Windcaller Proudhorn at Cenarion Hold in Silithus wants you to kill 15 Dredge Strikers.

Description

Cenarion Hold is a location of utmost strategic importance. I'm convinced that while we hold it our victory over the silithid is guaranteed. Provided our influx supplies can be maintained, that is.

Desert worms have proven to be more of a threat to our supply caravans than even the silithid themselves. Just this morning, a large shipment of morrowgrain was ravaged by a group of dredge strikers. I need you to thin their numbers to ensure our supplies aren't jeopardized.

66.35 is where I'm finding them, but they are all over, non-tameable and have a brutal dash if you are knocked off guard. Be careful if you are under lvl 55, as the mobs are 54-60+ it's also a Battleground PVP area, so becareful of Stealth pvp'ers.

A Great Tactic if you don't mind waiting is, there are 4 Level 60 Cenarion Outriders sitting on Cat Mounts. Hit the critter then run back to them and they will kill it for you. Be watchful, there is a group of 10 lvl 60 bad guys that ride on the same path/patrol, that kill all 4 of these guys and will kill you if you aren't 60+.

Remember that being in a raid group stops questing. Kills doesn't register, quest items doesn't drop and so on. I always forget that )

This quest is very easy.&nbsp They don't do too much damage as and they do knock you back a ways as mentioned by the previous poster.&nbsp However, for a hunter, the knock back puts you at just the right range for using your ranged weapon.&nbsp It's a huge advantage. lol.

The spawn rate is pertty good too.

Wait for 4 Cenarion circle patrol (guards) and pull spiders, scorpids and snikes to them -) They kill very fast you will complete pretty soon that way :-)))

I think this quest is bugged, iv killed them many times and it doesnt register in my quest log

Quest not bugged. Just use the proper_hands.dll.

These worms are a pain. By themselves they aren't tough, but they kick you into the air and send you flying every so often, which can cause you to aggro other ones.
