Collect 10 Moontouched Feathers from Winterspring, then return to Erelas Ambersky in Rut'theran Village.

Description

Wildkin feathers from the Hinterlands appear to contain traces of magical qualities. These powers... they don't seem to be wielded by the creatures, it's more like they are simply inherent to the species -- part of their very essence.

During my studies, I heard that a large population of wildkin inhabit the snowy lands of Winterspring. Could these creatures have the same powers? Please help me find an answer, <name>. Go to Winterspring and gather feathers that have dropped to the ground, then return to me.

Found most of my feathers a little east and west of the timbermaw post, got some up near frostsaber rock though. Best place for these is at the post:

I have theory about how these feathers spawn.&nbsp On the road at 64,53 there are 4 spawn points around the road at about:

65,52
63,54
66,53

There is ONE feather that will spawn at one of these four locations.&nbsp I just rode around the area, found one, looted it, and sure enough withing a minute or so, it would spawn at another one of the locations.&nbsp &nbsp I did my entire quest in this one area.&nbsp I never saw more than one feather at a time, and it was never in the same place twice in a row, but of course that may have just been a statistical anomaly.&nbsp There are other feathers around Winterspring of course, and I am betting they all work the same way.

Im standing in 44,43 right now ... and looking around me i can see 5 feathers.

looted �em all , killed 6 winterfall mobs , came back and there was 5 again.

how easy can it be..

They are light blue feathers. Just like the ones in the Hinterlands, they are on the ground. I found a lot near the lake.

I can't get the quets from him ? The only quest he got for me is Favored of Elune, i'm lvl 55 and that's the only quest he has, is there anything i have to do to get it ?

Basiclly the whole hill around 44,44 (just to the right of timbermaw post) is covered with feathers.

The feathers being lootable items on the ground.

Only had to kill 3 mobs.

Very easy.

I also found some at Ice Thistle Hills. If you're also doing "Are We There Yeti" # 1 or 2 you'll spend a good bit of time here, so keep a good lookout and you'll find some.

With the Hordies pwning Winterspring these days, it's a Long corpse run if ya get whacked! ..

&nbsp But in between Donna and the Post there I was able to pick up all 10 (with andother 5-6 still arouond on the ground)in less than 10 min .. 55 Warrior, Easy XP for being in the area .

For those without Cosmos or other co-ordinate mod, I found all 10 feathers within 5 minutes in the area surrounding Donova Snowden's camp.
That's the West side of Winterspring, just south of the road as it turns north to Timbermaw.

For those *with* co-ords, the area around 30,44

Within sight of Everlook and pretty much within sight of each other there is a triad of these feathers at 60,33 59,34 and 58,32. Rotating between the three you will have your 10 in no time. By the way, at one of these locs, I forget exactly which, is a wandering 56 elite bear by the name of Ursius.

If you don't use a /loc utility look up Ursius and check the map.

Didn't see any comments here, from the quest text, for me at least, it wasn't obvious that the feathers are not drops, but are strewn around the land.

So no killing needed, just search for 'm blueish feathers in the snow :)

I found most of the feathers around 45,43. For those without coords mods, it's on the south side of the main road as you head east from Timbermaw Hold, just before the fork.

There are tons of feathers near Timbermaw Post, east of where Donova is.

Also, they appear in fixed locations, so if you grab one you can come back and grab it again once it respawns.

44,44 spawn 3 at a time in an area, then go a little more west and 3 more are there then go back and the last 3 have spawned.

West of Lake Kel'Theril, in the valley is a prime spot for these feathers.&nbsp You can usually avoid all of the mobs and gather all the feathers you need.&nbsp Great spot.

I found most of mine in a circle right next to Delorana....(I think that is how you spell her name). The NPC just down the road from the entrance to WInterspring. Careful of the aggro.

I found the Wintersrping pick-up-feathers quest to be more irritating than the one in Hinterlands. The feathers tend to be much fewer and farther in between, and of course, the beasts are high lvl. I don't know if they spawn in the same places all the time, but in case they do, here's where I picked mine up...

You'll notice those last four are very close together! They're basically in areas around ruined buildings.

When you find a good spot with some feathers (f.eks. 65,54) just wander in a little radius and kill some mobs, cause the spawn rate of the feathers are good. No need for wandering all around the map.
