The Barrens Oases

Speak with Tonga Runetotem at the Crossroads.

Description

The druids of Thunder Bluff sense a strange power leaking into the Barrens, east of Mulgore.

Tonga Runetotem was sent to discover the source of this power, but we fear he will need aid.

Travel to the Barrens and speak with Tonga. He will be at the Crossroads. To reach there, take the road east out of Bloodhoof village. Enter the Barrens, then turn north when the road forks. Continue north and you will find the Crossroads.

And do not leave the road, <name>, for the Barrens is a harsh land.

This quest can only be done by tauren because they usualy enter The Barrens from the Mulgore side. But since other races enter from the Durotar side, there is no need for this q. Therefor, forget this q exists, and go straight for the next,

Called: The Forgotten Pools

You can get it from Tonga Runetotem, at cords: 52.31.

And that should do the trick :) good luck!

You can always go back to quests, they will never become "not availble" if you are above the recommended level!
This is the beginning quest which eventually ends at Leaders of the Fang

This quest chain opens up the Wailing Caverns quest line: Leaders of the Fang. In order to complete that quest (and get your Wingblade or Crescent Staff), you MUST complete this line first.

From what I can see, if you're a young Tauren emerging from Mulgore, Krige Sternhorn in Camp Taurajo will give you this quest. Otherwise, Tonga Runetotem in Crossroads will send you to the Forgotten Pools anyway.

If you already have the quest "The Forgotten pool" that yuo get from the NPC in the Crossroads, you can no longer pick this quest. Don't worry and move on :)
