Bring a Webwood Egg to Gilshalan in Aldrassil.

Description

Now that I have the spiders' venom, I'd like some live specimens to study. Unfortunately, capturing a living, giant spider is more than I can ask of you, young <class>. And a giant spider is more than I could handle myself!

But if you can find an unhatched egg, then delivering specimens will be much easier, and I can then arrange for the unhatched spiders to be contained.

There must be a nest deep in the Shadowthread Cave. Please, search for an egg in the nest and return it to me.

Go to the cave to the North. Go in the cave, you may need to kill a few spiders. Head straight down the passage than you'll come a folk, two to the right and one to the left. Take the one to the North East. This will take to through to a "left or right" spot, go left. This will take you to a hook bend, after the hook bend, the eggs are infront of you. Take a wide birth to the right and you will only have to take on two spiders. I've now done this solo as a lvl 5 NE Hunter twice and lvl 5 NE Druid once.

The "Crown of the Earth" quest series is rather tricky to get started.&nbsp You can't pick it up in the middle, apparently, but must start in the Dark Elf newbie zone of Aldrassil.

First talk to Gilshalan Windwalker in Aldrassil at tloc 58,42.&nbsp Right-click on him even if he does not have a quest icon above his head.&nbsp You need to do his two quests:After completing "Webwood Egg", Right-click on him again (even if he does not have a quest icon above his head).&nbsp This time he gives you:Go up the ramp next to Gilshalan all the way to the top room and talk to Tenaron Stormgrip who will give you the first "Crown of Earth" quest.You are now hooked up and completing each quest will automatically get you the next one in the series.

you'll find the eggs in the far back of the cave, guarded by a named level 5 spider.

Enter cave, take the left tunnel, jump off the drop, turn to your left and follow the tunnel, you'll reach the egg chamber.

To get the egg, you need to go to the center of the spider cave. You will see white egg sacks wiggling. Right click to "open" the egg and collect it.

When you go into the cave, take the central path (not left or right). Then follow that path, leading left when it splits (the eggs are on a high ledge).

The eggs are at 57,26
The cave is at 57,32

You can also wall jump up really close to the eggs. Just go straight in the cave and follow it straight in until you see the spider up top with all the eggs you can click on. Turn right from there and you can jump up that side. You have to kill far less spiders this way.
