Find Apothecary Staffron Lerent in the Hillsbrad Foothills behind Ravenholdt Manor.

Description

What? Treason? No, no. I assure you, my intentions are completely harmless.

Is it so wrong to help those who wish to ease the painful ritual of courtship? Come, that is no crime.

And to prove that I mean no harm, I will even tell you my source.

They were shipped to me by a Staffron Lerent, an apothecary of some sort. I never spoke with him.

Our goblin middle man said that he worked in the foothills over Hillsbrad past that mysterious Ravenholdt Manor. I wish you luck in finding him.

Staffron Lerent is EXTREMELY difficult to find. Let me see if I can make it simple. There is a path that starts at 75,24 that zig zags up into the hills. At 78,20 there is a cave entrance. Go through that cave and it will take you to Ravenholdt Manor at 83,18. Go southeast. At 83,20 there is a circle of ropes and a path due south of that up into the hill. At 85,25 there is a small drop. Go down that and turn left. You will see another path going up the hill that will lead to Staffron Lerent at 87,14. I'm a level 26 druid and I got 1650 xp plus a red dress from the cauldron. Not worth the effort in my opinion. Let me know if my directions are helpful or just got you more confused.

And for people without coordinates.... go northwest of Durnholde Keep. There is a big plateau thing on the map next to the river. Go right to the top of that and you should find the zig zag path.

You need to go to 75,24 there start a path the lead you to a cave/tunnel 77,18 when you come out your in Ravenholdt Manor, go to the right site 84,25. then you can go down and go left right away. then just follow the path and you get him :)

The coords are crazy...

87,14.

Apparently there is a place there for rogue quests early on in the game (I'm a priest/mage so I never knew about the place until now).&nbsp You go there and follow the path up to a building.&nbsp Then, off to the right of the building, you keep climbing and you'll come across the guy way back in there.&nbsp Took me a bit to find him, too.&nbsp Hope this helps!

After you complete this quest the ghost of a human female appears, and the following conversation unfolds:

Annalise Lerent says: Staffron...
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: Annalise? Is that you?
Annalise Lerent says: My dear Staffron, have you forgotten what it is to love? The love that we once shared?
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: Have I forgotten? Of course I have... I have forgotten about love, happiness... of life itself.
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: But I do know this - love makes the heart and body weak. It can be exploited. Without your love, I have only my work, Annalise.
Annalise Lerent says: But of course I love you, Staffron. And it pains me to see you suffer so.
Annalise Lerent says: I pledge my love to you forever. Death cannot erase that, even as I am sure that you still remember your love for me.
Annalise Lerent says: And if you do not, then I am truly lost.
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: How could you love me, Annalise? Look at me. I am not the man you once knew.

[Annalise begins to fade out]

Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: Annalise? Annalise! No, don't leave me!

[Staffron cries]

Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: Annalise... you're right. I-I can't do this. I must find another way.
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: You there. You're welcome to take the contents of my cauldron. It was to be the second stage of my plan - amorous clothing.

Once you talk to him, make sure you click on the cauldron so you can get the reward for the quest:

Why all this "no use doing this quest, lousy xp"?

This is supposed to be fun, feel good about urself finishing this quest.

Yeah, some people just think "XP" all the time, then just say that this quest doesn't give much XP and you get a red dress. To say "no use doing it" is just trying to put ur XP-madness on us others, let us choose if we like to do these seasonal quests or not. I don't do them for the XP, I do it for the fun.

It's a game. You should play for fun. When it get serious u should seek professional help and stop playing the game. :P

the entrance to the path is at 75,22.&nbsp There is another path to the southeast of the manor that takes you the rest of the way back.

This part of the quest cannot be completed after the Valentine's Day holiday is over. I left this quest in my log for about three months before deciding to get it out of the way, but Staffron wasn't there.

1) the coords are 89-75 on Alterac Mountains ''side''
2) But you need to go through 89-19 on Hillsbrad Foothills ''side''
3) In order to get to 89-19 go to Ravenholst Manor and run by the lill arena behind the Manor go up the little hill and make a left as you drop fallow the path north and you'll find that Undead Apothecary
4) Don't forget to right click on the cauldron to get your dress/shirt!

Did this quest, found the end guy without too much difficulty, but I didn't get any xp for doing any part of it. Not sure if it's a bug or if they just took it out, but I didn't get any at any step, level 44 human rogue.

path is at 75,24, you'll see a cave, go through that.
The manor is 84,79.

Walk to the right of the manor, it is not just behind or on the side, you have a bit of walking to do.
The guy is at 89,75.

