Description

I should have known. My arch-enemy, Doctor Weavil, up to his old tricks! And now, thanks to your failure in Winterspring, Doctor Weavil has destroyed my book! How are you going to save the world now, hero?

The note I received stated that the only known copy of "Draconic for Dummies: Volume II" was ripped into 8 parts and scattered to the wind! If you somehow manage to find those missing chapters, use this magical binding to put them back together and return to me.

Here is a summary of what I could glean from some searching. (But, I do not yet know if all this information is correct, so keep that in mind.)

Chapter I: Doctor Weavil (Alcaz Island in Dustwallow, a bit north of Theramore in two-story house, guarded by his minions need raid loot allegedly must be on FFA)

Chapter II: Felguard Elites (Blasted Lands: The Tainted Scar, and around The Dark Portal)

Chapter III: Hederine Initiates and Slayers (Winterspring: Darkwhisper Gorge)

Chapter IV: Undercity (on table in front of Salazar Bloch, the book dealer, on the inside of the canal in the mage quarter 77,38)

Chapter V: Stormwind (library, on pillar base on left as you enter 71,06)

Chapter VI: Onyxia (loot allegedly must be on FFA)

Chapter VII: Blackwing Lair (on table near where Master Elemental Shaper Krixix spawns)

Chapter VIII: Ragnaros (loot allegedly must be on FFA)

At least one person mentioned that, rather than loot being on FFA, the requirement is that the quest item can be looted from the corpse only after the "default looter" has looted the corpse. That is, NOT necessarily the master looter, but rather the guy who's turn it was to loot the next mob kill.

I went to have a look in UC Friday night at about 0100. Im a warlock btw. Went in through the sewers, first guard is 55 non elite. Kill him or if you are a lock pull him the other way with an eye of Kilrogg. Invisibility potions might do the trick here too.

Follow the tunnel down and jump in to the river of green that goes around all UC. Stay in the middle mostly, change side if a civ or guard is close. I did pull a 55 elite guard a few times, but just kept going until they reset.

When entering the magic quarters make sure the patrols are nowhere near. Run up to the table click the book, ignore the low lvl civ vendors. Get the item and run back to the green stuff. Go the same way back, you will have to kill orpull away 1 more guard when leaving the green.

Made it first try, didn't die at all. Not sure if this was the way Blizz ment it do be done, but it worked flawless. Book is found at 77.38 as mentioned above.

He's on Alcaz Island, where the King of Stormwind use to be, in Dustwallow. Just North of Theramoore.

He's in a two story house, gaurded by his minions.

This is a quest within the quest line to obtain the Scepter of the Shifting Sands which is used to open the gates of AQ.&nbsp More than likely the needed quest items to even get up to this one will goto Guild Leaders and other who have been prechosen to work to get the Scepter.

did it on my lv 60 warrior naked died about 4 times but there is no pick up time so once you get your body to the book click on it and grab it. (much harder now that lv 65 guards are all around) hearthed after the next res

Chapter III did come from the Initiates & Slayers in Darkwhisper Gorge.&nbsp Was there for about an hour with 2 friends.&nbsp Took that long for us to get 2 to drop.

The location for Chapter IV, found in Undercity is 77,38.&nbsp Its on Salazar Bloch's, the Book Dealer, table.

The location for Chapter V, found in Stormwind is 72,6.

You need to raid Dr. Weavil.&nbsp He MC's and hits like a brick.&nbsp Need sheeps on MC and steady DPS.&nbsp Half my guild stuck around after an Ony farm and helped me out.&nbsp He sucks.

Some have claimed the loot must be set to FFA for the Doctor Weavil, Onyxia, and Ragnaros pages. At least one person mentioned that, rather than loot being on FFA, the requirement is that the quest item can be looted from the corpse only after the "default looter" has looted the corpse. That is, NOT necessarily the master looter, but rather the guy who's turn it was to loot the next mob kill.

(I know it does NOT need to be FFA because I have gotten the Onyxia and Ragnaros ones myself without it being FFA.)

Doctor Weavil can be found on the Alcaz Island north of Theramore.

Hes a 63 elite with as much mana as hakkar. I assume the guy is insane hard. Plus Thott and Alla here never seen him before back when I found Weavil, ( 5 weeks ago ). So yea...
