Description

Well met, <class>. I've something that might interest you.

I have in my possession a set of armor much like the one worn by those of your profession, but of much higher quality. I'd be willing to trade the bracers for ordinary ones in exchange for a small favor.

The blood of the frostsabers and bears that inhabit Winterspring has properties I'm in need of at the moment. Bring me a sizeable sample of it along with the bracers and a small amount of gold. You shall find the effort worth your while.

For the Darkmantle Bracers quest, you need to go North-west of winterspring to grind for Winterspring Blood Sample..Frostsabers drop this item. i collected 15 samples in 1 hour..Plus 20g is not that much money cause if u r a skinner you will at least skin 30 rugged leathers.

yeh, the Pride watchers that are within the inner part of the Frostsaber rock area appear to have a 100% drop rate of blood. too me ~25 mins to finish the quest. They always dropped a blood for me.

on earthen ring, the bracers go for <20 gold 90% of the time. the 20 gold can be easily made from simple questing and auctioning loot. the only downside to this quest is the time needed to get the blood samples, which is more of a test of patience than of the gold in your pocket. all in all, if you're still using shadowcraft bracers, this will keep you going up until your next upgrade and is well worth it.

The drop for these is really good.

Put my poisons on before I started and when I finished my poisons still had 14 minutes left. (That was with me tabbing out to Firefox a few times too.)

This quest may be Obtained at L58. The requirements are:

Shadowcraft Bracer
Blood Samples
20g

This is true for all classes simply replace 'Shadowcraft' with class set name.

The followup sends you to a quest in Tanaris which starts the upgrade for, if I'm not mistaken, Belt and Gloves of the set (in one go).

And yes you can start this quest at any time beyond L58 though since The Burning Crusade these upgrades are really only viable for a level or two.

It seems that the level requirements have been changed, I was able to accept this quest with lvl 58 prior to patch 2.0.

I have another lvl 55 char and I will check back when the earliest chance to accept the quest is, now that patch 2.0 is live.

The Frostsabers at Frostsaber Rock in Winterspring only the White ones drop the Blood sample not the striped ones it took me 30min to get all 15

I wonder why it's tagged for dungeon, probably Blizz' mistake. ^^
Well, I really think they're worth the money, I'm lucky i had the bracers already, so it's just grinding and give 20G.

main reason that blizz has this set to a dungeon quest is because the actual shadowcraft peices drop in dungeons.&nbsp yes, if you have the peice, then it is easy pickins, but if you do not, then you have to work a bit for em (drop rates suxor because the bloody mobs drop easch classes' peice.&nbsp for example, the shadowcraft cap drops off of darkmaster gandling, but he also drops the devout crown, valor helmet, ect.&nbsp you need to go through dungeons to get the quest.
