Exorcising Terrordale

Use the Exorcism Censer to drive out the spirits that torment Terrordale. When you have slain 25 Terrordale Spirits, return to Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker in the Cathedral District of Stormwind.
  •
Terrordale Spirit slain (25)
Exorcism Censer
Provided Item:
Exorcism Censer

Description

I have added a pinch of dirt from the tainted ground of Terrordale in the Eastern Plaguelands to the censer. You will now use this censer to find areas there that show signs of spiritual turmoil and disturbance. Look for green auras that permeate the ground as the physical world buckles under the torment of the spirit realm and use the censer to drive out the evil spirits.

When you have passed sufficient judgment on the spirits there, you will be ready to proceed.

If you buy all the stuff for these quests, here is what you will end up at

150 g for the priest
150 g for the smith
150 g for arcanite bars
5 gold for the runecloth
Arthas tears do not know price but not so expensive
you have to got to stratholme yuorself to get the holy water it is bind on pick up
35 gold training all the seals if you havent trained them
10 gold for the both diamonds
53 gold for the horse feed

that sums up to about 550 gold for the whole questline if you havent trained the seals.
maybe just a little more than 500 if you already have trained the seals...

Location: 18,32 Eastern Plagueland is terrordale.

However you dont need to be inside terrordale, at the PvP tower and north and south there are Green hazes on the ground.

Stand inside the haze and use the Exorcism Censer.
Randomly 1-3 Terrordale Spirits will spawn.
Can be nasty but use your paladin given abilities.

FEAR one spirit.
Judge wisdom on one then spam DPS judgements + holyshock(if aviable) + Exorcism on one target, by the time one spirit is freed your fear should be up again fear the other spirit and fight a solo spirit keep the spamming up.
Dont forget to jude a wisdom on each spirit.
will make you manapool alot deeper.

By doing this i didnt even have to shield myself with 3 spirits on me. and holyspec.
And in some cases 60% or more hp left.

As a lvl 60 Holy Paladin this quest is easy peasy. Solo'ed it all the way down without a scratch. Only used 1 potion and that was because I forgot to drink for mana refill in between two summons. Fought with mace and shield.

Never got more than 3 lvl 59/60 mobs at the time, so really not that hard. Use your cencer near one of the clean flares to summon the spirits. You get either 1, 2, or 3 mobs per summon. It would be wise to clear the direct area a bit, but there's a number of green flares on clear ground and those flares respawn quickly, so no need to wait.

After reading the above comments, I thought it would be quite hard, but I honestly thought it was peanuts.

Light be with you all,

this isnt the end of the quest. Theres 2 sides. You have to finish this one and then his other one to get to the scholo part. Once u finish scholo u get ur horse.
Dont worry about spending 500g or wvr...normal mounts are 900g so consider urself lucky

My party and I discovered that multiple paladins can use the censer simultaneously to summon multiple spirits. If you get a party of paladins on this quest together, you could probably finish it very, very quickly. Just have everyone summon at the same time, then cast Consecrate and Holy Wrath.

Even at level 63, 3 undead spirits weren't tough.&nbsp But to not use Turn Undead, even with only 2 spirits, is just silly.&nbsp A 20 sec fear, that won't draw other mobs, is priceless.&nbsp It's crowd control we can actually do.

Just remember not to heal up to full after each fight, not drink up to full.&nbsp The spirits do a Wailing Dead that reduces all stats by 30%.&nbsp If you're at full health/mana when you get hit by this, you will be still be lower than full on health/mana when the effect passes.&nbsp You spend most of these fights at this level, so learn exactly how much health/mana you'll be at udner the curse and pretend that's your max.&nbsp It'll save you time and resources.

Just watch out that you have your divine shield/protection ready to go - on three occasions I activated the censer and had 2 level 60s and a level 59 on me at once. Not too hard, but best to watch out for. This only started happening when I'd killed ~19 spirits.

Very easy to solo as lvl 62 prot pala. Never used holy wrath costs too much mana. I did use seal of light but it kept my health at 90-95% while fighting 6 mobs. Spam consecration + holyshield with retri aura = ezmode

Does anyone know if we keep the Exorcism Sensor after we turn in the quest?
They are pretty easy to kill and after killing near 60 I got 27 invader scourgestones. That is pretty close to 50% and I havent found any other source which is so easy to farm :)

So I might wait a while before turning in the quest ...

Found some of these green circles. Coords are:
- 18.1, 29.1
- 17.4, 28.2
- 17.9, 31.1
- 19.6, 32.2...
and some more near, in the area to the left, just behind the Plaguewood Tower.
Be careful, these ghosts cast curse, which lowers your stats by 30% for some sec.

LOCATION: 16,33 (just south of strat, northwestern most area within plaguewood)

I advise that you get one person to help you, a tank if you are a healadin, or a healer if you are tank/dps. It's easy enough to kill one or two of these, but I find that quite often when I try to solo there are three, which is very problematic. I had a 60 feral druid help me and this was a snap (I'm holy spec). It is certlainly doable solo, but significantly harder and will take a LOT longer.

However, here is a solo guide:
–Clear all the mobs in the area around a circle before you activate it. This should be pretty easy. If you find auras to activate that are in or within the tower walls, you can safely activate these without fear of aggro. In addition, clear a run path so that you can run away from the area without aggroing anything else.
–Activate the area, then immediately after you do so start casting Holy Wrath. It should get off almost before you are hit, which is a quick 400-600 damage to all the ghosts that will spawn.
–One to three of these ghosts can spawn at once. If there are three, I recommend running down the path you cleared after you drop one, then return after you've healed yourself. The ghosts never leave or disappear, and they do not chase very far, so this is fine to do.
–Because you cleared all surrounding mobs, you can fear one of the spirits without worry of aggroing other mobs, which makes this quite a bit easier. Always have one feared.
–Spawn exorcism, of course. As soon as its cooldown is over, do it again and again, but make sure to save some mana for a heal if you need it. This spell should be your chief form of dps, rather than a weapon.
–Use seal of wisdom to keep your mana up, allowing you to cast exorcism. This is significantly more useful and more efficient than dps, unless you have an incredibly high dps rate (which I found doubtful on a pally). You also need mana to heal. If you have a high attack speed, seal of light may be useful to keep you alive. Judge with one and have the other one active on you.
–I recommend using blessing of wisdom on this one, for the same reason as using the seal. Don't bother with blessing of kings, because your stats get sapped anyway. (see below)
–The reason why you should never be flat out fighting three of these at once is because they each have an curse that reduces all your stats by 30%, and they use it often. Three together will reduce your stats by NINTY percent, which means someone with 4000 life normally now has 400! And even if the curse fades (it lasts only a few seconds) your lose life does not come back. This means while fighting three at once you could unexpectedly find yourself at 1/10 life INSTANTLY. Risky business, so don't do it.
–Don't use consecration. It will do such a meaningless amount of damage it will barely change anything, and it will use up valuable mana you could spend exorcising or healing.
–Try to focus your dps on one spirit at a time so that when you run they won't follow you as far. Remember, the more you've damaged one, the farther it will chase you.

I killed 10 this way before my druid friend came to help, and while it wasn't overly difficult, generally, it took probably 6 times longer than having only one person to help out. So get someone to help.
