Find Teronis in Ashenvale.

Description

<name>, a longtime friend of mine is also aiding the Sentinels here in Ashenvale, but he has yet to return.

He had leads on finding an item that he thought could slow the furbolg attacks on our people--a rod created by a now-dead, evil wizard.

Before he left here, he mentioned seeking out a gem for the rod.

He mentioned the gem possibly being hidden at the shrine in Lake Falathim at the base of the mountain to the west. The gem was being held there before it was overrun.

Find my friend, <name>, please.

The body lay on the island at 20,42

First after looting the body you will get the next step of the quest witch is getting the gemstone. This gem is a random drop from a murloc.

You can find his corpse at Lake Falathim, which lies to the west of Maestra's post (which is north of Astranaar, if you're unfamiliar with the area). His corpse is on the small island in the middle of this lake. Make sure to keep the journal he gives you.

this quest doesnt involve a "gem drop", that is next part of the quest. this part of quest simply requires you to talk to Teronis' Corpse at the little island in Lake Falathim and quest is done

go to maestra's post and head west fallowing the mountain soon you will see a lake and thats it it is called lake falathim

Just kill the warriors and puddlejumpers, if you're lvl 19-20, and you'll be fine. The Oracles are tougher. The gem dropped after 5 kills...

if the quest had said NORTH&nbsp I might have looked by Maestra's post, but it said WEST...I sure appreciate those who comment here. I could never get most of these quests done otherwise. btw I downloaded cosmos, reluctantly, and finally, but can't get it to work...so I'm no further ahead in that department. Thanks to all of those who don't use coordinates!
I did finally find the lake, it's not exactly on the beaten path, and I did finally kill enough murlocs to get the gem...probably 30 or so.

Just to note. The gem is a random drop but I had to kill about 50 murlocs before I got it. I didn't drop the quest and pick it back up. I doubt that does anything. I just kept on killing the buggers and eventually it dropped (from a normal guy.. no boss or anything).

Finding the lake and the body was easy.... but finding the glowing stone took me some work.

Killed almost everything for the 2nd time before i got it from a lvl 20 puddlejumper walking with a warrior at 20,42.

No gem, and I'm lvl 21 now. Only thing I have noticed is a Saltspittle Warrior and puddlejumper circling the lake, these two seem grouped, no others appear to be teamed this way. Haven't killed the two together yet.

yes, the warrior had the gem.

AFTER YOU TALK TO THE BODY ON FAR LEFT THERE IS A WARRIOR AND SOMEONE ELSE WITH HIM SLAY THOSE 2 AND THE WARRIOR DOES NOT HAVE THE GEM .. THE OTHER GUY DOES.. TOOK ME ABOUT 30 SECONDS TO DO THIS AT LEVEL 22.. IT LEVELED ME UP TO 23.VERY EASY TO DO IF YOU HAVE CAT FORM AND CAN STEALTH.COULD EASILY HAVE DONE THIS AT A LOWER LEVEL. THIS QUEST HAS SEVERAL PARTS TO IT..

I talked to the body and went on to kill the murlocs.
i killed about 40 or 50 of them.
while i was doing this another group came in and got the gem on their first kill - extremely frustrating.
but got it after about the 50th one.
so stick at it!

Just be sure to complete the quest "talking" to the corpse and you'll be ok to get the gem. It isn't a 100% drop, obviously, but it should drop within 5-10 warriors.

With my 22 Elf Rogue I did this in 3 critters- Killed one on the way to the island to pick up the journal. Killed an oracle in the water next- no drop. Headed to the shore to the right of the body (if you're facing the body) and killed a warrior in the weeds and got the drop. So I guess that was only two kills if you want to get technical about it. Must search the body first!

20, 42 Is the corpse.
Bunch of level 20 murlocs running around and a Sprint type move so be carful for those lower levels doing this quest.

In order to find the 'corpse' of Teronis, follow the road west out of Astranaar. Follow it till you come to Maestra's Post. When you reach the building to the far western end of Maestra's Post, turn south and run along the mountains.

You'll reach a small lake - Lake Falathim. In the center of the lake, there's a small island, where the corpse is. In order to reach the island, you'll have to fight several murlocs if you're at the correct level for this quest.

Go to the island in Lake Falathim (in the hollow southwest of Maestra's Post). Talk to the corpse there (Teronis's Corpse). Look up "Teronis" if you can't find it.
