Venture to the Caverns of Time in Tanaris and find Anachronos, Brood of Nozdormu.

Description

The embrace of death had all but overcome my being when he intervened. He breathed only once upon my maimed body and then waited patiently for the sands of time to cleanse my wounds.

"Forever you will remain if you must," he said, and with those words I was bound as a Watcher.

Look now to the desert. The second war is upon us. You must seek out the resting place of the Bronze. Venture to the Caverns of Time and see if the master has returned. I must be sure before I am able to proceed.

As it says in the quest text, go to Tanaris. The Cavern of Time is located 60,50. Go to the location 65,50 just outside the Cavern of Time. You will need to avoid the Elite Dragons flying around but that's not a major problem.

This quest line is a prerequisite for the Ahn'Qiraj scepter line used to open the doors to Ahn'Qiraj.

This is the start of the longest and most complicated quest chain in the game. It was included when Ahn'Qiraj was released and one person on each server has to complete it in order to open up the gates of Ahn'Qiraj so everyone can do the instances (AQ20 and AQ40). For some reason, Blizzard chose to keep the quest chain available even after the gates are opened so that everyone can do it. There's no point in doing it afterwards, but this got to be the best quest chain in the game, lore-wise and otherwise.

By completing this quest you gan Hated with the faction Brood of Nozdormu. Perhaps Anachronos will aggro when you get close to him (instead of just sitting there) after the quest completion.

You need to be standing @ 64,51 , and after that u can even sit under him he will not agro you , 64,51 is on the South of Him

Before today I had no reputation bar with Brood of Nozdormu, but upon completion of this quest my reputation went straight to 250/36000 Hated. Is this normal/ meant to happen?

I'm level 60, and I just completed this quest without battle. Just go around all of the elite dragons and approach Anachronos from the back.

Going near Anachronous gives you the completed objective: "Discover the Brood of Nozdormu (Complete)". However, there is no option to turn in the quest. Anachronous is standing right there, obviously hostile, but not aggro (there are other dragons in the area, but none you have to go anywhere near to get to him). I have no reputation bar for BoN. Level 61.

Again, the question is how do you complete/turn in the quest, not just complete the quest objective. Or can it not be completed since the expansion?

(The quest complete text above is for a quest in Blackrock depths, completely unrelated. Wtf?)

It was a very annoying quest, but I saw my brother finish. In Caverns of Time, there is that road in the middle that leads to Anachronos, Brood of Nozdormu. Just walk in the middle of that road close enough to Anachronos and the quest will be done. You have to stand in a certain place on the road to complete the quest :)

Just run toward Anachronos mounted along the road, don't worry about aggro, keep running until the quest is complete. I did it today and I'm exalted, so it should work for friendly as well.

Ok, for anyone worrying about this quest.

#1 It's easy and takes five minutes
#2 ZERO dragons agro'd on me at level 60
#3 If you run in ON YOUR MOUNT you are 100% safe
#4 It's not on the mountain, it's in the "courtyard". Right in front! What could be easier!

After the event with the crystals, a friend and I ground out some rep with these guys, therefore we already discovered the Brood of Nozdormu rep.

(Also, other than the crystals event, can you get any more rep with these guys?)

Stand at 64 , 50 and you will complete the quest, note though all the dragons will aggro on you. Except that Anachronos will not so I just ran in form the left and went around got behind him then went forward form 65 to 64 and it completed.

I was standing right behind and got the message of having discovered Caverns of Time, and *still* did not complete quest.

Finally I went down to Anachronos "right" (from A's perspective), a little bit down. You don't need to kill Chronalis. The other two elite mobs are easy, of course.

wrong. i just did it with hated and at war lol.

as a few people have said just sneak up the left hand side and stay mounted. u need to get to 64 50, and dont worry if the last brood aggros u you can even out run him on foot quite easily

I rode to the West side of Tick, the first Elite dragon there, and snuck up to 64,50 and completed without aggro. I waited until Chronalis' back was turned, dunno if that helped of not.

I have to admit I do not understand the comments on this quest. I got this quest from Baristolth of the Shifting Sands in Cenarion Hold in Silithus and I turned in the quest to him. He stands to the left of the "city hall" stairs in Cenarion hold, about at the bottom of the gryphon hill.
Finding Anachronos was easy and I did not have to fight anything to finish this quest. Turning in the quest made me Hated with Brood of Nozdurmo.

extremely simple quest.
if you're lvl 60 i dont know how you could aggro anyone doing the quest..
I just rode around the 2 dragons at the front (which you can solo one at a time at lvl60 anyway), then up on the path towards the final dragon..
all done.. easy..
you get 110 faction with Brood of Nozdormu

you have to stand right on the orangish spot ahead of him, it will aggro chronalis...T_T I found out the hard way.

Doesn't seem like everyone understands how/what to do this, so here is a small guide(nothing that haven't been said above, but I compiled it :-)

You get the q at 49,36 in Silithus
You go to the above mentioned coords(64,51) in Tanaris(Caverns of time).
You don't have to fight anything, just for standing at the right spot
You get the "Quest completed" thing
You go back to the questgiver in Silithus
You gain around 6600XP(lvl 60), and get a new quest(raid).

Thats all - boring quest !

Just stand in front of him, near the lvl 61 Elite Dragon, easy enough.

Eventually you will get a quest for BWL, if you're not ready for it, I'd suggest you don't waste your time on this quest.

This quest is really buggy... before I read here at what coordinates to stand. I shapeshifted to cat and snuck past all the dragons and was standing behind Anachronos and I didn't discover him... I was even stupid enough to hit him (died instantly) but I didn't discover.
So I'm really happy I fond the coordinates here =)

I can stand inside the boss and not discover him, but standing three feet in front of him I can? How amusing ^^ As everyone said, no aggro needed if you're 60, however be on your mount incase you accidently aggro his guard, easily outrunnable.

I think the end text mentioned here is incorrect, taken from another quest and attached to this one. This thunderbrew stuff is probably from a different quest, and this page is referencing it incorrectly.
