Kill 8 Razormane Geomancers, 8 Razormane Defenders, and Kreenig Snarlsnout.

Then bring Kreenig Snarlsnout's Tusk to Thork at the Crossroads.

Description

One of my scouts witnessed an attack on a caravan from Durotar, <name>. The culprits are indeed the Razormane tribe of quilboars. One of the quilboars in particular is leading the raids: Kreenig Snarlsnout. He was seen northeast of here, just south of the road from Durotar. If the threat is to be ended, then Kreenig must die.

To be sure the attacks cease, though, I say we add insult to their injury. Kill Kreenig along with more of their tribe, and return to me when you have his tusk.

Kreenig can be found at: 58, 26. Pulling guards are easy and you can avoid getting aggro'd by Kreenig.

he is always in the same area... he is in the last razormane camp to the east of Thorn Hill. If he isnt there then just sit and wait. Someone probably just killed him. He looks like the others but there is 1 difference. He is wearing green pants.

I found it very easy to kill Kreenig Snarlsnout, by attacking from behind.&nbsp Just go up Thorn Hill, by running up one of the many ridges that project from it.&nbsp Then angle your way over to the camp and carefully descend behind it.&nbsp Kreenig Snarlsnout is generally in about the 3rd camp up against the north side of Thorn Hill, as you head towards the east.

Take a position in one of the huts projecting from the hill and use spells or ranged weapons to attack the few nearby defenders.&nbsp They WILL run up the hill and hit you from behind, so be ready for that, but you should be able to draw only one or two at a time.&nbsp Finally, when pigface comes into range, as he periodically will, just clobber him!

I found Kreenig Snarlsnout at 58, 27 . He patrols in that area. The best place to kill the Geomancers and Defenders would be the two camps before his. GL!
Took him as a lvl 16 hunter, he is a lvl 15 named not elite.

P.S. - His respawn time is fast because a lvl 44 orc warrior was helping someone quest and he wiped that area out just as i got there. The whole camp respawned within 3-5 mins. So if you don't see him just be patient.

careful because if you approach the target from the west you will run into a level 15, totem casting Elite, easily mistakeable as the main target.

he can cast multiple totems and gave even my level 20 Tauren Shammy some bother

The coordinates 58,26 are correct Kreenig is surrounded by mystice and usually elder mystic snarlsnout is to the right of him.

This quest was very easy for my Lvl 14 shaman.. The mobs are 11-13 and snarlsnout was 15. Camp is located about 58,26

Id recomend doing this quest at 13+ maybe 12+ for warlocks and hunters

it is possible to sneak up on kreenig from behind (up the bluff) if you approach the south side of the rocks that he is against, it is possible to climb all the way up to near the top and work your away around until directly above kreenig and then drop down on top of him, i only had to deal with him and a mystic. unfortunately then you have to fight your way out, of hearthstone

I have gone to that area 3 times and not one time has Snarlsnout actually been there. I've cleared out everything in that camp as well as the two nearby camps. Nothing. The most I found was an elite mystic, but that's it. Very annoying. And I'm not saying I've gone in and he just wasn't there (as if someone else had just come by), but I've sat and waited and waited.

FiercePook, you can find him right where you found the others. he is in the mountain alcove to the NE. He is level 15 Elite, so make sure you are a few levels above him or have a party. He respawns every 4 minutes (or so I have calculated). Just be patient, you will locate him.

for the record, you can stealth past everyone as a rogue and just kill kreenig if you've done the rest of the quest already. only one mystic helps him if you catch him at the right time.

I am not sure when they added it, but there is a new mob within aggro range of Kreenig. It is a level 15 Elite called Elder Mystic Razorsnout.

Kreenig Snarlsnout is not an Elite. He's a normal level 15 mob and a joke. I took him out solo as a 16 mage. I thought the mystics were tougher since they could heal themselves mid-battle. This is best done together with the Supplies for the Crossroads quest. You can get the supply crates where the Geomancers and Defenders camp is and then work your way back where Snarlsnout hangs out and take him down in one trip. He is surrounded by Mystics and Defenders. You'll also only have to contend with the occasional scout with his wolf buddy.

its FAR FAR easier to go up the hill, then climb down slowly the other side, locate him, then pick him out with a ranged weapon

Solo'ed as lvl 14 Druid.

Pulled him with Moonfire, switched to Bear, Demoralizing Roar, then just beat him down. Easy as pie, didn't even lose 1/2 my health.

I locate Kreenig Snarlsnout's at [58,27] he is a warrior with 327 hp and 13-23 dmg at lv15, he is easy mob like a noob.:))

I locate him from thorn hill and seek him than jump down between razormane MYSTICS and kill him after I run away i druid 15lvl its easy!

Dont dont forget the supply crates!

Kreenig is also right by the Crossroads supplies, for the quest "Supplies for the Crossroads". quest is fairly easy, I solo'ed it as a level 17 hunter.

The easiest way to take him out is to climb the hills just South of the Camp and approach him from behind. I dropped down behind him because I wanted the Supply crates for that quest as well which were right next to him. He pretty much circles a small area at the back of the canyon. You may have to take one or two others out to exit the camp, but I was able to engage him without aggroing any others. Stealth is an option better than trying to clear the camp to get him. I was able to do it with my 16th level Shaman, but you could get by with a 14-15 if you are careful.
