Description

<name>... yeah, I've heard of you. I've heard that you're no friend of Booty Bay - just like us Bloodsail Buccaneers. Fleet Master Firallon is looking for hale and hearty < men / women> just like you for a special mission.

If you're interested, head on out to the Crimson Veil and speak with him below decks. She's anchored off the Wild Coast east of here, next to the Riptide and the Damsel's Luck.

Take note that you MUST be hated with Booty Bay in order to get this quest. There is a bug/exploit you can do to get to Friendly with Bloodsail and still be friendly with Booty Bay, but you will be unable to get this quest.

Dont waste your time on the exploit. But get this hat, its very worth it for the novelty! Dont be afraid of goblin rep. You can reobtain that within hours with just about 200 gold by buying cloth and turning it in (or farm instances for it)

You can get this quest as low as level 55. I started trying to get this quest since I was level 41 and since checked back at "Pretty Boy" Duncan to see if I could get this quest.

You can farm Bloodsail rep at Faldir's Cove in Arathi Highlands if you want to finish this rep gain as early as lv 40. I started farming Bloodsail rep in Faldir's Cove at level 37.

DO all quests that raise rep with the goblin factions decrease Bloodsail Buccaneer faction as well? Looks like I may have to find different places to level up then, because the more quests I do the harder it will be once I get to 60...

Would suggest you not do any quest for BB or Ratchet as they give you hated rep for bloodsail ....just go talk to the Captain on the pirate ships first...That is if your want the Admirals hat ... you can get your Rep back rather ezly later...

I didn't see this quest at 'neutral' or 'friendly' with Bloodsail. They may have removed it. But you can still get Avast Ye Admiral and Dress the Part (?) at Friendly and Neutral respectively aboard one of the pirate ships.

Im a lvl 19, im friendly and cant talk to any of the NPC to get the quests :x

This quest was removed sometime ago. You must get to neutral to speak with the captain to get the uniform then you must be friendly to get the Avast ye' admiral quest.

I have been trying to get my reputation with bloodsail up. I am still hated, though. Is there any way to do this other than killing several million guards? Its fairly easy to get Booty Bay to hate you, but getting out of Hated for Bloodsail seems impossible... and then you have you make it through hostile, assuming you can get the quest at unfriendly when you are no longer KoS. It seems likely that you might need to get all the way to at least neutral.. anybody know?

Booty Bay bruisers only give me "very slight" reputation improvements. This doesn't go very far in a hated bar. NPC's in the bloodsail enemy faction (I cant remember the name, its the pirates in BB who give you quests to kill bloodsailers) don't seem to give better rep than the booty bay faction does.

im lvl 44 warrior and i cant find the quest guy. do i have to be a certin lvl before i can get it?
