Ok guys, I was Lucky to set the coords on my map before they get deleted, I just used a deviate and well, I'm wasting it cause i'm typing in here :P

Anyway, the quest will ask you to go to Hillsbrad, coords 29,73 (about that area, the exact coords are deleted) there's a small book on the ground by the shore, guarded by aroun 4 murlocs which can be pulled per 2 if you're careful. don't try to send the void and picking it up, it won't work, just kill 2 with careful pulls and grab your look.

The second part is in 1k needles, you have to enter a cave guarded by the centaurs, the levels in there are 27-29 and they all are single pull, so don't be afraid to go alone, at exactely 44,33 there's a "damaged chest" open it and get your second item for the quest. If you're not too good with coords, just take the first right and clear all the way, the design of that cave is teh same one in Durotar, so just go the same way.

well, that's what I did so far, time to turn in the quest.

Send in the voidwalker first and use suffering to attract their attention, then grab the book while the're beating on your pet. Use sacrifice if necessary to get away.

Here's how i got the tome at the Hillsbrad:

Location : 27,72

1. Find a good spot to enter the water and swim untill you are near the spot.

2. Use a soulstone and summon Voidwalker.

3. Kill all the mobs near the tome that are alone. ONLY the ones that are alone...this should be easy, the tough part is to kill the mobs that are close to each other. Search also underwater.

4. Now you should have 4-5 mobs at the hut, near the tome. While you are in the water, send voidwalker to attack them. Be sure that every mob is attacking him, if needed tell him to attack the ones that are not attacking him.
EDIT: You can do the same thing approaching from the land... Just be sure everybody is attacking Voidwalker!

5. Go out and get the tome, then RUN LIKE HELL!!! If there is a mob attacking you, don't panic, cast Fear on him and continue. If you followed my advice to kill all the mobs that are alone, there shouldn't be a problem.

With lots of patience, this quest can be completed pretty easily.&nbsp

For Alliance, set your Hearthstone for either IF or SW before you leave.&nbsp I went to the Hillsbrad Foothills to get the Moldy Tome.&nbsp I stayed on the ridge to the southwest of Southshore and headed west (instead of fighting through murlocs on the coast.)&nbsp There are spiders and bears that are level 24-25 there but I was able to walk through them without having to fight.&nbsp

As soon as the ridge went down to the beach, I started picking off the murlocs one by one, and headed back east.&nbsp The camp you need is the first one you come to.&nbsp I picked off a few murlocs that wandered out of the camp, and then targeted a murloc in the camp, and sent the voidwalker in to attack.&nbsp I waited a few seconds to make sure all the murlocs were attacking him, and then ran in and got the tome.&nbsp It is a bluish/grey book lying near the water.&nbsp My voidwalker died, and I was attacked as I ran away, but was able to get far enough away so that the murlocs ran back to camp.&nbsp Then I hearthstoned back to IF and flew to Booty Bay and took the boat to Rachet in the Barrens.&nbsp

I followed the road south and entered Thousand Needles.&nbsp At the lift, I sent the voidwalker in to attack, and then I ran onto the lift.&nbsp I tried heading left and go down the trough like one person posted, but came across too many bad guys, esp. ones in stealth.&nbsp So I took the road to the south and then to the east, and then headed back north once I got to the Freewind Post.&nbsp

The centaus are lower levels (24-28) but some are casters who can heal themselves, so make sure and have potions/bandages.&nbsp I just slowly made my way north into camp by picking off the centaurs one by one.&nbsp Once inside the cavern I followed other posters advice and headed to the right.&nbsp Once I accidently got two on me, but feared one.&nbsp As I headed right, I went across the stream of water, and I could see the chest lying on the ground against the wall in the cavern in front of me.&nbsp Once I opened it and got the manuscript, I used the Hearthstone to go back to IF and turn in the quest.

So far it's been a lot of running around but I've enjoyed going to new areas, and look forward to seeing if the felhunter is worth all the work!

Found the Tattered Manuscript in Splithoof Hold in thousand needles.&nbsp It is in a damaged chest along the wall.&nbsp It's kind of easy to miss so keep your eyes peeled.&nbsp Also found the moldy tome along the beach south of Southshore in Hillsbrad.&nbsp It's in a small box/crate, also easy to miss, near on of the huts alont the beach.&nbsp Use the void in both places, shouldn't be too hard of a quest.

