Crane Operator Bigglefuzz in Ratchet wants you to retrieve the bottle of 99-Year-Old Port from Mad Magglish who is hiding in the Wailing Caverns.

Oops!

Had a little mishap, as you can see! The morning cargo shipment from Booty Bay was huge. Huge I say! Never seen so many crates. Well, I was trying to expedite things so I started unloading a bit more than I could handle. That's when everything came tumbling down.

Before I knew what was going on, I saw that menace, Mad Magglish, go running off with a bottle of 99-year-old port. Chased him all the way to Wailing Caverns. No way I was going in there.

OK--I camped this guy with a friend last night, here's the deal.&nbsp He has 2 spawn points that we found:

51/54, which is a split-off of the main path, it takes you down into a little area where there are bones (a rib cage) and a little fire, some boxes/crates/baskets, etc.&nbsp He SOMETIMES spawns here, but not frequently.

52/55 is the other loc, and this is in a little cubby off to the right of the main entrance.&nbsp He spawns here more frequently.

His spawn times seem to be about 6 to 10 minutes.&nbsp After he dies, it took about 6 minutes for him to spawn, 2 times in a row.&nbsp We waited for him for about 45 minutes at the 51/54 location, he never spawned there (but when we first got there his corpse was there, so he does spawn there sometimes).&nbsp He did spawn frequently at the 52/55 location.&nbsp

He tends to spawn in one of two places:
-when you first enter the caves and it turns to the right, at the first intersection there's a little alcove/short branch that goes about 10' in.&nbsp He has Stealth, so you may not spot him til he starts pummelling you.

-instead of turning right at the intersection, go straight and drop off slightly (about 6' - no damage) - and he may be there.&nbsp There's usually a deviate here, too, so be careful.

Mad Magglish isn't in Wailing caverns the instance, but he is in that same cave. He is in a dead end before you enter the final big room of the cave. You can jump down to him from a ledge, but be careful because there are stealthed raptors close to him.

After doing this with multiple character, i found that this dude has&nbsp >> 3&nbsp << Spawn Points

1st, when you enter (follow the cave to the right), first right (small bend in cave walll)

2nd, when you enter and follow the cave path to the right then straight ahead, down in a ditch

3rd is when you enter WC, first left, then you come to a tiny lake, more like a pool, you can go 2 ways, right to WC Portal, left to a dead-end cave, this is the 3rd spawn point

I found that this person's comments from above were the most accurate:

The only thing I would ADD to it is that when you are checking these locations make sure you actually run all around in them...because since this guy stealths you wont see him until you aggro him...so run in and make a few circles before you decide he's not there.

I found him at the third location after watching the first two for 25 minutes! So make sure you check all three.

This Mob spawns in more than one location.&nbsp One is at the front of the caves in the little niche along the right wall.&nbsp The second is near a camp a little ways into the caves.&nbsp Just follow the left wall and stop at the campfire.&nbsp I think there is a 3rd spot but since i'm alliance now and not horde I haven't had a chance to verify it.

Seems he spawn to the right, a little nook in the cave, or farther ahead at the dead end that drops down. The thing is he is stealthed goblin so you have to get up close for him to appear.

Very easy to solo... He has 2 different spawn places ... One on the right of the firts lake and one on the left. He is stealthed but as long as ou are 18 + he stands out.

As of patch 2.3, Mad Mugglish isn't Elite any longer.

We found him, stealthed, in yet a third place: at the end of the first dead end to the right after entering the caverns, in the middle bar of what looks a little like the letter "E".

I was killing the Raptors near the start at lv. 18 to try and get to the first pool to fish, and see how the deviate fish pop. is in there comparied to the outside pools. Anyways I killed the first couple raptors and backed up into the little corner/alcove he spawns in, near the entrance of the cave. Well luckly I finished of the raptor and it took every thing I had and a mana pot but I solo'd this guy. So a lv 18 Hunter can solo this quest. Not to shabby =)

Did they change the spawn rate for this mob? I have checked all three locations while doing the Deviate Hide quest in the outer section of the instance and have yet to see him show.

Finally got him. He was in the + intersection at the very beginning, in the southern tip of the +, in a little nook in the wall. Took 35 minutes to find him.

Finally found him! after like an hour, he is somewhat a ghost so he wont attack you. He is at 52,55 and he is level 17, when you walk in there is somewhat of a dead end on the right.

it should be mentioned that the npc is stealthed. you wont be able to see him untill you are close, but you can see him before he aggros.

This is alot easier then it sounds. It really is LISTEN CLOSLY!

when you go in there is a let way that leads to the water DONT GO THAT WAY. go strait and drop off the end little ledge. If your still facing the wall he is to your right. he is invised but if you move around in the little corner he will show up in less then 2 sec.

watch out for the raptor down there too.

He's in three spots.

When you enter the cave he will be in a small cutout thing to the right, before the dropoff.

Or he'll be right after the dropoff if you just run right into the cave.

Or he'll be in a smaller outset. When you enter the cave take a left and keep left, it will go down and you'll see a small straw bed and stuff.

I'm not sure what the trouble is with him, he goes invis sure, but as long as you dont try doing this quest during peak times while everyone is running in and out of the cave, he isnt hard to find. I just ran in this morning, turned the corner and boom there he was.

just for those that need to know he's a goblin

i found him right near the entrance on the right handside, in a very unnoticable little gap. He's lv18, not sure what type he is but he doesn't have a pet/summon or use duel weapons.

Just FYI incase anyone had any questions about it...He's a lvl 18 (elite). So don't go in there thinking he's just a regular 18. HE IS ELITE.

I was in WC helping some lv 11 hunter tame a lv 10 elite I didnt think it existed but it does.I see it move forward and this guy seems to come out of nowhere and aggros me. Hes 18 elite.The hunter attacks gets aggro and dies oh my god im thinking im screwed.My void walker attacks gets killed while i attack.He comes after i start spammin searing pain die soul stone res get 3 more searing pains off hes at like 3% health get killed again im thinking WTF.My advice if a lv 11 blood elf hunter asks to help him tame a 10 elite in wailing carvens SAY NO!!!

hey guys um well i found the guy first detour on the left.. there were no invis raptor guards or nething um i managed to solo him (18 hunter) but um idunno i guess u mite not b able to for some reason unknown to me. and i think he actually spawns in same place cuz guy above me said he could drop down to him and were i found him u could drop down too.. o and hes invis so if ur 14 u mite need some help finding him.. or just run round til he aggros.

I found him in about 20 mins. He was stealthed in the most common spot in the dead end, I checked there multiple times I guess I just had to wait for him to spawn. Good Luck!
