Gizmo for Warug

Maintain your reputation with the Magram, and bring an Advanced Target Dummy to Warug in the Magram Village in Desolace.
Advanced Target Dummy
  •
Magram Clan Centaur (Friendly)

Description

Long ago, a little gnome came to Desolace. He had horses and a cart, and the cart held strange things. Funny things. Things that burned different colors. Things that moved and weren't alive. I killed the little gnome, but before that... he made me laugh.

I kept my favorite thing from his cart. It was a human made of wood and it waved at me until I hit it and broke it.

I want a new one. Get me a new one!

you were interested in aquiring a dummy and you cant find on on AH AND you do not mind putting some money into it, then here's what you need:
1 iron strut, 1 bronze framework, 1 gyrochronatom, 4 heavy leather, 1 Lvl 185 Engineer

Cant find that stuff you say? Here are the core elements:
3 iron bars, 2 bronze bars, 1 gold bar, 4 heavy leather, 1 medium leather, 1 wool cloth

Good luck and happy questing.

Both magram and gelkis suck, so just do the gelkis alliance.Thats why:
1.Gelkis have better rewards.
2.They have more sensible quests, as uthek is aiding her tribe while warug is just plain stupid and mean.
3.Magram are actually easier to kill.Just watch for the pack runners.
4.Gelkis chests in their caves you can loot when you are friendly with them.

All in all, centaurs suck.

&nbsp &nbsp ...Really. Warug asks for some stupid thing only skilled Engineers can make. I got mine by spamming the Trade Chat, and when I saw that after giving him the damned thing, he wanted me to kill some Khan, I just stopped. Sure I dd the next one but geez, what a lazy bum :D.
&nbsp &nbsp If you want to stop here in this chain, it would be sensible. However, after leaving the Magram I saw that I had to go to STV. I didn't want to, so I clicked 'At War' on the Magram Rep Bar and turned around and started killing them.
&nbsp &nbsp I highly reccomend stopping here and turning traitor to helping the Gelkis. Take the Nijel's quest and the Gelkis quest chain, and you got yourself a good two more levels out of Desolace.

I'm happy to make these for people at no charge, providing they send the mats.

I play on Dunemaul as Gringel (alliance).

The mats list, for reference, are as follows:

four heavy leather
three iron bars
two bronze bars
one gold bar
one medium leather
one wool cloth

Looking at your local AH (That is were I ended up getting mine) or you can find and engineer with skill 185 or higher and have them make it for you.&nbsp You can find the needed items to make it at the AH also.&nbsp If you are a member of a guild, ask someone to help you, or if not, use the general chat area to ask for help in making it.&nbsp Good look.

Anyone know if there is a Gelkis version of this? Looking through the Gelkis line (http://classicdb.ch/?quest=1382) suggests that you don't need to go to the AH and grab anything.

Perhaps the Gelkis chain is a better way to go to avoid having to do this? Though if you are prepared before you go to desolace then it's easy xp.

EDIT: For Gelkis you have to go out to Swamp of Sorrow to kill a named 'Lost One' for a drop. So if you can find/afford a dummy, get one before you head over and you should be able to do this chain without having to leave desolace and go hiking...

Finishing the Gizmo for Warugquest is a waste of time other then the fact that if you do it at 36/37 you get Khan Shaka quest.&nbsp The Advanced Target dummy is just to expensive to get.

First quest is in Nijel's Point this is the fourth quest.&nbsp The first one brings you to friendly.&nbsp All of them require you to stay friendly so you don't switch side to the Gelkis clan.

As everyone is getting exited about Target Dummies can I point out that these will never seriously feature on the AH as you have to be an engineer to use them.&nbsp If you are an engineer you can make them so why would you go to the AH to buy them!&nbsp My alt has engineering but I dont put these on AH because they have no market. ( I am not enthusiastic about repeatedly losing my deposit).&nbsp The hard word is - that this is a breeze for engineers or someone with a good guild profession organisation behind them.&nbsp I suggest everyone else should consider abandoning the quest as it is not worth the effort.

Bought the dummy in the AH in Orgrimmar, yup, expensive, but by this level one gold is not that terrible anymore. So on to the next quest, the head of Khan Shaka...
Doing quests is sometimes more a collectors fest, instead of really getting lots of xp.
Good luck!

I feel like I sold my soul to the devil when I took the first part of this quest..."Brutal Politics" Warug never seems to be satisfied, after returning to him with the broken crystal I knew even before turning the quest in he would want something else...Find your own doll Satan! Time for me to find a quest that is going to be lucrative, all I've done so far is piss off the Gelkis and turned myself into a slave for the Magram...Craziness! The drops were crap, some coinage and the occasional silk, every once in a great while you'd get a blue drop but if your grouped you have to roll and then chances are 50-50...Then I find out to get this stupid gizmo dummy, I have to have an engineer build it with parts I find or buy or I can get one at auction...SCREW that, haven’t gotten anything but a few lousy xp out of the whole thing, why would I want to fund Warug's doll fetish...

I had to buy heavy leather and pay some hunter 2g to make this stupid thing. I guess I got lucky though, if i had bought mats myself it would have cost me around 5g or more. This was the biggest load of crap.
