Description

I don't suppose Sputtervalve sent you? I'm in a bind here. I hopped in without realizing that I need a key to unlock the shredder's movement column. One of the other shredder operators asked me if everything was okay, and I panicked! Instead of telling him that I was missing my key, I told him there was some sort of mechanical problem.

We need to get out of here on the double! Go up to the control room at the top of the derrick, the supervisor should have a key for this shredder.

Help me out here!

Wizzle crank is at approximatly 56,8, just north of the tower next to another smocking wreck. If he's not there, someone else has just done escape and he'll be back in two minutes.

You can pick up this quest at Sludge Fen around 56,8.
Talk to the guy inside the Shredder. (He is just on the outside of the water's edge)
Get the key from the little green superviser on the platform in the middle of the water.
Bring it back to the guy in the Shredder.
Escort him (the Shredder) just up the hill until the machine dies.
Your last stop is in Ratchet to complete this series of quests.

Fairly straight forward. Go up the ramp of the big structure in the water. Be careful of roamers, there's 2-3 of them that go back and forth, so keep an eye out.

The key is on Supervisor Lugwizzle. He roams up and down the ramp and around a bit of the shore of the water. He even passes by Wizzlecrank, so if you're lucky, you can finish this quest fairly quickly.

the key drops off supervisor lugwizzle who is just up the ramp of the tower in the muck pool of the sludge fern where all the venture co miners and mercenaries are. He is level 18.

It didnt happen every time but 1 of the 2 times I fought lugwizzle he summoned a mechanical, I think a squirrel who was llv 18. Just a word of caution, also the drop isnt 100%, hence why I killed him twice.

Also, this quest works like other escort quests in that only one person can do it at a time, if some takes the key to him first he will disapear as part of the following quest and you must wait for it to respawn.

This is the same area you find the nuts needed to ix the samophlange.

Foreman Grills pats quickly on the ramps. http://classicdb.ch/?npc=5835

To avoid him, follow him up the ramp without aggro, then stand around the barrels. Lugwizzle comes into the barrel area and you can easily pull him without Grills.
Grills, starting at the top, goes straight to the bottom of the ramp, then back up and into the barrel area, then to the top again.

I was going along, doing the quest just fine. When I got disconnected. When I logged back on it said I had failed the quest. Now I can't find the guy anywhere. Is there any way I can get the quest agian. (BTW I'm talking about The escape guest not the ignition)

when i went to turn in the quest, i did not find wizzlecrank at the same location i got the quest from, and when i went back i still did not find him.

It does tell you where to turn it it. It says to escort to Ratchet.. TO SPUTTERVALVE. That's the goblin's name in Ratchet!

This quest is best with a warlock since they can curse humanoids with Curse of Recklessness that prevents them from running away! <3

This is the quest from hell. I suggest not bothering. It's marked lvl 18, but I had problems with my lvl 21 Shammy. The guys run when they are only about half health and pull about 3 more and contuine on doing this untill you have no mana and eventually die.... I couldn't make it all the way to the top without dieing, and promptly clicked "abandon quest".

The named supervisor (can't remember name, but not elite - level 18) wanders around the derrick, so you can wait for him on the bottom level.&nbsp Spacing is tighter here than on the outside area, so aggro of multiple mobs is almost completely unavoidable.&nbsp Mobs run early, so earthbind totem is MANDATORY by shamans.
