The Four Dukes

Find a way to summon and slay the Duke of Cynders, the Duke of Fathoms, the Duke of Zephyrs and the Duke of Shards and report back to Commander Mar'alith in Cenarion Hold. You must also bring Tactical Task Briefing V in order to complete this quest.

Description

The links between the Twilight's Hammer and the Abyssal Council are proving to be more important than we had expected.

We believe the elemental nobles known as the Abyssal Dukes are one of the primary force organizing the Twilight's Hammer cultists. Find a way to lure the four Abyssal Dukes into our plane of existence and destroy them!

Your dedication and prowess in past assignments have led us to choose you for this particular assignment. We are certain you will succeed in this endeavor.

If i am right,in order to summon them,you need the cultist set which drops off of members of twilight hammer and you summon them from the windstones while wearing the 3 items from that set.

i was talking to a friend and he thought i need to finish the broodlord quests b4 i could get this quest can any1 confirm that they've got this tactical task V and not done the BWL broodlord head Q please so i can carry on grinding for this Quest and not be racking my brain wondering if i need to do that quest first? its nothing to do with the badges quests but i would still like to know wheather this is some sort of a requirment before i can pick it up or anything thx ..... ill also post if i get the quest in the meantime and find out for myself

Be careful when fighting them as they have a very short leash and will despawn midfight. I was soloing this quest on my 67 ice mage (they're all immune to slowing ice effects, by the way) and while fighting my last one, the Duke of Zephyrs, I blinked to get out of one of his weather clouds and he vanished. When I mentioned this in guild chat, a warlock who had try to solo with fear kiting mentioned the same problem.

Now I don't have a Signet of Beckoning for Thunder, so I have to burn a few more sets of mats and gear til I get Zephyrs again.

3man'ed all 4 dukes.
Mage/Warrior/Priest - all are in BWL/MC gears
well.. 5man is pretty easy..down a duke in less than 3mins

From the patch notes:

Drop frequencies for Tactical Task Briefing V and Logistics Task Briefing XI have been improved considerably. These were needed for the Mark of Cenarius and the Mark of Remulos, their drop rates are now comparable to the other task briefings.

He said it is a completely random drop.&nbsp He would not say off a tactical or follow up tactical.&nbsp He did confirm that it doesn't have anything to do with this quest.

It finally dropped today off of the Hive Zora Scout quest.&nbsp I had 66! tactical badges before this sob dropped.&nbsp I need to kill 4 dukes and I finally got my ring.

I feel ya man.&nbsp I have everything for epic except Lucky number V.&nbsp I am on 48 tactical badge.&nbsp It makes me want to quit the game.&nbsp I have so much invested in that stupid epic.

My husband just got this quest from turning in his very first tactical assignment. so, that was his first followup assignment.&nbsp Go figure, people have posted 66 tacticals before recieving this.

My question does this come from the greater windstone, regular windstone or what? Besides the clothing garb is anything else required to be equipped before summoning?

I just got "A Humble Offering" Killing the Lord of the abyssal council. Not a word posted on this one.

I highly recommend picking up a Scepter of Beckoning: <ElementalType> for each type of duke before doing this quest. I killed 21 dukes before I got the Duke of Thunder (my 4th type of duke). Having the scepters of beckoning forces the duke of the corresponding elemental type to be summoned.

I could have saved a lot of time and gold (buying twilight cultist gear) buy getting the scepters in advance.
