Slaughter the Shadowsworn in the Blasted Lands and return to the Fallen Hero of the Horde.

Description

The continued presence of the shadowsworn in the Blasted Lands bring great pain to me. Their dark rituals and spells cause agony unlike any I felt while alive.

you can find the shadowsword adept cultist and thugs around (62,46) just slightly NE of the dark portal.

For those without a map addon, the shadowsworn is directly under Nethergarde keep, close to the dark portal.

There's also a cave in the area containing more of 'em. Avoid the Servant of Allistarj around the crystal, that mob is for a different quest and is invincible if you don't touch the crystal after almost killing him.

The bad thing about this quest is that it's for Horde and Alliance, so you may have some trouble clearing the quest. Also, there may be level 70s around the area since the portal to the Outlands is just south - traffic is usual.

This is a perfect quest for a high level warrior trying to grind to 60.

After killing the 50 Mobs and turning in just this leg of the quest, filled about 6 bubbles of xp (rested bonus mind you).&nbsp Well worth it.

Doing the ST portion tomorrow morning.

After this you get the last part of the quest, where you have to go into Sunken Temple kill some 'bosses' that drops magic feather that you deliver to the guy that gives the quest, he'll come alive and you get to choose your reward between a trinket, a helmet and some shoulders

Trinket: when used, regens health and increases strength for 75 for 1min.

Helmet: Some armor (can't remember) ofcourse, and str and 1%+ crit and hit

Shoulders: some armor, 10 agi, 10 str, 9 stam, 1%+ chance to hit.

For those without the addons, The Shadowsorn are directly outside of Serpent's Coil, which is that cave just below Nethergarde Keep.

I had some problems doing this q necause of all the scourges around, it was realy anoying.
I first thought that 50 kills where a bit much but i went rly fast as a suprise:D
now i have some troubles deciding what ill chose from the final q, the helmet gives no stam, id rather like imperial set so i dont think ill chose the shoulders eather, but the trinket is kinda nice with +75 strenght so i think ill go for the trinket) what r u gonna go for?

I had some trouble with this one as a 53 prot warrior. There's a high tendency for multiple shadowsworn to pull at once, and in the cave, for a patrol to add on halfway through. So it's best to go into fights on the side of caution, making sure you can fight about three times as much as you're expecting to.

If you do go into the cave, avoid Allistarj at all costs. He aggro'd me from across the room with a 500 damage fireball. Needless to say, I did not live.

And I've probably killed 30+ cultists looking for the 20 each of the thugs and adepts.

50 kills seems overwhelming when you first get the quest, but only took me roughly 54 minutes to get it done at 50. Gave some nice XP too :) Had that 50 Agi buff on to speed things up a bit.

Best item out of that is definitely the Trinket, the rest is easy to replace, and having +150 attack power for 1 minute is kind of powerful...

There are several non-wandering fellows who become invulnerable once you've brought them down to 1%. Supposedly, you have to destroy this stone near them when this happens (you click on the gold gear-opening thing) and smash the stone, and then they die. However, I never saw a gear-opening thing, so be forewarned that these guys are out there...

Shadowsworn are all over the eastern part of the Blasted Lands. Just walk on the eastern wall from the Keep until the Dark Portal. You will be able to find tons of them. Best way is to get a healer with you on this quest or maybe a lock to help you with his minion. Did this quest in around 45 minutes with a lock from my guild helping.

yeah this q takes time...but its a great way to build up XP...i made 40000 in an hour...make sure to have rest bonus built up.
