So granted you keep your rank for a couple of weeks - even if your HKs do not keep up with a Knight-Captain rank. Uhm, what happens when I lose that rank? I get to keep the leggings but I can't use them!

These mail legs aren't bad - just wish the PvP reward system worked differently.

Item use is based on highest rank attained. I'm a grunt at the moment, but at one point i had dipped back to scout, and the insignia still worked. Once you attain the rank, you keep the benefits even if you lose your rank. As far as i can tell, anyway.
