Collect 4 Grizzled Scalps from Grizzled Thistle Bears to the south of Auberdine and place them in Buzzbox 525.

Description

Over the boiling noises and dripping sounds coming from the machine, you hear Wizbang's wavering voice call out.

"Nexsht onesh far south down the road. Shouldn't be hard to find... jusht off to the shide... near a fensh. I think I hid it in shum bushesh... Bushessh. Hehehe... Yesh, Buzzbox 525 takes grizzled scalps from thoshe grizzled thistle bears. Boy thash a mouthful. Grizzshled... Hehehe..."

You hear more gulping sounds as the machine cuts out. Then, suddenly, it bursts back to life.

Buzzbox 525 is located at (41,80). Its on your right hand side if you are heading southbound on the path to Ashenvale.

Just killed a dozen to get my first scalp.&nbsp I wonder why all those others were walking around scalpless...&nbsp Poor bears someone musta scalped 'em alive!&nbsp :'(

Reminds me of quests to collect heads and apparently some mobs forgot to attach their heads... <_<

Its located at far south of the map, follow the road path to the south, pass ancient grove. It sits along the road on the right side, if u heading south.

Also, you can find most of the Grizzled Thistle Bears just south of the Grove of Ancients, and due west from there across the road. Lots of aggro bears and cats, so be careful.

yes the coords are (41,80) and i had a 40% droprate which wasent bad at all because just to the east of the buzzbox and just south of Grove Of The Ancients there are loads of them around the "pond"

The Grizzled Bears can be found south from Amath Aran in the area around the lake (which goes into Felwood)
more to the coast ...

You can regonize them because the rapid thistle bears are grey colored, and the grizzled ones are more light brown and mostly higher level.

My level 16 Night Elf Priest had no trouble killing the grizzled thistle bears.&nbsp I found the box at 41.80 and the bears are all around that area.

First I couldn't find the buzzbox and then I couldn't find the bears and then when I did 2 or 3 of them didn't drop scalps.&nbsp Sigh.....

I took a 13 NE rogue down there (near the box which is just across the two bridges if you're heading south from aberdine just next to the grove of the ancients). It took not more than 8 kills and all were within sight of both the road and the box. I dunno if this is the best spot, and I dunno if I just got lucky but, it didn't take more than 15 minutes with only a couple adds/caught-aggro-while-searching.

The location 42,80 is right by a pool which is surrounded by about 3-4 bears.

the box is located far south of auberdine, over a bridge, a little past the entrance to grove of ancients, next to a sign post and fence. all the bears you need are on either side of the road a little into the woods. lvl 16 and 17.

Don't do the same mistake as I do, and think that the box is north of the bridge just because there are grizzled bears north of the brdige. It is a bit south of the bridge, west of the road

Theres about 3 or more Grizzled Bears at 39,70 it's before the river on the west side, closest to the shore. I killed 4 and got the 4 drops so it was easy for me. The buzzbox is just down the road some more from the bridge. You will see Grimclaw the buzzbox is on the other side of the road of him and a bit north, if you stick to the road you want miss it. Buzzbox is at 41,80 just so it doesn't get lost in the poasts.

Well a 6 slot bag ... doesnt worth it cause i have some 10 and some 8 slot. But i've killed the 4 bear already. just need to find that box... and i have to install the Mapcoor to find it easier.

Take the road south from Auberdine toward Ashenvale, go a little south of the entrance to the Grove of Ancients, Buzz Box 525 sits on the right side of the road near a small culvert.
