Call of Water

Find Brine in Southern Barrens.

Description

If there is one lesson you must learn of water, it is this: water means rebirth.

Its power flows, erodes, and makes clean all manner of things. You will find its ability to heal and replenish incomparable, but only when it is pure.

When you understand that water, when polluted, can devastate all that it touches, you will appreciate how vital a resource it is.

If you wish the water sapta, find Brine deep in Southern Barrens. Her home is continually molested by the quilboar there.

From the Crossroads: Take the Gold Road to the Southern Gold Road (the Gold Road turns into the Southern Gold Road past Camp Taurajo) Run to the signpost that marks the 't' intersection of the Southern Gold Road and the road that leads into Dustwallow Marsh (the only road that branches off of the Southern Gold Road that's not one of the Razorfen instance areas). At that signpost, turn your character slightly to the right (southwest). In the hills you will be able to see a building that looks like a Tauren building with a rotating windmill-thing. Brine is up there. Go ghost wolf and exercise just a bit of caution to avoid the stormhides, thunderhawks, and hyenas as you run towards Brine. Or kill them, your choice. There will be a tree to your left and a brown pond to your right and a "leg" of a mountain (44,77) you can easily run up to go see Brine (she's at 43,77).

While you're doing the call of water quests, keep your eyes peeled for Washte Pawne, a lvl 25 Thunderhawk. Kill her and bring the quest item she drops to Camp T, it's an extra 1500 xp.

Don't use cosmos, it eats children.

It's packed full of many many useless mods.

Get CT Mod and other then that single mods that are more effective.

What a huge bummer. Killed the elemental and there was nothing to loot! Got a request in to the Game Masters, but not sure how that'll go. My god I don't want to do that again.

worked exactly as wolf said,i died twice at blue shrine, but second wasnt necessary.got to shrine, killed one elemental.got to the altar and started filling, didnt see animation, servers have been laggy with quests and such since patch, then i was interrupted.got aggro from 2 elems and died.what i didnt notice till running back was that the bottle had filled while no animation was showing.if i had known, could have run instead of trying to fight.would have been off island and avoided second death.aside from that was smooth, and found shrine with no sweat, its a very short walk/swim from edge of mntns north of sepulchure.and spirit was a cakewalk at 20.
now to go play with my female taurean druid (so to speak).
may your blades never dull

Absolutely the best way to do this is not through Ashenvale at all. Go via the tunnel from windshear craig go east and a little north to stardust ruins. The water is in a birdbath on a small island identified on map as stardust ruins. Fought some elementals, R-clicked ont the blue bag in inventory near birdbath and it filled itself automatically. Perhaps using this path will be less trouble than the road, then cross-country.

It's NOT Mystral lake which has 27+ elementals, it's more like a small pound with an island in the middle of it. The birdbath is somewhat enclosed by some ruined walls.

I was lvl twenty when I did it and even those elementals are orange, 24-25. Use wolf form and just swim to the middle. I died once but made sure I went down on the island. Before rasing, mark where the bird bath is in relation to your body. Have the bag quick slotted, hit raise, fill it, you'll probably die again, I did cause the island swarms with those elementals.

MAKE SURE before you even do this your hearthstone is usable. You have a full waterbag, hit raise again in as safe an area as you can, and hearth out of there. EVERYTHING in that area is going to be orange to you both at the lake and near it, which is why make sure you can hearth out. Otherwise, if you don't want to do that you'll be having to wait til lvl 22 or so to be able to fight the mobs that will arrgo you.

This route through windshear crage is MUCH MUCH easier than going from Splinter Tree

Coordinates for the birdbath for you that have them (cosmos for me) are 33,67

Follow the road south out of crossroads, past Camp T. Where the road forks to go to Duskwallow, look west and you will see her place up in the hills.