I also managed to solo this with my 30 lock, I just made sure not to attack any murlocks, took a few seconds to make sure my VW had attacked them all at least once, and then simply grabbed the book and ran, were it not for running into a lvl 34 night elf priest, I would have made it out alive =/
Oh there were about 4 murlocs in the camp when I did it :p

i went from ratchet took the west road out . then followed the south road all way down to thousand needles. the camp is easy to fight through take one at a time&nbsp once in cave you have to just fight till you find the chest

This is solo material.&nbsp Use the VW for the moldy tome and go for succubus for the tattered manuscript.&nbsp I was in and out of that cave in 10 minutes with her.

Found the damaged chest at 43,32. At 44,37 was a regular solid chest. The one with the tome was in a nook after still taking the right path.

Ive seen alot of talk about the book, but only 1 post mentioning where to find tattered manuscript.

it is in the same cave as the sacred flame quest, STRONGHOOF HOLD, NOT the yeti cave in hillsbrad, which seems to have same co-ords.

to find it, follow the RIGHT path, along ntil you come to you have to turn left. in that small junction u can go 3-4 ways. there is a little chest there, abattered chest, THIS is where the tattered manuscript is. i hope you have good eyes because it's fairly blended in with background. it sits behind a rock, but you should see it from where you enter the section its in.

i recommend doing the murlocs first and depending on your lvl, maybe find a friend if you can't handle multple enemies.

make your way to&nbsp (found it convenient to set my hearth to Org) if your patient enough, just swim around the mobs until your directly south of 27,72 murloc hut. they range lvl 28 to 30 and you have to fight 2 at a time. fight the mobs surrounding that hut and grab the item.&nbsp its looks like a book (tomb) on the ground lying to the left of the solid chest.

head out to thousand needles and head to the cave against the north wall at 44,37.&nbsp when you get inside hug the right wall and fight until you come to a small waterfall and a solid chest. standing slightly left of the chest look across the stream and you'll see the cave goes deeper.&nbsp head down that cave in that direction avoiding the path to the right and you will see the chest up against the wall.&nbsp its small and brown. grab them and sac your voidwalker if you dont feel up to fighting your way back out.&nbsp the mobs there are lvl 25 and drop aggro pretty easy.

Well i had some trouble finding the Moldy Tome... i got a 60 lock to help me with the tatterd manuscript -}! but anyway, what u wana do is go to the mine right, then u wana go to the East 3 murlock bases down and itll be just laying on the floor... preety easy

The first part of the tome is in the centaur cave in 100 needles.Its not a drop,but located in a small chest inside Splithoof hold, the cave in the Galak centaur camp closest to Freewind Post (NOT the camp with the panther in the cage).
Go inside, at first intersection turn right and follow the path avoiding the Galak windchasers near the waterfall.You should eventually come to a ledge above them,the chest is somewhere there.If you got to the Galak Flameguards,youre in the wrong place.
The second part is in hillsbrad.at the bridge on the road leading south into Arathi highlands jump in the water and swim till you reach the sea.You should see a bunch of nagas there.Turn south or right,and you get to a long beach cramped with murlocks.The tome is near some huts RIGHT BY THE WATER.At least a friend is reccomended since the mobs are packed real tight and spawn fast.

ya i tried for about an hour to get it be attacking by land. it didnt work. You can kill the side easily, then you go for the main part of the village and they all aggro, had three my best time, seven the worst. ya im gunna try going in from the sea this time.

I have gained an entire level and then some of xp killing murlocs looking for this tome. I have cleared every camp of the nasty things moving west from SS. I am going to DL Cosmos or Titan and try to find the darn thing. I'll be level 35 before I get my Puppy and I started as soon as I hit 30!

This quest was a serious pain to do. Well, the part by southshore anyway. I kept getting killed by mobs and when I read to put the void on aggro and was getting it, I got ganked by a human lock who was camping in the water <_<

can anyone help me please to get to the wetlands do i need to go through the arathi highlands or is there a easier way.....

The tome is there. As you look at the map, there is a coastal mountain range running from Azurelode mine to Southshore. There is a gap near the middle. I found my tome on the ground, water side in the southern most part of the western half. I was able to get the interact cursor on it from outside the camp.

I solo'd this on a suicide pet run. Sent in pet, it took aggro long enough for me to grab and haul ass. I still died but I got it. :)
