hunters should pick up the Bloodseeker at 51, then do the hunter quest in azshara, get the green polearm, and ure prepared to hellfire :)

Hello!

I am lv 51. I got this spear from my 1st ever entry to AV late yesterday night.

How: You(your side) have to kill the final general in AV.

Where: This quest is not listed with the NPC. The NPC is the one standing next to the cave enter... near a big caravan thing. He has some other quests for you to complete i think the one with 3 marks of honor when u win the AV.

You have to win the AV and then speak to him... complete the quest with the 3 marks of honor and then he has an yellow "!" above him. When u speak again you can complete the quest with the polearm and select what u want from that quest.You don't have to do anything else and the quest is not listed initially.

I had:
and with this polearm my upper dmg from the sword is a lower dmg with the polearm... so this kicks ass!

So do you need to be lvl 60 now, to be able to get this quest or what?

Edit: Yeah, it is main hand and priests can use it. I saw it was red in the quest reward and didn't check whether it was one or two hands. It was red because I'm not 58. That level req for it sucks.

Did something change after the patches? Voggah Deathgrip does not give this quest out. In fact the Prereq:The Battle for Alterac quest is not available.. Did I miss out on this quest since Im exalted in AV & 60?

yeah you have to do the quest to kill Stormpike first.
Can do this Q at 51 already btw (that's what i did).

I went to TM but Voggah is not giving me anything, as a matter of fact , I can't even speak to him. I have done AV many times, and I am exalted with it now. I have always accessed AV from ORG, never from TM. Now a friend told me I can get a mace from Voggah, but like I said, he's not even talking to me. Did something change about this quest?

Why is there a lvl requirment only on the cold forged hammer? Its a quest reward: It shouldnt have any lvl requirments at all (as no other questrewards has it, atleast noone i can think of).

The only class they left out with this quest:
Is a warlock, that wand is in no manner of any use to a warlock.

Dammit, again blizz left out priest rewards and rogue rewards. i dont want the wand just for DPS< id rather use wand for stats than dps > the hammer sucks for me, as i can get soulkeeper with tons o spirit or just stick w/ illusionlary rod (yes i still use that lol) so what here vendors for most? =)

Any hunter doing this, take the spike - didnt see a better 2H weapon for a long long time, but i had to hands up for a ranged just as good as the crossbow... and i rolled crossbow....

Take the ice barbed dudes

They need to make the spear a mace... why should hunters be able to use it and not druids o.O the stats benefit us more.

I have a question. I am a 54 Orc Warrior (Kraytos) and I cannot decide whether or not to get this. I am currently dual weilding Assassination Blade in my main hand with Hanzo Sword in off hand. (Fury ftw!) Do you think this would be a better choice for me? I would respec Arms if I got it.

No reason for a hunter to get the spear over the xbow unless they already have some boe epic ranged weapon. Bloodseeker is so amazingly overpowered at lvl 51 it's not even funny.

What do you do in this Quest?
