 UnDead Warlock. I have tried to get this quest but the Demon Trainer shows no quest for me. Is there something I need to do before this quest is available to me?

Yeah, this place lists it as a quest you can get at 58. But I am stilling a Silver "!" above him, meaning that it must be lvl 60 at which you can start. I'm hoping this quest isn't as hard as it seems. I know it is very expensive. Luckly, I have a large guild who can probably supply everything for me.

Mor'zul is at 12.31, in graveyard to left of Altar of Storms.
Also there is Gorzeeki Wildeyes.

625 XP at level 60.

And yes the quest isn't given by the demon trainer until level 60.

Mor'zul gives you new quest: Rage of Blood.

I took the suggested path here through Blackrock Mountain.

As long as here, get the flight point at Flame Crest, from Vahruk at 65.24.

Also if you have quest for Yuka Screwspigot she is at Falcon Crest as well. She is in the cave.

Mor'zul starts the quest(s) for the level 60 warlock mount. The mount quest, as far as I know, is NOT Horde-only, it is available to both sides, Alliance and Horde.
