The Brokering of Peace

Additional requirements to obtain this quest:
Bring the Timbermaw Offering of Peace to King Magni Bronzebeard in Ironforge.
Timbermaw Offering of Peace
  •
Timbermaw Hold (Exalted)
Provided Item:
Timbermaw Offering of Peace

Description

Your deeds go beyond the tale of a simple hero, <name>. If you are a representative of your people, then your people are ones we would work to make peace with.

Please - take this offering to the dwarven king that resides in a mountain of iron; I believe you call this city Ironforge. In times past, he had tried to make contact with us on behalf of his Alliance. It is now only fitting to acknowledge you as the key in your Alliance's efforts in brokering peace.

When you turn in the quest, Magni yells:
Let it be known that <name> - Alliance <class> - has earned the undying respect of Ironforge and the Alliance as a whole. He/She has engaged in great diplomacy with Timbermaw Hold and performed valiant actions for them on our behalf. He/She has gone above the call of duty. Three cheers for <name> - a true hero of the Alliance.

I put the wrong numbers in to explain it in the last post-

It's 30,000 points to go from Revered to Exalted. If you've saved the quest turn ins that takes it down to 28,950. If you've saved feathers/beads from the beginning they grant +75 each. Say you've saved up about 800, that'll knock you down to 17,950 points left. That's 1,200 feathers/beads. At a drop rate of 1/4 the number still comes out to be 4,600 that you need to kill.
You'll have saved yourself maybe 2,850 kills (more than half again) since someone who hits revered with none saved up would have to kill about 7,450 furbolgs in order to get to Exalted.

Rep stops accumulating per kill once you reach 'revered'. They only way to get points after this is by turning in feathers and beads.

If you really want to go all the way with this to 'exalted' then DO NOT ever turn the beads/feathers in until AFTER you hit 'revered'. Once you do, you'll need to make up 21,000 points for 'exalted'. If you've saved ALL of the quests to turn in until this point, you can knock that down to 19,500 points. At 5 feathers per 50 points, you'll need 1,950 of these so turn in however many you have. If you've saved up since 'hated' you may have around 800 or so, meaning you'll still need somewhere around 1,150 points. At an average drop of 1 in 4, that means you'll have to kill another 4,600 of these guys. And that's the fastest possible way to get to exalted. Good luck.
