Description

Yes, it is true that I am familiar with this enchantment you require, <class>. Yet I'm not one to give out favors freely, even if you were sent here by an old friend.

I hold nothing but hatred and contempt for our brutish ogre neighbors. And not only them, I hate the followers of Omokk just as much as I hate those that follow King Gordok.

I want you to kill them. Kill lots of them! Bring me the beads they carry around their neck as proof of your work. Do this and we shall talk about your request.

Best way to complete this quest is to farm DM north (non tribute run). Beads also drop from the ogres in the DM courtyard and LBRS, but will take you a much longer time.

According to WoWWiki, the droprate is as follows:
Outside of DM: 1/50
DM North: 1/10
LBRS: 1/7

"Although the drop rate is much higher in Lower Blackrock Spire, there are also far fewer ogres in that instance. It will require multiple runs of either instance to obtain all of the Ogre Warbeads required." :)

Not looking forward to do this, tho.. Hoorah for yet another instance grind :(

I did one Tribute run, and got 13 of these.

The droprate goes (roughly) as follows: Dire Maul (Outside): 1:30, Dire Maul (North): 1:5, Lower Blackrock Spire: 1:2.&nbsp

FYI guys, at least in my experience...&nbsp Me and a friend farmed the first few guys in DM North. The first 5 mobs seem to drop at least one per mob. We reset 5 times, and I currently have about 20 beads. This seems to be the most efficient way to do it. Good luck guys!

I did one Tribute run and got 17, then farmed the other 8 outside in a couple hours.&nbsp Maybe I got lucky, but I think the drop rate was no worse than 1:10 outside.

I would bet that these things don't drop in LBRS at all unless you're in a 5man.

Took me about 5 hours and 588 combined Ogre-Mages, Maulers and Enforcers to get the 25 beads. I did all of it outside of DM in the courtyard area and in the hallway-ish place right before the courtyard area.

DM north is the best place to get the quest items. I got 15 in one run, so you just have to run it twice and you'll finish the quest

When i first got the Quest, i started grinding outside of DM... You could say im lucky, because after like, 5-7 hours i got 12. Now im going for normal runs with my guild, but NOT skipping the ogres. The droprate on this quest is just stopid, and for items, not th�t good, it could be a waste of time, if your in a raiding guild. But, The upgraded part looks cool,so what im gonna do is : keep on going.

The drop rate on this quest is CRAZY low.&nbsp I've killed about 100 ogres solo outside of DM, and have only recieved 3 Ogre Warbeads.

I went on a LBRS spire run earlier and none of them dropped.&nbsp Its was strange and frustrating at the same time.

However, it might have been due to fact that i was in a 10 man raid.&nbsp Since quests and such can only be done that way sometimes.

Do i have to be in a 5man to collect the beads from LBRS or did i just have horrible luck?

lol... any thoughts?

Drop rates are pretty annoying, I got mine from LBRS mostly, tried farming the ogres outside DM but the drop rate is terrible. The ogres inside DM north have an ok droprate but because usually you tend to skip all these for tribute runs LBRS is better (it also seems to have a slightly higher droprate in LBRS then DM).

DM north has the best droprate actually... i ran LBRS 3 times and i only gotten... like about 6 total... i ran DM north once and got maybe 6 there! and outside of DM i was farming for about 2 hours and got 1 only... >.< a tip.. LFG DM NORTH seriously.. it's best and once you are done you can just go into the library... simple! =)

had my guild run nme through dire maul North 1.5 times and got them all. took just over an hour. People who solo'd this outside the instance, i salute you.

I ran DM North and got 15 warbeads, then decided I would try to get the rest from the mobs outside the instance. The drop rate off the ogres in front of DM really sucks but it's doable with a bit of patience and alot of food and/or water. I got 4 in probably about two hours worth of farming.

I finally gave up and did DM North with some guildies, and the last bunch I needed dropped off the first few ogre mobs in ten minutes. Do yourself a favor, get a DM North group together... it's much easier.

Was doing UBRS key gemstone runs in LBRS in a raid group and didn't get a single bead. So I would say that they don't drop in a raid group.

yes, but the drop rate is complete @#$%. you get 1/hour if you're lucky outside (4%).

inside is 20% and is supposed to take 2 runs.

in any case, nobody runs this @#$% anymore so zZz...

i suggest you find a group for DM north or LBRS.. grinding them near DM entrance is a pain in the ass, did grind 10 of them there, while doing that i have seen more blue drops then that.

And farmed about 50G or so
