Head further East or West from the road to find these ones. Easiest to find in the area Southeast from the Kurzen camp and Northeast from the Venture Company Base Camp around 48,14.

Not hard to find these Stranglethorn Tigers but there doesn't seem to be a place where they all gather. They seem to mix around with the Panthers quite a bit.

Most are found in the area surrounding 30,15 so it's worth a shot. And a lot more of them were found at 29,10.

Don't waste your time at 30,15. 46,14 is by FAR a better spot. I spent like 20 minutes trying to get 2 kills at 30,15 and never found any. Finally gave up and went over to 46,14 and got the kills easily. Well worth the small walk.

Are best found at 30,9 just west/southwest of where you got the quest.

For those of you that don't have coordinates (like me) follow these instructions: Start at Nesingwary's Expedition. Go west down the river until you meet the point where the river goes up into the mountains that make the northern border of Stranglethorn. Then, keep going west on land until you find this area where the land elevates. Go up on top of that, and you find your plain ol' Stranglethorn Tigers. Happy hunting!

I found all of the REGULAR STV Tigers and REGULAR STV Panthers that i needed at 25, 10. I hope this helps.

the 46,13 area is MUCH better than the 30,14 area.

The former you can find around 6-7 around at once, while the latter you will only find 2-3, and those are scattered among panthers.

Go east, across the river for these tigers.

this quest goes nice with second lvl of "Panther Mastery" and "Raptor Mastery" as the mobs spawns in the same area

I spent about 1.5 hours wandering about that place looking for the effing tigers...the only tiger-like thing I saw near the venture camp and 45.14 was a level 37 tigress, harr. Eventually, after I'd killed the same one four times, I decided to give up and just camp it. It's at 37,12.

Edit to add: Nah, I didn't actually camp one tiger, that'd be pretty retarded ) I did find a bunch around 29,10 though. (so yeah, I second the people who said 28,10 or 28,11)

This is easy for a hunter track beast and head down the water from the camp up the ramp on the hill and you should start picking them up on the map there and in the valley below, mosty in the valley next to the humanoids. Those are country boy directions if you did not notice.

is just north east of the camp and near of the panther.. so u can do 2 quest in 1 1300XP at 34 and no reputation!

Although these tigers do spawn around the Nesingwary camp (though not as common as young tigers), that place sometimes get *really* crowded with other players also looking for them.

As others have said, if finding Stranglethorn Tigers that is still alive proves to be a problem, remember that you can find more tigers by crossing back the bridge towards Duskwood. Many spawns, and tends to be somewhat less crowded.
