57,53 is the BEST spot. Raptors everywhere, I spent about 10 minutes total on this quest

Mebok Mizzyrix is Goblin NPC in Ratchet between 2 houses to the left of the bank.

I'm not all that interested in Raptor Horns but the next quest, Smart Drinks, takes place in Wailing Caverns. Might as well get all the quest you can before you go into a large instance.

The droprate is stupidly low

Droprate rules, there are loads of raptors, and they spawn really fast.

This took me a while because I had a very poor drop rate, even when I logged out, then back in.&nbsp I think I had to kill 10 raptors for each horn that I harvested.

To find the raptors, follow the Gold Road south out of Crossroads.&nbsp The raptors will be on the East side of the road.&nbsp They are mostly found at a distance of about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way south, towards the road junction where you can turn west to Camp Taurajo.

Eventually, you will come to a 'Wash' which has a bridge on it, where the gold road crosses it.&nbsp I think this is the first bridge south of Crossroads, but by the time you reach the bridge, you will already have been passing raptors on the east side of the road, for a little while.&nbsp There are also raptors around the bridge.

Just a bit before you reach the bridge, there is a 'wash' or chasm that heads east towards Northwatch Hold.&nbsp If you follow this path east, you will eventually come to a place called 'Raptor Grounds,' located about half way towards Northwatch Hold.&nbsp You should also be able to find a lot of the Sunscale Scytheclaw Raptors there.

I use a Mod called Metamap, if your using BC just download the mod and put it in C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/Addon/Interface.
Make sure you extract the entire folder directly to that path or the mod wont work. Reboot WoW and you should have the coordinates on the bottem of the map when you skim the finger over it...Enjoy :)

57,51 by far the best place to find the horns...the place is called Raptor Grounds...that should tell you something =P

This quest is easy! Goto 57,53 then hunt like a frenzy! Solo as a lvl 18 hunter.. Piece of @#$%!

you know how if you kill something too much lower level thatn you you get no loot?well i get nothing from raptors so how can i do the quest?

i did it solo as a lvl 16 warrior easy easy easy

The raptors are at 58,54
You can do Stolen Silver when you are in the Raptor Grounds. Its Protected by 3 Raptors at the same cords.
Did it with me level 22 Warlock so it&nbsp was easy)

He's in Ratchet, next to the BANK. It's not an auction house. He's on the left if you're looking at it.

Just did this quest on my 18 Warlock. It's so easy and the drop rate is good. I killed 6 Raptors and got 5 horns. Didn't even have to goto Raptor grounds either, just went a little south of Thorn Hill and there were plenty of Scytheclaws.

There is a very nice spawn of raptors at 52,46. Or you could just head off to the raptor grounds :-)

at coords 51,46. There is a mound with those dinos all over the place where they are protecting their eggs.

Does ratchet have a bank like Orgrimmar?

57,52 the exact spot for the Raptor Grounds discovery, for me atleast.

I went to the raptor grounds and found all the horns i needed for me AND another person with no problem. This quest is cake.

This quest is available to both Alliance and Horde characters.

Does anyone remember if Mebok Mizzyrix is in the Barrens or in Ratchet? I've looked in both areas and can't find him to complete my quest. Anyone have any idea?