There is a cauldron sitting next to him, click that and your reward will be one of 4 dresses or one of 2 shirts.

&nbsp IF you are not interested in those, don't do the quest it is hardly worth it if you don't want any of those.

My character finally got there and the guy and cauldron are indeed gone.&nbsp I still have the quest in my log though.

Per chi � senza coordinate: vai a nort ovest di Durnholde Keep. C'� un grande montagna spezzetata [vedere screen part1]sulla mappa vicino al fiume . vai a destra in cima a quello e dovresti trovare il sentiero a zig zag che ti conduce alla grotta poi seguite gli screen

Many thanks to all the previous posters. Having bailed out of the Valentine's Day stuff because I never could get more than one city completed, I started to take a look at the time spent vs. the reward. It's nuts.

You would be much better off to work on a skill. Even a secondary skill like fishing (Deviate Fish sell for 3-5G/20 on my server) will produce much better rewards and take much less time.

Don't misunderstand I think these seasonal quests are usually terrific. My Lunar Festival dress is the best thing I've been able to find in Azeroth (Except for the colors - who is responsible for those choices?) and the Red Dress pattern is terrific. I still have snowballs left over from Christmas.

But Valentine's Day has always been a kind of second-rate Hallmark holiday anyway and clearly the same is true in Azeroth.

I found the path, followed it up past Ravenholdt, and am standing in am empty clearing at 87,14.&nbsp There's a decent view, a nice pond with a fallen tree in it, but no apothecary.

Did I miss it?

If you head northwest from the northwest corner of the Keep - you will come to the path that takes you up.

That path sort of winds around on itself until you come to the cave.&nbsp Thru that cave and head right past the "rope circle" (there are torches in the ground).&nbsp

As said above - at the end of that, there is a small drop down.&nbsp Turn left and you will see the path up that takes you to the guy.

Am submitting screenshots that may be helpful.

this is hard to find and at lvl 37 aggro wasnt a problem but I was helpin a 26 mage and she pulled aggro from pretty far(I ended up hitting 38). Had to quit after 2 hrs and still had missed the path. I know where the camp is but finding the cave/path on the way to hinterlands eluded us.

Go to Ravenholdt Manor... to get to the manor, there's a path in the mountains at (72,23) in Hillsbrad Foothills. Go through the cave at (77,19) to get to Ravenholdt Manor. East of the manor is a small path up the mountains, go up there. You'll see the path to Hinterlands, just (carefully ) turn left (north) and follow the path along the mountain, and you should find him at (87,14), and get a nice dress or shirt from the cauldron.

Because it took me forever to figure this out - do hook a hard right as soon as you come out of the cave. It will lead you to what looks like a dropoff, but you will find you can run down it. Hook a left here and you will see on the minimap that there is a green valley in the mountains that you can run north along. He is at the end of that valley. Click him to complete the quest, and the cauldron to get your reward.

Fortunately, female characters aren't stuck with the awful dress - my lady mage looks quite charming in the blue dinner suit.

I just completed this one and got the outfit and 1750xp. Completed with a lvl 29 hunter w/ pet bear. Easy enough to get past the beasts and the guards at Ravenholdt.

As you face the manor, go to the right of the manor and proceeed out on the "outside" of the mountain behind the manor. Turn left and follow the path up to a small lake, there is the Apocathery.

The guy you are looking for is at loc 89, 75 in the Alterac Mtns. The directions the previous poster gave were very accurate, thanks. The reward for this quest is pretty much nothing. No xp just a piece of clothing.

to get to apothecary Staffron Lerent go to hillsbrand foothills, here head to 75.23 (follow river, then turn right), then you find an hidden path, climb up till manor, when facing manor, turn right, there is a "way out" wich make you fall on the path to the north wich lead you to the right npc at 87.14.

After quest completion, wait a while, it starts a funny show.
When it finishes, you can right click the cauldron and get a lovely dresses (Unique San Valentino Item for collectors only) !

"Ravenholdt is located in the Hillsbrad Hills, in the NORTH EAST part of the map. It is north of Durnholde. Do not get dicouraged if you can't find the path immediately, as it's somewhat obscured by trees and hills. When you do find it, you will come to a cave with a single chest in it." Taken from Anonymous

Easy way to find it - look at the "H" in DURNHOLDE.... the path to the cave is DIRECTLY north at the base of the mountains.

Edit: The guy you are looking for is actually in Alterac Mountains. The path you find after coming out of the cave and going to the right, then turning left as you crest the hill(***Contrary to the below posts, you are actually not "dropping off" anywhere), leads you there. The map shows a north-south green valley - follow it to him.
