Description

The Brood of Nozdormu are naturally distrusting of the lesser races. While it is true that you have proven to me that you have the potential makings of a hero, the time has come to prove this to my master.

Hive'Ashi, Hive'Zora, Hive'Regal: All swarming with activity and all a threat to our existence. Slay silithid at these hives and take from them a fragment of their carapace. When you can carry no more, return to me and I shall strengthen your resolve.

Ok, lets just call the person doing this Q the Captain, and the one's she promotes her (sorry, female in our guild ^^) helpers.

The captain finishes this quest, and gets promoted to an Agent. Then, when she has 200 of those Silithid thingies, she can promote someone else. However, only the person who actually completed this quest can hand in the items, and promote other people. Her helpers however can now also loot this Silithid stuff. If you are NOT promoted, you will NOT find these items on the bodies. However, if you are not promoted, make a kill, and someone else in your party IS promoted, the promoted person can loot the Silithid thing. So works just like a quest item actually. I think this is the only way to get in AQ, as an agent, or one of his/her helpers. I also heard something about having to be promoted to make some kind of mace to enter AQ, but these are only rumors, don't know anything about it for sure.

So: Quest completer is an agent. With each 200 Silithid Carapeces, she can promote anyone else at will. These people will now also be able to loot these Carapeces, and give them to the agent. The agent will hand them in and promote other people.

A tip for while farming the silithid carapaces, is to go to Hive'Regal. I noticed that the mobs there have a chance to drop one extra carapace, making it possible to loot a total of 4 instead of 3 carapaces. Happy farming!

As of 17/10/06 turning in this quest gives 200 Nozdormu reputation at first turn-in. Likely to be the same after repeating it.

On this quest, 200 fragment = 200 rep.
Each Elite Bugs give you 1~3 pieces - Also, have to mention that normal Bugs drop fragment too, 0~1.
The hive on the west side has some groups of normal lev59~60 Bugs, as a mage, AE them and Loot, quite easy.

Btw, AQ boss gives you Brood's rep too, 37 per boss kill, and sorry.. trash mob give you CC rep only :( .. ahh.. I am a human :P

I believe you pick up the first quest from someone in the Cen hold in Silithus. Then you must travel to the Caverns of Time and walk up to the large dragon in the back just close enough for you to complete the quest ( beware, the surrounding dragons will aggro if you ge to close). The head back to the Cen Hold and turn in. you will recive the quest ' Only one may rise' which requires you to kill the Bloodlord in BWL.

I'm Revered with the Brood, and I decided it farm some bonus rep to get to exaulted.&nbsp I get a kick out of rep farming, so I farmed thousands of these while doing my combat quests, etc.&nbsp However, after I finally got the broodlord's head, I did this quest, and it's not repeatable.&nbsp I've continued the chain to the point where I need to talk&nbsp with/kill the three world dragons.&nbsp

Anyone know why I can't repeat this quest?

You can not hand them in yourself&nbsp even if you have been promoted to an Agent of Nozdormu.
And as far as I know you don�t get rep for killing the Bugs.
The only way is too turn in the Head of the Broodlord Lashlayer.

yes and u find a good medic

200carapaces is 200rep , carapaces drop 1-2-3 at time, i srart with hated 100, so u have to do 3000point of hostile and then u get neutral 8that as far i know is enought to get quests)

so it not take that amount of time

only who has looted the head and close the quest Only One ay rise can TURN carapaces into rep, the "simple" agents can&nbsp find carapaces but they cant turn them.

after you have turn in the first quest, it gives you 110 rep, and started at HATED...

Ok correct me if im wrong but..
i think that once the gates are opened and the silithid invasion begins (that everyone can take part in) anyone who has not been in on the rep grinding attained through this quest will get the rep from taking part in the invasion and killing the bugs there. the rep gained will be in direct relation to the number of invaders your group kills, this is how it was explained to me at least.

so once the gates are open i dont see anyone doing this quest unless youre one of those ppl that has to have every available quest done regardless of what it benefits you

again if im wrong plz correct me, and plz if youre going to correct me make sure its not just heresy and that you have taken place in the action on one of the 'opened' servers&nbsp ty!

The person who has turned in the head can keep turning in 200 carapaces. and thus deputizing more people.

40 are needed for the AQ temple.
So thats a lot of carapaces.

As someone said in the prerequirement for this quest,&nbsp it is a sort of attunement.
you cant enter the 40 man part of this dungeon, unless you have someone deputize you.&nbsp no token, no entry.

AQ40 is harder than BWL.

Should be interesting .
